Funny but many of the Redwood trees do not look as big as I thought they'd be ... I know what you're thinking. That I must be mad, but I really expected all of the trees to be humongo!

@@SuiGenerisAbbie The Giant Sequoia trees are much larger than Redwoods, are the largest living things on earth, and only found in California.

I watch Snow and Curt. Don’t think it would help with your door, but they have 3M security film on their windows and doors. Saved them from a break in down in Chile. Glass will shatter but will not come off.

Can you get an extra little step for your dog? I can barely watch him jump down from the RV, it will totally shot his joints especially as brown labs are prone to obesity and arthritis :(

Maybe talk to other people around you when you arrive somewhere and ask them if they know anything about the area and whether it's safe to camp. Knowledge is power.

I've spent time in both Arcadia and Eureka CA. Its a beautiful place. Just up the coast from Arcadia there is a herd of Elk that goes down to the coastal area. I was really fascinated that they go there often and hang out for the day in the grassy area.

Every once in a while I see a vid like yours, same subject and I ask myself "why didn't you open the door and let whoever it is meet Bear?"
Man's best friend is always the best deterrent and that's one of the reasons we feed them,
He has the instinct to protect his food dish, let him.

I think you may have had a real bear rattling your door. They are very smart and used to getting food from humans. I spoke with a ranger, who was down on the Lost Coast Wilderness area, a bit south of your location) and he said the bears walk into hikers campsites and steal their backpacks (then tear them open for food). Also the bears in National Parks like Yosemite Park, break into cars all the time. My vote is your Bear had an encounter with a real bear.

Oh my gosh at the beginning of video when you were in the big trees and around the time you held your arms out I heard a voice in my head that said big foot is there and this is before anything mentioned about a siteing of big foot in that area or even consciously aware of such a thing there so when you later showed the big foot stuff I was so shocked and I went back to watch the beginning of video again looking for big foot lol. I didn't see anything yet makes me wonder. I get messages that turned out to be true before. As far as someone trying to open your door that is scary and I feel like it was someone drunk or not in their right mind. I had someone try to open my door in daylight which I thankfully had the door locked. I saw a white bald man with his head scratched up and he was staggering all around my place. I called 911 and he was out of it and not even knowing where he was. I had my Granddaughter with me and just wonder what would have happened if the door was unlocked.
