Dont know if you did or not, but I strongly suggest you change to a shorter pinion snubber or risk blowing out your new shocks due to the shorter distance above the differential.I learned the hard way!
How do you adjust the camber on these i want to make Mike’s negative usually the hole for the Allen wrench goes sides by side on foxbody it’s up and down I’m lost
The 3 main bolts on top, the plate is slotted for those main bolts. It’s not much adjustment but I’ve adjusted mine no issues to make wheel flush with fender.
I adjusted both, I set my shock to where I wanted the height, Then tightened spring hand tight. I figured that worked the best for spring rate. I haven’t touch them since I installed them.
So say my car i installed both already the spring and shock and it’s low i want to raise it some would i go back and raise it from the spring or the shock in the rear ?
@@ShskyThompson raise the shocks then raise the springs so there not loose on the control arm. Tighten springs hand tight while the rear end sags on the shocks
So I know this is an older video but how does it ride with the Godspeeds? My notch has like drag springs in it because it sits really high and I don't know if I want to order the cheap ebay lowering springs or just cut the springs in it. I'll upgrade later but for now just trying to get the car on the road but not look like a 4x4 😂
Im alittle late on the response and I apologize. In my opinion it rode stiff, if that’s what you like then by all means spend the money. I recently cut springs on my 1983 fox and didn’t spend no money doing it and I like the ride a whole lot better. I did 1 1/2 all the way around and it looks great. I ended up rolling my fenders because I run a x10 in the back and she rubbed. Other then that, cutting the springs is definitely the way to go for style, for performance go with these!
@@ISABUILT thanks man I appreciate you getting back to me. I find comments people left on videos from a few years ago that I never heard about. I ended up doing the maxspeedingrods upper and lower rear control arms, new shocks and struts and ordered the Ebay lowering springs. Ended up cutting a 1/2 a coil off the front because I was having issues getting them in lol. I am running 17x9s all the way around but did a 275/40 on the rear and 235/45 on the front. It looks great but I haven't driven it but 30 feet or so and the exhaust is way too low so I need to address that 1st. I'm looking for comfort and stance not to worried about racing. There's always going to be someone faster so I'd rather just have a nice quick cruiser. Thanks again!
@Joeshomegarage no doubt brother. Sounds like a nice ride you got, and whatever you do to it is only gonna make it better. Remember that sometimes you won’t find the answer you’re looking for and might have to figure things out by trying it out yourself which is what I did in a lot of my videos.
@@ISABUILT Okay cool, I’m having problems trying to get past the strut tower it not going at all. So I didn’t know if i needed to take it off or what? I was watching your video it didn’t that part

great dam video man i was looking the same video on this brand and like you no videos until yours thanks!
Thank you brother 🙏 I really appreciate that. I’m only trying to open options for my fellow foxbody brothers out there.
Great attitude 😊
That’s a clean ass Fox body mustang
Thank you brother 🙏🙏
New subscriber here! Just wanted to say your car looks sick
Thank you brother 🤙🏻🙏
Thank you for this video I’m thinking I may put them on my 1982 5.0
Your welcome ! I’m sure you’ll love them as I did!
Nice car my guy

How did you get those Aodhan wheels to fit over the fox hub? You definitely don’t have SN95 spindles.
They cleared barely, maybe i hammered the cap on the hub alittle bit
Got it sitting nice! Should ride good with those new coil overs . What’s your dream build motor?
It’s rides amazing definitely recommend!! And you already know , keeping it Ford. Coyote swap
@@ISABUILT ford all the way. Keep working hard you’ll get it!😁

Any update videos on this car? Would love to see it run.
Cars sold unfortunately, but if there’s anything you need help with please feel free to ask.
How was it riding the last time you had it?
Looks good, great video! Are your fenders rolled?
You know what! Good question I don’t remember if they were or not but never had rubbing issues, I never rolled them so I couldn’t tell you I’m sorry.
So if u wanted to readjust the height of the rear would u re adjust it from the spring or the shock ? I have a foxbody also

Did you have to take off top black piece for front coilovers to slide it up on top?
No I didn’t, was able to wiggle the coilovers through the strut towers.

What dimension tires are you running front and rear?
Front 245/40/18 rear 275/40/18 Achilles
Hay i know this is 3 years old but what offset did you run with your wheels thanks
No problem man, 18x9.5 18x10.5 +15
What's your honest opinion on these Godspeed Coilovers?
Stiff, definitely didn’t set dampening up right but overall worth every penny compared stock or even lowering springs
How’s the ride quality ? Hella bad?
I had them pretty stiff, they do have adjustable dampening tho. Was nice and tight to the ground
How you liking the coilovers?
There great

please lmk i ran into a big small problem lmaooo

There is a constant pattern with what you do. Stop doing things on the cheap.
