The film is about two Korean-American brothers named Eli and Daniel who run a shoe store in South Central Los Angeles during the 1992 L.A. riots and have a good relationship with a young black girl named Camilla. Justin Chon and David So portray Eli and Daniel, respectively. In one scene; Eli explained to Camilla one of the meanings of the word "Gook" written in black graffiti on the hood of Eli's white Toyota. Simu is so adorably sweet, it’s amazing how he managed to answer the questions despite the cute puppy distractions. He’s such a cool guy.
I couldn’t do this interview because if I had the means, I’d adopt all the puppies. Like no question. My family already has seven dogs, four cats, and I’m about to get a bearded dragon once I move to LA.

I love how he didn't try and claim to do all his own stunts. Even though he did a lot, still had the humility to admit there were some things he couldn't do. Pity not more actors are this honest instead of trying to talk themselves up and throw the hard working stunt teams under the bus

In fact; when Simu was the guest host of "The Kelly Clarkson Show" he and Kumail did a game called "Super Power Through It" wherein they had to match the superhero to the powers they have. The twist is that if one of them got the answer right the other would have to drink a shot of a truly disgusting liquid; such as hot dog water. Blegh!
