This footage is amazing! That blonde headbanger air drumming is me, at 14 years old! The 3x I saw you guys at The Stone in Oct-Dec 1987 were flat-out fantastic! Such great songs and musicianship! Definitely one of the best Bay Area club bands around at that point, albeit for a short time (sadly).
Scott, thank you thank you thank you for posting this!! I have been hunting for anything of my Big Bro for years, and this is the first I have found. It has been more than 20 years since I had anything more than a photo, and the Sunset album. I cried happy tears when Oonie sent it to me. again, thank you soo sooo much! *The Kidd - Anita D.
What a great band. Solid all around, but Charles DeRoover was one of the great riff-masters of the Bay Area rock scene. He wrote great riffs, like this one, that served as the focal point of a good rock song, but he was also an amazing lead guitar player, song writer, keyboardist and vocalist. Easily one of the best guitarists from the Bay Area. He had many other songs and riffs and it's a shame this band didn't break out and find an audience beyond the hand full of shows that they did with this line-up. But that's kind of hard when your lead singer decides to quit just as you're getting off the ground.
Miss jamming with you guys Charles still shreds
