Ive loved watching this weeks episode! It could have been a 3 hour vid and i would still watch it all. Well done. Us old fellas can still do things properly!
Chopsie, I’m a big unit like yourself I’m 105kg. (232pounds) Have you ever needed to change springs on any bikes to cope with your weight? I’m picking up a Streetfighter in December and a lot of people are saying the springs are designed from someone under 80kg (176pounds)?!
You’re so lucky having all the bike bling shops/dealers/aftermarket suppliers there in the UK, here in Aus we got next to nothing!! Bikes looking superb!! Looking forward to next episode.
Well well what can I say? I am super excited for you! Can’t wait to see and hear it run! 👍 I hope you find the correct length bolts for your discs!!! You know it makes sense! Keep up the good work! 👍😁
Nice to see it progressing, for my tuppence worth, I’d keep an eye on all nut tightness, not sure if the powder coating was removed below any bolt seating surfaces, if not they will loosen continually until the powder coating cracks and drops out under bolt seating. Also have to watch any grounded electric cables to make sure they earth properly. Its one of the disadvantages of powder coating finish, although its not a problem if you remove the finish before installing all bolt/nuts. It’ll a be worth it psychologically, if not financially once its complete and being thrashed down the back roads or track days, keep them coming👏👍🤣🤣🤣🏴🇬🇧
This build pushed me to get a Hypermotard 1100! I found a nice one, and enjoyed it for 2 years and 15 000 km, sold it this spring, and I'm now on a 765 RS.
I can't believe it's been 4 years already! Those fancy bits look great on the bike! Really looking forward to you firing the bike up and of course riding it! 😎
Can't believe this is 4 yrs chopsy 😮😮 I'm sitting patiently waiting on the Kawasaki zxr 😁😁😁 great work chopsy looking superb , looking forward to it starting .👍
Can't wait for the fire-up! Just something to note - those "original" rear disc bolts you were comparing the new ones to weren't disc bolts. The original fasteners are cap head screws with low profile heads that sit in the counterbored recesses in the disc. So do make sure you've plenty of clearance before that first ride.
Great episode. It's been a long time coming but we're in sight of the promised land at last! Looks like it was worth the wait though. Can't wait to see the finished article.
Greasing that shaft and wiggling and whacking it is quite the assembly process… Stunningly, gorgeous bike Chops. Really enjoy your shop videos That complement your reviews
Can't wait! Very entertaining as ever Mr Chops. Corrosion on Ducatis of this age...or any age! Early 80's 900SS or the Pantah would rust in the rain. Ducati's response was don't ride them in the rain then. It rains here most of the time tho.
Had it really been 4 years! 😮 Wow, I did not realise that, but then again, you're as busy as a blue bottle, so I can understand. Looking forward to this one, always love me a Hyper ❤
An unexpected Tuesday morning chops video, what a treat! Bike is looking very sexy to chops.. And feel your pain with the tonsilitis, I had it a couple of weeks ago 😢
No need to apologise for a no start it's just such a pleasure seeing this project come together with all the time consuming details and shoutouts. Half way through I was thinking I think I'd prefer yours to a brand new version. Obviously a lot of blood, sweat and tears have go into it not including time.....ahem.
Can’t believe we ran into the same problem, got the new Kineo wheels for our gs project (17”) front and back popi went to fit the new prototype 320 rotors found the new titanium bolts I ordered are too long even though they’re listed for the gs, crap😭😭 anyway the bike looks fabulous ❤❤
The new bracket looks great. I don't blame you for getting the CNC'd, I was never happy with how it looked but it did surprisingly survive the about 5000 miles I put on it thanks to being made of ABS. Are you still planning on going through the ballache of changing the filters? Putting them on drove me insane lol.
Great upload Chopsie, you're doing a great job on this project and I can't wait to see it finished! I, and I'm sure others would be interested in any weight savings made and, if it's not too cheeky, the overall cost of the resto, if that's something you can quantify? I'm planning on doing a resto mod myself and it would be a useful indication before I get started. Thanks 👍
@@LambChopRides thanks, I appreciate it. The resto must run into many thousands! I am considering a mod job on my 900 hornet, the seed was down when a contact through work offered me an almost like new set of USD Fireblade forks for £200! All that adjustment is bound to improve an already decent handling bike! Why do I feel like I'm about to take the lid off Pandora's box? 😂
It's looking gorgeous. Looking forward to finally seeing it finished. Once it's done and running, I think you need to cancel all other bike reviews and spend a couple of months just making Ducati Hyper content!
Chops, where did the name lamb chop rides come from? My wife and myself are just sitting watching and she asked and I have no idea so I said id ask you!
Or if you know someone with a lathe to just turn them down 5mm or so. Or use two nuts, one as a locking nut, the other a guide to cut the bolt square and disc cut them shorter, then chamfer the end with a flap wheel. Or buy shorter bolts.
I know people who have done a prison sentence taking less time than you have to rebuild a bike 😂
I knew someone when I was a kid in the early 90's who got sentenced to 14 days 🤣🤣
I have built many bikes and i have known many people do time. That was funny.
How many years did it take for binky to be done
Ive loved watching this weeks episode! It could have been a 3 hour vid and i would still watch it all. Well done. Us old fellas can still do things properly!
Thanks Adam 👍

She’s going to be looking stunning 🤩 keep up the good work and the great content!!
Like British Rail you're getting there. Thanks for this episode
You’re so lucky having all the bike bling shops/dealers/aftermarket suppliers there in the UK, here in Aus we got next to nothing!! Bikes looking superb!! Looking forward to next episode.
Absolutely “Mucho” impressed Chops…….👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏/10.

You’ve done above and beyond with the total restoration of the bike , it’s been a expensive project don’t sell this beautiful bike Chops

Still some decent people about, nice workmanship in the bracket
That's going to be one cracking bike,, it's looking fantastic Chops 😉☘️☘️☘️☘️ from northern Ireland
Awesome video! It's really coming together nicely. I love the finishing touches and the bling is very cool. She is going to be sweet! Beat!
Great update video, Can't wait to hear it fire into life !!
Nice steel toe caps you were both wearing when you lifted the bike down 🤣🤣
I loved the “flashback” from it just going to be a bit of a freshening up, to full on ground up rebuild 😆👍!
This build pushed me to get a Hypermotard 1100! I found a nice one, and enjoyed it for 2 years and 15 000 km, sold it this spring, and I'm now on a 765 RS.
cant believe you lifted that bike barefoot. 😱😱😱😱bike looks good.

Yes time flys eh! 🤪👍
I've been watching you since day 1 of the Fireblade build, you've come a long way!
Dad strength comes through again!😂
Great work she looks awesome and can’t wait to her the fire up!👍
It’s looking soo sick! I am loving this build series! It’s one of my favourites as I especially love a top Supermoto build! Great work dude
I was gutted thought I was going to hear it burst into life!!
It’s looking incredible tho! Can’t wait for you to tell us the final cost.
Why am I so emotionally invested in this build?!
Can't wait for the fire-up! Just something to note - those "original" rear disc bolts you were comparing the new ones to weren't disc bolts. OK thanks 😁👍
CHOPS! It's been a crazy epic build, 4 years!
Who else does this lol!
Can't wait to see your smiles riding and owning this riot beauty!
Awesome video Chopsy! You must be getting pretty excited now 🤘🤩
Look forward to seeing the finished article I started watching your channel just before you stripped it down, think it was in lock down
Great episode. It's been a long time coming but we're in sight of the promised land at last! Looks like it was worth the wait though. Can't wait to see the finished article.
Yes won't be long now! Can't wait to ride it 😎😎
Bike looks fantastic, looking forward to the start!
Greasing that shaft and wiggling and whacking it is quite the assembly process…
Stunningly, gorgeous bike Chops.
Really enjoy your shop videos That complement your reviews
Thanks Kelly 👍
Really enjoyed watching this video Chops your doing a cracking job buddy. Looking forward to the next video 👍
Artwork fitting for display in the living room but needs to be on the road👍
Mate that’s beautiful well done to you and everyone involved and James what a legend making up the billet brackets
He's a star isn't he! 👍
That’s looking like a proper bit of kit!

Amazing job your doing, I’d love to do the same to my Dorso one day
4 years in the making but worth it Mr chops 😃great vid bike looks fantastic
Oooh Chops you little tease I was waiting for the start up! She looks 🔥 hope she's sounds and goes as good as she looks! 👍
Loved this series great to see it nearly finished looking fantastic chopsy
8:17 it’s only a common thing if you don’t take care of the bike. I had two s2r 800’s and they were spotless like from the factory. 😊
Had it really been 4 years! 😮 Wow, I did not realise that, but then again, you're as busy as a blue bottle, so I can understand. Looking forward to this one, always love me a Hyper ❤
Chops put the OEM air box back on the fueling is going to be bad with the MAP sensor outside .
really impressive, to be able to do this sort of thing must be amazing and I would imagine you are super proud, cannot wait to see it finished :)
Thank you so much! 👍
An unexpected Tuesday morning chops video, what a treat! Bike is looking very sexy to chops..
And feel your pain with the tonsilitis, I had it a couple of weeks ago 😢
Wowee looking epic Chops.. amazing job dude.. Im glad you took your time with it mate :) Pete
Loving the safety footwear in use during the move off the lift…😂
Incredible job you've done 👍👍 it's looking absolutely lovely. Noticed the GX in the garage, can't wait to hear how you're getting on with it.
Yes more on GX very soon! 👍
'Back on its wheels' ....definitely the right way to go, as opposed to 'upside-down in a hedge'........!!!!!.😮👍👍👍👍👍
The project binky of the biking world ❤
Chops is going to finish this unlike BOM and Binky .🤣
It's looking mighty tasty , Chops.👌

Four years sounds about right for a quick refresh turned restoration.
You not heard about labels for the different bolts 🤦
No point rushing it now... You are almost there. Looking tidy!
Love this build… kinda feel like stripping my Hyper 950 SP 😂
Do it!
Great job Chopsy, soon be running.
You've done such a good job of that bike! Looks fantastic, well done. Also interesting to see the audio/video improvements over the last 4 years!
Looking awesome Chops, got excited for the start up!! 🤷♂️🤦♂️
Such a tease!! 🤣🤣
Whats another week???? 🤷♂️🤣👍
Loved it.👍
Can’t wait for the next instalment
Beautiful, I’d love to have the ability to do this!
cant wait get on road - hyper the best ultimate super moto ! get it tuned up 130-140 hp ? blast
I was wondering what happened to this bike! Every once in a while id check your video log just to see if i missed it 😂
From the thumbnail notification I thought you had purchased a new bike then somewhere from a long distant memory I reminded myself that it wasn’t 🤣
Looking fantastic Chops, But the cost must be on the border of crazy!
Yeah it is...
Looking good, how many years until the Kawasaki zxr is started???????????
Vintage motard when it’s finished👍
Looking awesome 😎
I'm well jeleous of your garage mate it looks cool
Thanks inspector 👍
Would have loved a long episode!

Yeah this one got completely out of hand.. so really costs are ridiculous. When I do the ZXR I will give a proper breakdown 👍
@@LambChopRides thanks, I appreciate it. The resto must run into many thousands! I love this channel 👏
That’s not fair 😁, I’m sat on the toilet waiting for the 1 st start up , and I’m gonna have 2 wait, !!for the next ?? How long ?? 😂 nice job
Not too long I promise 😁👍
You are the biggest tease on you tube Mr Chops
Very nice chopsy , I remember you had loads of flowing long hair when you started this project 😂😂
It's like the ending to Inception. Will the spinning top fall?!
Awesome well worth the wait .
Thanks Peter 👍
It's looking gorgeous. Looking forward to finally seeing it finished. Once it's done and running, I think you need to cancel all other bike reviews and spend a couple of months just making Ducati Hyper content!
Haha yes absolutely 😄👍
I love that workshop.....oh and thanks for the teaser at the end 😠
Haha yeah sorry 😄
Brillant lamb chop my fav video. As not interested in new bikes so much .
Blimey, that loctite must have cost half a mill 🤣🤣
Ive gained three more grandchildren since you started this build oh and a big beard and two stone in weight 😂
What a tease, still no start 😭
I’m glad i fast forwarded to the end and didn’t watch it all just to see it not be started !!
Cheers 4 that
Love it 🥰
Won't keep you waiting I promise! Title would be different if I were starting it sorry for the disappointment 😞
@@LambChopRidesNo disappointment here. The fun is in the process and anticipation of the launch.
Chops, where did the name lamb chop rides come from? My wife and myself are just sitting watching and she asked and I have no idea so I said id ask you!
Hey it's only 4 years. What's another week.
You missed the gag when greasing the bearings Chopsy but i had a good laugh anyway uuhhh.
sides tand gag brilliant lol
Chrome!!!!
Holy shit, How is it over 4 years since you 1st stripped it down.... 😯
What’s another week Chopsy! 🤣
Nice😎
You need mavis in the garage series
Can’t you just stick a fancy nyloc nut on those bolts that are too long. I know they don’t need em but it’ll look better than threads sticking out.
Good idea 👍
Or if you know someone with a lathe to just turn them down 5mm or so. Or use two nuts, one as a locking nut, the other a guide to cut the bolt square and disc cut them shorter, then chamfer the end with a flap wheel. Or buy shorter bolts.
I'd have watched a hr episode tbf 😅
safety toes
That bike transfer from the desk on to the floor was dodgy. I was literally crying "don't can your backs don't can your backs... *
