@@JusNoBS420 Not a lot of people are aware of Kim's Convenience. You won't be familiar with it unless you are someone who actively tries to discover new comedy shows. I don't think Kim's Convenience is popular enough in most parts of the world.
@@SomethingSomewhereJustOnce It’s obviously a Canadian produced show which generally doesn’t cross over into the American market. But it’s a great show!! Similarly to Shitt’s creek. Not until these shows came up on Netflix did they get any attention in the US

I cannot believe that it was trending in China that people thought SImu was "too ugly to be a Chinese superhero". Homeboy is GORGEOUS. On top of that, hilarious, charming charisma and an amazing personality? He's the whole package! Wish him an amazing career in the future ❤️

I didn't know people in China actually thought that but I definitely do, and I'm Chinese. To me he looks like Xi Jinping with a fantastic body. I can think of so many better looking Chinese actors. Heck even Tony Leung at his age looks better, and not too mention miles better acting skills and charm...

What an inspiration for my son! This brought tears to my eyes to now see that so many Chinese-American kids will be positively impacted by what he is doing! Finally, Hollywood is making room for Asian talent. All the best to Simu!! Shang-chi was so awesome to watch, the cast, the leading role, the script, so good, and this monologue was sweet and badass all at the same time!! Congrats Simu!!! 🎉🍾🎊🎈

He takes pleasure in mocking whites - hardly a "positive" lesson to teach mere children. His laughing at whites at the Golden Globes brought tears to my eyes to now see that so many people will be negatively impacted by what he is saying. All the worse to Simu!!
