Great shrubs! Lots of them I can't plant. I garden in zone 5b, so I am going to pick Golden Globe Arborvitae. Love the really cold hardy varieties, because many times I keep them in big containers until I decide on where to put them.
My Mom has Alzheimer’s and when she stays with me, I put on garden videos because conversations are hard for her. We watched this video together and while is was GREAT INFO for me, she just laughed and laughed and loved this video. Thanks for making my Mama’s morning and mine as well. Her laugh makes my heart full.
Trixie My mom had stroke induced alzheimers. I know how sad and frustrating it is when they start losing their speech. I’m sorry you both have to struggle with this illness. Your loving kindness means a lot to her even though she can’t say it. Prayers for Gods blessings on you both.

On December 24, 2018 our house burned, and on December 12, 2022 our youngest son made his transition to a new life on his 35th birthday. He and I were about to do some landscaping to our newly built home but, everything was put on hold. He was my go-to person for everything & now I'm about to take on this project without him. And after looking at several videos, this video was just what I needed as a person that has never done any type of landscaping. It made me realize I can do this although his not here. Thank you so much for such an awesome and entertaining video. I love it, and I'll be posting my video or some pictures of our finished project soon.

Many of your plants I can't grow here in Nova Scotia Canada, but still watch all your videos because we do have similar evergreen shrubs/trees (my favourites) & gardeners can use varieties from their area that are similar in shape & colour for pairing ideas!

My faves are lagustrums and arborviteas and encore azaleas. I have most of those that you mentioned, but the purple or lavender azaleas don't live or thrive here for some reason. I live in Garner North Carolina, South West of downtown Garner in the rural farmland area. I love it here, so quiet most of the time.BTW I adore your ENERGY and work ethic! You're a balk of fun and handsome too! Your wife is very lucky blessed lady!

You might want to add Ember Waves Arbovitae ....they are simply GORGEOUS! They don't grow as fast as Green Giant, nor do they get as big...but they are STUNNING!

I have beside a steeds holly, and slightly behind a lemon lime nadina..and on its other side, a several reblooming azaelas and behind and to the side of those a pitosporum..and oh, did I mention I have SIX sunshine ligustrum? lol I LOVE them!

Your garden center is gorgeous! I recently purchased Jazz Hands Lorapetalum..and I LOVE it! I have beside a steeds holly, and slightly behind a lemon lime nadina..and on its other side, a several reblooming azaelas and behind and to the side of those a pitosporum..and oh, did I mention I have SIX sunshine ligustrum? lol I LOVE them!

Hi...I'd like to purchase a couple of the Jazz Hands Loropetalum but have a couple of questions? Are your's planted in pots or in the ground? Have you had them turn purple and lose their varigation? I've heard that's a problem for some. ty

Okay, I’m being totally self interested with this request, but it would be amazing if you would take a second to tell if each plant is deer resistant or not. We have a small herd that loves to graze in the yard, and I know that arborvitae are deer salad! Thanks for a great vid!!!

I not just love plants but enjoy watching videos about it. So I have to admit this was the best. If I lived near your nursery, I would have to have $$$$ and have more than 100 acres just to plant all the plants you without a doubt would convince me to buy😂😂.

I have several of these- pugster & Miss Molly butterfly bushes, abelias, etc. I am looking to add a few more small evergreen shrubs so this was really helpful.
