- A must-see when visiting PHUKET this year or next year. Khao Lak is only an hour's drive from Phuket Airport and we are fortunate to share our best moments with you. We start off in Khao Lak Oriental Resort and from there we check out the Bang Niang Night Market, a black beach and "White Sand Beach". This is the introduction of Khao Lak.
📢| Please be aware that the island group Similan is closing for visitors from 15th October to 15th May, and closed the rest of the year during the rainy seasons. Also, the restaurant at White Sand Beach shuts down around this period of the year.

My husband and I are in Khao Lak right now, staying at La Flora Resort. We’re loving the Khao Lak vibe and pace and we’ll definitely be coming back here in the future. Excellent resort and plenty to do. 1,450 baht is a very good price especially with that wonderful all inclusive breakfast. Agree the beach not the most beautiful but the second one made up for it and very clean looking too. Nice one guys. Thanks for sharing. 🤩 🍻🍻

I would go to Khao Lak often, staying at many resorts there. It can be cheaper than Phuket or Krabi but will include renting a car at Phuket or Krabi airport to self-drive to Khao Lak. The only disadvantage with the beach at Khao Lak is that it gets deep very quickly so might be a challenge for some.

We loved our stay in khao lack for the endless walkable beach and quiet. We found the town un appealing, nothing really there and the wide hwy like road was strange. Went to the tsunami museum, and into the old city (again mostly closed up when we there there during the day)
Hey mate :) didn’t you check out the market? Around that area we found lost of nice places and also the beaches were quite nice :) I guess this town is not for everyone 😊 thanks for watching anyway 🏆
@@Chai_Travel loved the area for the long beach and queiet, just thought the town of khao lak had no charm with a 4 or 6 lane hwy going through it.

Love Khao lak 😍 go to Thai restaurant at white sand beach so beautiful there! In the evening go to Bang niang nice restaurants and bars ( wonderland is a very nice place ) and surin eilandens are very beautiful also ❤

I love this area and need to pop in when that side of the world. That island that is closing, its a pity. Over tourism has its negatives but looking forward to see what you guys show

Love Khao Lak, our fav! Explore Surin and Similan islands, go to eat at Phu view, clime to Andaman view point (opposite 'road' of Avani hotel.Or at the famous Nangshe view point, early at the morning.There is also a very nice small local restaurant (no english menu) just before the control gate of Marine base (see turtle Conservation). Go Pong, Larn Deo, Krua Luang Ten are also a must to eat, as wel all hot pot places around the diverse fresh markets. Underrate island is for sure Kho Phrathong, and many other as Koh Kam,...Discover the Ols town fo Takua Pa. Sister's hotel has more the Thai's touch. Greeting to our Dutch friend living there Biker bar;-) South Khao Lak; best beaches (Pakweep, Bang Luth, Bang Sak).

We were staying in Sea Breeze just opposite Oriental Resort by Early of December 22, you must try Orchid Restaurant near the way out from Nangthong Beach.
Surin Island also beautiful...and there are the Morgan trives village beside the sea.

How do you go from the airport to the resort ? By taxi ?
You’re able get a Grab or Taxi. There will be signs that Grab is not allowed but those signs are put up by the taxi companies and it’s totally fine to order one.
Beautiful, but its scary to think how many people died there at 2004 from an awful tsunami tragedy. R.I.P to all the souls who died while having a vacation.
