Great video. keep the great work!. I worked my first job at Bridgestone Tire Factory back in Mexico. It has been years I don't see the process to balance tires. It was amazing.
    Thanks for the video.

Looks like a Hercules TG Max clone if it’s anything like the Hercules they are awesome tires especially on heavy trucks

I think the truck looks great with those wheels and tires! Could you tell me what color of powder you used exactly? We are doing a project truck at my high school and would like to use that color. Thank you for your help sir.

Sorry it took a bit to find my order history for that color, it is called Ultra Charcoal PMB-5531 from Prismatic Powders and I really liked how it turned out as well!

Let us know once you get 30+k miles and then please review it again. Every KO tire that I have had on my HD truck has failed since 2008. They do not balance and if they get balanced stay balanced for only 3k miles and I like many of us change oil and balance and rotate at that time. I am over the BFG craze like a cult thing on past performance and have tried all the AT and Hybrid tires from Nitto, Toyo and even Geo AT 3X and have found Falkin Wildpeaks to stay balanced, wear evenly and lasted the longest vs any other tire I have used and I drive 40k miles a year with 25k city and 15K hwy pulling trailers, heavy equipment and wide boats. They are also quiet which is important since this truck I have is gas vs diesel. I have a F250 7.3 gas w a Carli 3" level suspension lift and 37 12.5 x 20's on a 9" wheel.

I totally understand, I have run the KO's on several of my vehicles and for the most part they have not been good on the highway and haven't had great tread wear on the pavement either. But they do great in the environment that they were designed for which is off pavement in the dirt. I have also ran a few other AT types of tires and had the best luck with Nitto Terra Grapplers. The big problem with the BFG KO's is their outdated carcass design which apparently they don't want to spend the money to come up with something better and if they did they probably wouldn't be able to have the "Baja Champion" designation on the sidewall anymore. Currently I have a set of BFG Trail-Terrain T/A's on my Yukon and they balance up good and have done great on the highway, so I am very optimistic about these new HD Terrain tires as far as carcass design and overall build quality. I will have update videos coming in the future, these tires have done great in the past two months of regular use so far and we hope to show how they do in the snow, ice, and mud coming our way this winter!

awesome looking forward to the review. I just read they are coming out w a KO 3...maybe in January/Feb they will have my size. I even have BFG white letters out on my Golf Cart...I just wish they would improve on the wear and balancing issues. @@MrWheelman-el6pg

Watched the video and while it gives you an idea it is far from complete. Need to put miles AND this tire using the balance machine the OP has would not work for me. These tires need to be road force balanced! His machine is not used any longer at the more modern shops. Had my 37x12.50-20's put on at discount and watched a road force of 68 go to 18lbs on one tire by breaking down and rotating on the rim per the machine's instructions. Small old shops like this are becoming a thing of the past due to more advanced mounting equipment. My tires btw are smooth as glass even at 85 on West Texas highways where 75 and 80mph speed limits exists. Just my .02.

I agree that the road force balancer from Hunter is the way to go, in fact I used to have one and loved it. The problem is that I am a small shop in western Nebraska and NOBODY is willing to pay extra for the service and EVERYONE expects the road force service for the price of a regular balance. In the end the price I paid to get a road force balancer(about 17K) wasn't worth it for me and I sold it when I downsized my operation. I don't know about other areas but for me the wheel and tire business is about a tenth of what it was 10-15 years ago. The Hunter balancer in the video is old but works great and we have owned it since new and maintained it with new parts when needed. And unless people start shopping locally again I can't justify spending 20K on a new balancer for a few sets of tires per month. BTW my old road force balancer is just 4 blocks down the street from me and rarely gets used. Sad story, I know.

How can you recommend a tire based off of a short term ownership all while driving on a well traveled dusty road, you’ll need thousands of miles more to go before you can recommend a new tire from any brand. In addition, based off of the video showing an absolute atrocious, horrible ride and unless you’re towing or hauling recommended you run the tire pressure at 46-50 lbs max empty. Recommend you do rain, mud, sand and especially being a work truck, highway review.

I suppose that my 25 plus years of being a MAST dealer or maybe the fact that I've been selling BF Goodrich and other brands since 1986 might qualify me to write a review on a tire. The dusty road you refer to is actually an abandoned sand pit, most of the trucks on the road would not make it through the trail we drove through, I've seen atvs get stuck in that area.
And thank you for the recommendation on tire pressure we'll be sure to pass that information along to Ford so that they may reprogram the TPMS sensors for more sensitive drivers who have never driven a commercial grade Super Duty. And yes we plan on many more videos and long term updates on these tires, obviously we will have to do a snow test on a truck that just received a snow plow but I'm having a hard time finding snow in September for some reason. Well I guess you'll just have to wait a bit longer for that one, thanks for watching.

You should put those 25 years of experience together, run to your local automotive supplier pick up a portable handheld tire pressure gauge, drop the pressures down along with removing those crappy shocks, replacing them with smooth body fox shocks. Stock 3/4 tons and bigger make horrible off-road vehicles especially in loose sand. I could go on but rather move on to more creative content. Thanks for making an effort and in the future you should appreciate constructive criticism, only improves content from there.

@@txgreek3512 here is some constructive criticism for you: you need to work on reading comprehension and you don't seem to understand commercial truck tires or the vehicles they go on, nobody is going to put 2k worth of shocks on a fleet vehicle and how many miles that someone gets on a commercial grade traction tire is usually at the bottom of the priority list. I've been selling tires for about 38 years since you missed that the last time. Good luck you are not the viewer I'm targeting.
