The fact that it was Chris’ idea to bring on the senior dogs too. He was so sweet and patient with them. And he’s right that there’s something special about older dogs. Chris is just a gem of a human.

I run a non profit rescue in the Midwest. Chris is the real deal with these dogs. I’ve watched a few of these now and several of the actors/actresses pretend to like the dogs because they are supposed to and it “looks good” but they have no real connection. Chris not only loved dogs but he was understanding of the way they think and what they need to be comfortable
I fantasized how I I were a celebrity and asked to do one of these interviews they'd be filming the top of my head because I'd just lay down and let all the puppies climb all over me and snuggle them.

6:48 I love this. I worked at a dog kennel for a while and there was this one older Rottweiler who didn’t trust strangers. The day he finally walked up to me and asked me to pet him was just the best day of my life. And then after that he became just a big baby who wanted endless love and snuggles lol

Chris Evans is just a good hearted soul. The puppies did their thing and had a good time plopping and wallowing and tail wagging all over him, and he was so sweet to the older dogs and really knew their needs. I know he has anxiety himself, so he definitely knows how to calm anyone and make them feel safe, no matter if they're human or a puppy
I noticed he calmed right down when the puppies came in -- his tone became softer when he's usually so energetic and out there.
