I'm surprised he plays the slow bluesy part starting 0.33 with a pick and gets it to sound good. I always finger plucked that part to get both strings resonating the same time when I played this song. Sort of hybrid picking. This guy can play the "LA big three (Van Halen, Lynch, Rhoads)" like nobody. Amazing skill. I'd like to see him do some Petrucci (Dream Theater) sometime. I'm sure he could handle it.
