THIS! There’s a science to rhyme patterns and timing that some of the best only have one style mastered… the absolute scholars are able to experiment with different styles and make it sound unique to themselves! I love that you got that from my appreciation of Macs flow!
4:03-4:35 beautifully said, & his evolution as an artist is what makes it Bittersweet in that he started as a "frat-rapper" & genuinely evolved into a very talented & down to earth MUSICIAN overtime.... LIke Mac was MORE than just some 'druggie rapper' , the guy made MUSIC from his soul & you can definitely feel & hear it best in his last 2 albums, 'Swimming' & 'Circles'
