Cam bearing inner race removal & installation Harley Twincam 88

The roller bearing on the rear cam comes with the inner race separately. When changing bearings you need to replace the inner race too, as they wear together.

Luckily I still had the factory setup with 2 outer ball bearings so did not have to remove the old race but pressing the new one on the cam shaft only, like you did. Like your “Press” very much, is quite small. Have you build it yourself? Good and informative work as always!

Thanks! No, I didn’t build it, but whoever did made it pretty sturdy.
