Personal Trauma is not a recruitment issue susceptible of resolution by providing an unskilled job, im unsure if there ever would be a "solution" to these peoples issues other than that provided by the Almighty, one day.....but in the interim, our govt. has a pot of gold being our taxes, at the very least then, give these people a warehouse of beds, showers and toilets....even while it may never resolve the root cause of their issues....afterall, who can do such a thing?

@@Republic-Of-Me-Travel Indeed. The government has more than enough resources to provide shelter, food and care for every homeless person. Even temporary accommodation as you suggest would be better than nothing, which is what is being done now. What’s needed is wholistic thinking to address the crisis. As to your point about warehouses - Do you have any idea how many hundreds of vacant properties the government controls, sitting dormant while people freeze? It’s shameful. These properties could be so easily repurposed. My suggestion: the Minister for Homelessness - yes, we do have one - should live on the streets, say, three nights a week until the issue is solved. Just an idea.

Yes. The tragedy is that the problem is solvable by government, which has more than enough resources to provide immediate shelter, food, safety and services for the homeless. The government simply lacks the vision, will and competence.

Smoking meth doesn’t help. It’s literally a soul snatch stone. You can see it in almost everyone’s eyes… sad really. But the empathy is short lasting when you’ve been around boots on the ground not as a Mr RUclips man but just another c#nt to steal things and happiness to be converted into hatred. A dark stone

Young people should be working, or going to school, or both. Stop wasting your life.. U only have one.

Unfortunately some aren’t given the choice. Give a homeless young person the opportunity to work or go to school and they will jump at it.
