    the easiest way is to use subtotal and put 9 on the start of your formula, example =subtotal(9,A1:A13)

      Aggregate does what subtotal does and more. there is a big overlap between the 2 but subtotal is limited compared to the Aggregate in a number of ways. Subtotal offers only 11 functions compared to the 19 of Aggregate. It is not a matter of easier as this depends on preference and what you are used to using. If however you are going to learn something new then you are better off learning Aggregate.
