Omg, I was a dog owner and that dog certainly was family to me and my relatives (after ten years I still dream of him). I payed for that dog to a certified breeder, I owned that dog, he was registered to me, and he didn't grow out of my house hold, like my children do. I don't own my kids but I certainly owned my dog. Don't know why this annoyed me this much, sorry about that 😁, but it did.

They'll warm up to females fairly quickly but it takes awhile for them to become comfortable around a new male.
