How to use an Apex Bill Acceptor with Arduino

How to program a bill acceptor and communicate with it using the Arduino Uno micro-controller. This tutorial is for the Pyramid Technologies Apex Series. Pyramid make it easy to interface with Arduino by providing a 5V Serial interface (600 baud).

if your using the arduino serial monitor make sure your using 600 baud, you can find the baud at the top right of the serial monitor screen.

This video would be so much better if you provided a proper wiring diagram and used the pin numbers not the wire colors
