Thanks for the Video. Just did my son’s 2013 m8. The stock reeds were F-ed up.
I now really appreciate how easy it is to work on my Axys compared to his Cat!
Glad it helped ya a little bit!
I’m in the middle of changing mine right now on my 2015 M8. Mines got electric start makes the job a lot harder. Gotta remover the hole starter and loosen off the starter bracket to remove one of the reed bolts.
So good to see the kitty cats purr
The best most reliable add ons to these cats is an slp single pipe kit with the power commander fuel box. Stick with cat 66 gr weights and stock springs in both clutches. If you ride from 7000-10000 feet this combo rips! Make sure you weight the weights because they will not be exact from the factory. The cooker thing can hooks up to the slp pipe sounds great and you have a warm lunch on the hill.
+Diamond Ranch Cooker 👍
I really like your videos especially the garage stuff. I put Boysen reeds in my 800HO engine and agree with guys, you need to check your reeds but if you stock reeds are good you will not noticeable big difference. Keep up with the great videos and will keep pushing the LIKE button

Thanks for watching! As we break stuff, there will always be shop time. And yes, we will be breaking stuff.
Do I need to remove the throttle bodies to get to the airbox? I had a tree incident and I need to repair that front airbox, seems like the TB's need to come all the way out in order to pull those rearwards.
Boysens to fit the stock cages are the way to go on the zuk 800
You guys do know if you get the rite kits they come with the boots for the v force reeds .
Did it change anything ?
Thoughts on the bdx oil injection delete?
hey you guys should do a video on how to remove air box and throttle bodies
You dont need to take out the airbox
I'm thinking it would have made things allot easier for ya if ya pulled the y pipe off.
see how you guys get along that be a blast to hang out with you be for my brother. Past away we was like you 3 joke and Kennedy doing work making it fun talking shit in blazing
Nice to see some DiY on arctic cats🖒
That works or just buy the boots designed for v force reed cages .
Added these reeds in my 2009 RMK 700 cause I really thought it would improve acceleration on my sled... All the hard work ended up with barely noticing a difference... 1 year later I had a high idle and was wondering what was going on... Then remembered the VForces... After again removing the throttle body pulled out the left reed and one reed petal was cut in half... How could this happen ? Put some Boyson reeds to the stock cages and my sled ran crisper and still holding strong after 3 years now !
Well then run those ones.
@@syxxes Yep ! Got to live and learn right ? =)
Love the sound of Ben’s sled! Where are you guys riding at on the lake?
+Scott Campbell
Yeah his Can is pretty agressive. That was Burnt Stick Lake. Mostly on the west end.
That’s not far from me at all. Heading to Cataract Creek in the morning. First time riding there.
His sled sounds good but just too loud. I've got an M7 with the bikeman Quiet performer porting high compression head and pipe mod and it drives me nuts. My stock axys is like the quiet as sled I've ever heard put that giant suitcase silencers got to go. I'm thinking Diamond S titanium quiet. You guys got any feedback on those?
+Scott Campbell Never been out there. Hope she's good 👍
Should of got Boysen duel reed valves set . I have and they work better
How do you know when the reeds are bad
I put v force 3 reeds in my backup M7 didn't really notice anything. I guess my axys comes with em.
+Darin L Yeah they're starting to come with good stuff
Let's air and gas in
Should of got the boyseen rage cage reeds
Do you need to rejet
EFI. No carbs
I work for Moto tassinari for 11 years you won’t see 5 to 6 hp. Better throttle response probably. They don’t even do most of there own testing.
yup work better but not a hp gains. complements hp bolt ons for gains at best. way better longevity
Friends dont let friends dont use V force, the cheap plastic reeds kill engines and they wont warranty your parts , then they blame your engine for damaging their part
The V Force 3 Reeds company .Should of design the Reed Valves so you could just put them in !!!

I'll let the boys know they fucked up!

@@nathanqaunaq2884 yes i know but do i have to have it custom made orrrrrr???
I think so I contacted them on Facebook
I would have bought a slp exhaust before that
Do that then xD
They didn't do shit for me
Cats in their natural state torn apart to be repaired due to normal operation. Look out Alfa Romeo Cat is calling you out for the least reliable motorsport mfg title!
