Hey Paddy, The problems you're having with your Pannier racks is because they're locking out your rear suspension. On top of that the nuts don't look to have very much thread engagement. So they'll vibrate off pretty easily. You should actually have a bar going between both your box mount on the lower rear corners instead of bars going to the suspension. It will make your ride a lot smoother and won't risk breaking your shock mounts off. It might also be bending the top brackets of your box mounts or parts of the bike they're bolted too. I hope this helps. Riding in northern Thailand on a Wave 125 was the most fun I had last year before covid. So your videos are a great escape. :-)

We stayed in khao Lak last March just before lockdown .. we visited the museum and it’s a very surreal experience especially the wall that’s over 10 metres representing the height of the wave at that point .. so sad .. the lady we spoke to lost her parents .. they sent her and her kids up the hill but didn’t make it themselves .. so so sad 😞

I was in Thailand just after they mounted the Patrol boat, it is very humbling at the power of the sea, and the tragic loss, everywhere I looked there as damaged, yet the eternal Thai, they were already rebuilding, I also went over to Phi Phi and the same there in regards to damage etc... The movie "The Impossible" I think it was called with naomi watts is a very good account and a must see... well done on another great Vid.. Paddy and Dreamy Rock !

    That museum. Wow.
True that everyone who was alive at that time remembers where they were the day it happened. I was teaching full time. And for years previously I had photos of Phuket and other beach places in Thailand papering my walls behind my desk. So the tsunami was a big deal mentally for me, and certainly the devastation and loss was horrible. Thanks for posting this.

@@domi9577 You are right. I've just check. That boat is there for special mission. It was there to guard VIP person, which was Khun Poom. However, I was wrong the memorial is not specifically for Khun Poom. The boat were push from the sea to this spot and they held this area as memorial for the lost of all people from the Tsunami event.
Also, the moment Khun Poom was hit he was walking along the beach with his guards and his servant. They were taking picture of the pre tsunami, when all the water were suck back to the sea. Then they were out run by the wave later on.

All the Worldleaders were there on December 26 -2014 When you see the village it's hard to imagine all those big cars [ Obama with the Beast.] driving there .When I watched that Memorial on TV , decided to go there on my next trip in February 2015 .The Grounds are impressive ; On a cliff is a giant white Buddha . There is a wave with names and pictures of the people dead and missing....It was sad but so peacefull. Will never forget.....

Beautiful country-side. Was that 'still' image of the mosque surrounded by devastation in Thailand? Looked like the one in Banda Aceh, Indonesia - same tsunami though!

Your bolt keeps snapping because that bracket is preventing your rear wheel from moving up (or down) when you hit a bump. It is basically preventing your rear shock from working at all. You have effectively turned your Honda scooter into a hard tail (no shock). I am surprised you could not feel a huge difference in the quality of your ride when fully loaded.
