This is a pretty cool video! I was doing some research on the R61, because I got one for 15 dollars at a garage sale! The one I got actually is running Windows 10 on it, because the person selling it already loaded it with it, then I also have Ubuntu on it as well. The one I have I'm pretty sure has been upgraded because it has 4 gb of RAM and a 240 gb Wd Blue hard drive.

Awesome buys man. I wish I had the dockign station too. Been looking for one to slap my x201 into for a while now. Sadly there are no pcie ones for my thinkpad ;_;
s possible to upgrade whith a SSD Sata III o M.2 in this model? What is the better WIndows for this machine? is possible to get a recovery copy original Windows Vista by Lenovo like brand new? How many RAM is the maximun? Type and speed Ram? Thanks!
Watching your video made me boot up my Lenovo t61 for the first time in like 2 weeks and now all i get is error beeps.. :/ One short beep, pause, three short beeps, pause, three more short beeps, and one short beep. I guess I need to open it up and check the RAM, I hope it's the RAM. if not it's the system board.

I used to have a ibm thinkPad r61 back in late 2013 but the graphics card died on it it had 8gb of ram and windows 8.0
I have a T61p kicking around in a box under my bed should pull it out and mess around with it. Its running Windows 10 Pro

My school and pretty much the rest of all schools in my county use T430's, i managed to snap mine in half so i use my own laptop instead.
