- Five different retro games share the title Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, and of all five, but unfortunately for the Sega Genesis Power Rangers, it's also one of the six Power Ranger Fighting games. To make matters worse, its the worst of the bunch. Playing like a fighting game designed to be on the NES with just a two button controller, Power Rangers on the Genesis just comes off as slow and lazily made. With soooo much competition, does this game have any stand out qualities? Let's find out!

Just a minor mistake...it is possible for a Ranger to fight the giant monsters; as the Evil Green Ranger. By inputting a special code using a 2nd controller, Evil Tommy will be playable in 2-player mode. His move set is largely the same as his Good counterpart with the addition of the Sword of Darkness (Hold Down > Up + Attack).
Going back, Evil Tommy can fight the giant monsters, the other Rangers and the Dino Megazord. The only character he can't go up against is the Dragonzord (which makes sense since in the show proper, Tommy grew and fought the Megazord before gaining the Dragon Dagger and how/why would a giant Tommy fight and potentially destroy his own Zord?)
Edit: Evil Tommy can't fight Good Tommy either.
Yeah, that has been mentioned to me since. Still, just like with the Game Gear games, I wish that in the vs mode they'd just let you fight with any character, no strings attached. I wanna have good Tommy fight bad Tommy :{
