    Señor Altuve is SO QUICK with his reactions/decisions/executions!!!! Bravo!!! Witness his play of the ball off after it caromed unexpectedly off of second base during a putout that he made against the Phillies in the World Series of 2022. He and Señor Peña are so unbelievably quick and smooth in the field as to be unbelievable…

    And MAN is it good to see Tuck crank one again.....God we've missed that. Lets finish strong!
    I'm not crazy about Yordan hitting second, I don't necessarily hate it....but I'm not in love with it either. Either way, this lineup feels capable. Which is a great feeling combined with how confident you are in Framber, Hunter, and Kikuchi. Gotta find one more strong SP in these last 2 weeks.

    • @dannyfoelber2124
      @dannyfoelber2124 Месяц назад +2

      Yeah I would go Yainer 2 and the Yordan 3 cause Yainer gets on base all the time and can give Yordan more threats. And since Tucker and Yordan can hit lefties, just have Tucker 4th and Bregman 5th. Who cares if the lefties are back to back.

    Update...
    After starting the season 12-24, the Astros are 80-68 with 14 games to go.
    If they finish 10-4, they will end the season at 90-72.
    The Astros are 5.5 games behind the Yankers for best record in the AL and 9 games behind the Phillies for the best record in MLB. The Astros are also 4.5 games ahead of Seattle in the AL West and 4.5 games behind Cleveland for the number two seed in the AL.
    That is an amazing season.

    Got a LOOOOONNNNGGG way to go before I'm even considering him for the playoffs....but JV took a solid step in the right direction today. 2 runs in 5 innings gives you a chance to win. If he can give us that in his last 2 starts of the year, I'll take it.

    • @alxm1271
      @alxm1271 Месяц назад +5

      He got hit way harder than what it looked like. He got saved by amazing plays from his outfielders. Still nowhere close to what JV should be.

      @@alxm1271agreed, if that catch by Myers falls he goes 4 runs in the first. Excellent effort by Myers and the rest of the outfield to keep it at just 2 runs. Right now I still think Arrighetti over JV.

    Can we all agree that Tayler Scott is a fraud lol you’ll remember this comment when the Astros make it to the playoffs

    • @imnotcreativeenoughh
      @imnotcreativeenoughh Месяц назад +6

      I wouldn't call him a "fraud". Guy's never pitched more than 20 games or 20 innings in a season in his entire career and suddenly this year he's pitched 68 innings over 61 games. He's just burning out in the last month and a half. I think a drastic cut down in his usage to end the season would do him some good. Either way, I didn't like using him in the 8th against the top of the order. Would've much preferred he faced the bottom order in the 7th to make it easier on him. Having Hader and Abreu unavailable tonight definitely made things a lot more tricky.
