Great explanation! Everything is clear and explained in an orderly manner! I also love that you provided solutions for problems that could occur, this helped me a lot so thank you!
Thank you for this amazing tutorial💐. I have question, after editing input i lost the connection of the eyebrows, i mean i deform the skin underneath the eyebrows in my blend shape but now it doesn't move at all. Could you help me please? 🙏🏻
Interesting! Start by checking the input order in the Channel Box under the “INPUTS” section to ensure the skinCluster node is above the blendShape node in the deformation stack. If the skinCluster node has been overridden or is missing, you might need to rebind the skin weights. Before rebinding, ensure you save the current skin weights using the “Export Skin Weight Maps” tool, so you can reapply them after rebinding.
@@sarkamari hi again, hope you're fine. Well the skinclutster is above the blend shape node but the problem is when I put the ffd node above the skinclutster I lose eyebrows deformation that I did in the blend shape and if put the blend shape node above the ffd node, I lose the ffds action. Is there something I can do with that?
Every time I move the blend shape down in the input hierarchy my model moves slightly down. The base of the model doesn't move but the face does and my eyes go back into the skull. The bones don't move, it's only upper part of the geo. Why is this happening?
mmm !Sounds like your blend shape is affecting the position of the face geo, maybe due to the deformer order. Try moving the blend shape higher in the stack or checking if any other deformers are affecting the position. Also, make sure the blend shape weights aren't accidentally shifting the geometry.
hello thanks for the tutorial is there a way to make a Connection of Each other for example if i move Controler blendShape Drive.and if i drive BlendShape from Shape editor then the Controller move.its like two way Connection.
A wonderfully helpful series thank you! I have a question though. I tried making some blend shapes that affect the eyebrow, but the lattice is taking priority over the blend shape (stopping the blend shape from affecting it). I tried putting the Blend shape input at the bottom of the list of inputs, but sadly it did not fix the problem. If I want to make blend shapes that affect the eyebrows, should I just try using bones to manipulate the eyebrows instead of a lattice, or is there a way to get the lattice and the blend shapes to work together? Thanks.
Thank you for your tutorial! Very helpful for our animators to change the appearance of existing rigs! I just have one question, even if I change the order in the input box, the rig is still not functioning. My rig do has two blendshape nodes on the geo I want to change, would you kindly teach me how to address that? Thank you so much!
Amazing tutorial series . Maybe, best on RUclips. Thank you!
Great to hear Leonid. Truly appreciate it
i currently study animation and let me just say, you are a lifesaver! thank you so much for making these videos, they help me so much.
Great to hear 🙏🏼
Omg I was trying to figure out how to get the soft selection to not include the lower lip while I’m making phonemes. Ur a life saver😭😭
Saw this for first five minutes and I AM IN!!! Thank you 🙌🏼
Thank you. I am glad you've found this one useful.
What a terrific series. Thanks for all your hard work and excellent instruction.
My pleasure

Thank you for the kind words.
Glad you found the video useful 🤍
tool selection with surface is very good,...thanks for tip...its very helpful for xpression....good job...
Nice dude, been looking for how to make a control for my blend shapes, thanks for the vid
Thank you so much sire this helped me a LOT !! 🤩
Thank you for this wonderfull series! This was really helpful.
Looking forwad for more riggings tutorials.
Thank you🙏🏼

Try changing the order of the skin bind via the input. It’s the ordering issue
@sarkamari I did that, it didn't work

@sarkamari thank you I'll check that🙏🏻

Thank you Sonia
That's really fantastic tutorial. Thank you so much!

Same thing is happening to me, did u figure it out?

great tutorial! but why dont u use the deformer thing on the mouth like what u used on the eyebrow?
Just slightly finer control over eyebrows and certainly non destructive

Clear and easy to understand.Sooooooo goooood!
Great to hear 🙌🏼
fantastic video dude
Thank you Fred :)
Great tips
Great tutorial! I just want to ask; If I want to add a new blenshape (Like a new expression) And add it to the original blendshape, how can I do that?

I tried to do this to a body rig and the skin does not follow the skeleton. How do I fix that?
Thank you for this series! and also the Link to the Jolly Blog is not working :/
Sadly the site's been taken down temporarily. Here's an alternative:

How are your eyebrows connect to the blend shapes
WOW thanks for u tutorial ;)
thanks
My hero
Can you make the teeth part of the blendshape??
It's very uncommon. Better to add controls and rig the teeth if you wish to animate them. Otherwise it's best if you leave the seperate.
