Interview with maverick independent filmmaker Luke Sparke about his new thriller Scurry and his place in the Australian film industry. Having made Red Billabong, Occupation, The Devil Beneath, Bring Him to Me and Occupation: Rainfall Sparke, who has just turned 40, is under-appreciated locally despite having chalked up an impressive filmography as a writer, director, producer and editor.
Scurry screens 6.30pm Wednesday, 10 October at the Nova as part of Monster Fest.

Samantha, 52: "It's the younger generation a lot of times I find are the most cold-hearted." "Back then it was much easier to be homeless. Back in the early eighties it was much easier. Things were open. Once they docked a train at the end of the line they didn't lock the doors. You could go and open the doors and sleep on the train."

Jab mandates were an absolute disgrace. I lost my career because I asked for informed consent and they couldn't even provide a data safety sheet. Most scandalist public 'health' policy in our nation's history. Our family would have been on the streets too if we didn't have long service leave. God bless you Jacintha. Praying that you eventually found your feet.

No homeless person could ever go hungry in Melbourne because there is so much help that if you go hungry then it's your own fault
Ice brings on mental health and people live in a delusional word of make belief there is support out there but some people don't want it because it takes to much of there money and they can't afford to buy drugs
You don't want a vaccine in your body but you will shoot up ice I think the vaccine would be a much better option than shooting up ice every fortnight how about being honest Jacinta
I tried to help her bought her clothes gave her a place to sleep I fed her and as soon as she got money in the bank she left so she could go get on the ice life will change for you Jacinta when you change yourself
A lot of homeless people should try getting of ice and try and turn there lives around

Shame on any Victorian MP or wealthy person for not assisting fellow Victorians in need of a home. Bloody disgraceful.
It's like this all over the country. The country is stuffed and it will only get worse.
I 100% agree with Jacintha; 1) If your immune system is high you'll fight off neqrly all illnesses. 2) Vacvines do not stop the spread of any viruses. There must be some dwelling somewhere that can offer Jacintha a home? She's a lovely honest person. Shared housing is out there. If I was settled myself I would find Jacintha and help her by finding her work and a shared house to get her back to normality.

Suze did not want to be interviewed, talks like she has a phd, and I think this guy interviewing was thinking that homeless would be happy to talk and share their story rather than he would be annoying them.

She has her head on tight. i hope she finds a proper life soon!! as much as Jancintha seems different to most others on the street. they are all exactly the same no matter looks age attire etc.they are all (LOST SOULS) going back 25 years ago street kids had many issues they pooled money to buy flagons of wine booze and Drugs and bashing people for money medication's! These days i see most are nowhere as bad as back then. today there is a lot of help with food packages with daily needs but still no beds. only the Jacintha What an honest bright lovely caring young lady. she could have said she needed things but she says no help needed she has enough to I hope you get eveything good in life from the near future.and i hope all other homeless get full governmental help. the street kids should have also been given 1 million to match the bomb money our government sent ukraine for bombs/bullets guns. 1 million spent on Australias homeless every single one could have a warm bed maybe kit homes. can you imagine how many kit homes could be given to our own.they can be bought for around $15.000 each. so 1 million into kit homes would buy thousands and thousands each year! Trump is there for his own country and i agree with him and we Australian's should do the same thing. stop immigration for a few years to get our own children of all ages old and young off the streets. @@JacobBaragry Hi Jacob. No person should have to withstand the perils and dangers of homelessness as though it’s a character test. I think you’d agree. Once a person has fallen off the bottom rung of the ladder they should be cared for with food and shelter - and a program to help them reclaim their lives.

Wow, that is a decent looking woman who is rational and not on drugs (seemingly, anyway), that’s unusual (and frankly, non existent in America). Melbourne seems to have a higher quality of human beings than America, and certainly a better quality of homeless people (in general). People in America are horrible (with rare exception). They will unalive you over a penny.
Wonderful Listen, Ive completed Cert IV in AOD and Diploma Of Mental Health. It's not about studying the text books . It's all about "Lived Experience" When you've Lived experience you are qualified as you have walked in the shoes of homeless. Suze your amazing.
