My mate getting a bit of ploughing match practice with the FE35 and Ferguson plough. FE35 playlist at • Ferguson FE35 videos ruclips.net/user/grizzly98...
I have a 1958 FE 35 exactly like this and use it regularly for ploughing using either a 732 three furrow or a 732 four furrow plough....It will pull three furrows anywhere and four furrows in good conditions....Its a good starter smooth and quiet to use and uses very little diesel....good fuel injection timing is critical for easy starting on this engine ! I think this model of MF tractor is one of the best they ever made...I am the second owner the first being the neighboring farmer...I purchased it at the sale when he passed away so I know its full history .
Brings back some fine memories from my youth. When you could show the "old man" a decent ploughing, you became a man, even though it could always become better. MF 35 is a masterpiece. Thanks for sharing.
I very much enjoyed your video. Wonderful old tractor and great ploughing job. I use an IH 444 with a similar plough as yours. I would like to see a video sometime starting in heavy sod ground instead of stubble. From Nova Scotia Canada
I must be hard for the neck to keep looking behind while driving, I know nothign about ploughing, but does the person really have to look behind all the time ??
It can be hard on the neck using implements behind the tractor...but that is part and parcel of tractor driving, you have to watch what the implement is doing
