Absolutely love my 2023 Mojave. I'm still shocked at how smooth it is and as a hunting truck it's been great in stock form. Video is comprehensive. Well done!
Superb review, the charts tell the real stories of the design and history of the vehicle class. The Honda is really the odd one out in this review, it’s a car with a decent AWD system that excels as a useful vehicle with its bed design and great passenger compartment comfort. All the attributes that make it a great road vehicle hurt it as an off-road vehicle. Not many other channels get into the nitty gritty of details that you discuss. Your love of trucks comes through in the way you present your videos. We all have our favorites but could appreciate any of the vehicles in this review. I like the frontier, it is a great truck stock and loads of potential modified. This is a great era to love trucks! Thanks for the effort with this review. 👍EA
Finally have something scheduled for testing later this month. If it all works out, the 2024 Tacoma Limited videos should start showing up in March. Kind of funny on the timing as I just finished the midsize truck shootout.
Hi Matt, I hope all are fine. When the new Tacoma test will be up? Are the media fleets send any vehicles for testing ? Could you get the new Honda Pilot or Mazda CX90 to test?
The towing video for the 2024 Tacoma should be up this Friday. The off-road video will be 1-2 weeks after that. There have been some changes with the fleets and I think the fleet managers are still working things out. Honda is from a different fleet manager, so I may be able to get one of those.
I get whatever vehicles the manufacturers send me. This week I actually have a 2024 Tacoma Limited. No crawl control, no multi-terrain select, just a transfer case, the standard brake based limited slip, and traction control off.
Thank you for the reply. I’m sure there are many viewers who would like a new truck, but with a budget in the 30 thousand range with a transfer case but without the expensive off road packages. Brake lock differential or A track only.
I appreciate the feedback, but could you give more details on why? Without additional information I won't have anything to help me improve for future videos.

Thanks for sharing! I really want to test a Mojave!

Love my 22 ZR2. You do a great job on these reviews and I'm not just saying that because the ZR2 took 1st place LOL.

As always, thanks for the comment and support!
If price was a category added with the other scores the frontier would have been #1 overall score.
Possibly, but the Pro4x isnt that much less expensive than some of the others.
Good shootout series! Do you also plan any new car/truck test video?

You said the 2023 frontier pro-4x has a plastic skid plate over the "fuel tank". Are you sure? Mine is steel..
My 2023 was a pre production unit with no receiver hitch either, so it may have been missing a few items.
EA. Any chance you can test the trucks without the off road package but with still with a transfer case.
Example say a Frontier S or SV.

I'd love to! I get whatever the media fleet sends me and whenever they send it. I'll see what I can do.
I’m unsubscribing!
