Guys, we are dry and sunny here in Seattle! It's quite nice here, actually. Temps will stay close to what we (in America) call 70-71 degrees until Sunday. (70-71 degrees = about 22-23 Celsius)
Safety Wing is ab-fab cost wise, if you are UNDER 40. Beyond that age, premium costs rise sharply! Love all the jokes that you made about Hope and using the word "hope" a lot, 🤣
Buy a small dehumidifier and also you can buy a lot better stuff for cleaning out drains than vinegar and baking soda(most hardware stores will stock it)
Hi guys . I'm very excited to be a new subscriber on your channel . I am 67 years old and will be soon starting my " new life " on the road with my precious girl Lucy a 4 year old Doberman . This will be a new life , a new way of life a life worth living. Looking forward to your next video . By the way I am a retired RV technician and it looks like you have made a good purchase . Buy some tools even cheep ones are better than no tools. Peace .........
I like your vlogs. Putting moisture absorbing pellets, cat litter and the like is quite hopeless. They don't work, humid air will keep coming into the RV on top of what your propane hobs and the furnace produce. Having thermal covers on the windows at least during travelling and the night would significantly reduce condensation. Having a good ventillation will also help.
Hi guys. New adventure for you. Good luck. For an old guy like me, who used to love stuff like this, I couldn't imagine anything more uncomfortable, unless I was in a $250k + motor home cruising the warm tropics. Lol. Forever expanding your experience is an awesome way to grow. Love watching you both grow, together. 😊
When your plunging drains you need a 2 to 3 inches of liquid/ water below the plunger to pump. We drove from Vancouver to Calgary in the late 70s, awesome. I took my eyes off the road for a few seconds then realised I had a road train up my clacker, scarey. Thanks so much for your vlogs, stay safe & enjoy.
Bear spray (not the dog kind of bear) and a half sized axe handle or baseball bat might be handy on your walks and general security. Wiping down with Vinegar is good and cheap for anti-mould. Do you have a vent you can use whilst cooking? Any plans to get push bikes? Classic relationship fun. Losing the power of speech when your loved one bangs their head. I know not everything works out as you plan but that is part of the adventure.
Hi. Found your videos while planning to take my mother and aunt to Vietnam so they could meet my wife's family. Anyways... I live in Vancouver. One time years ago I was in Vietnam for 2 months and came home to my car full of mold. Best thing to avoid that is kitty litter. Couple dishes or Mason jars in the right spots and it will swallow the moisture up for you.
Hang in guys!! It was a wet cold few weeks for us getting back frm Playa too boo 😢 but the sun is here! ☀️ So much better when it’s warmer….supposed to be 24C on van island here tmrw woot woot time to get the boat in the lake 👌
I love that you had a party for Bear's birthday. Your RV has my favorite floorplan. I'm looking to purchase a refurbished one from Cruise America with the similar plan.
Awe! You stopped in Port Moody for Bear! I know that store well…My hometown; Been following you 2 for some time now. It’s been interesting & informative. You 2 do quality work. We’re on one of the Gulf islands off the coast of BC…really interested in watching you adventure off in your RV…we just purchased a “classic” RV last summer. Cheers from the coast of BC. & safe travels!
I think you need a dehumidifier . I just emptied my apartment into a storage locker to go travelling . If you're ever passing SafeStore , Holloway Road , London , it's yours .
Hello Lloyd, Mandy and Bear! I am only new to your channel as of today so have obviously missed a lot. I’m not going to lie, when I heard you had a four year old Chocolate Lab I was hooked. I have a seven year old Chocolate Lab, female, named Saje. Happy birthday to Bear! 🎉. I have dreamed of doing this type of living, so I look forward to catching up on your channel and watching your up coming adventures. I’m in Alberta myself and have a relative in Kelowna. You will love it there I hope. Take care, peace and calm. 👍🏻😎🇨🇦
Great vlog...because it was so real...and I couldn't help laughing along with Mandy everytime there was a bit of a mishap...all good...that's how adventures are...rolling with what life brings...you two are getting good at that. Look forward to the next.❤
Hi guys, just going to let you know I live in Washington State down in Olympia and it's getting very nice..Finally, sunshine😁 and it's that way all the way up to Seattle. So yeah you're right. Might be a good idea to go south😅👋👍
Propane adds moisture and makes it so much harder to keep the moisture down. Maybe try electric heaters? That is if you can get electricity. Good luck :)
I went down that same sketchy road trying to get to the lake in June. It’s still closed 😢 I’m glad I didn’t know Golden to Revelstoke was dangerous when I drove it 😮😂 yikes!!
We have a doggie we love Archie to bits , but so in love with Bear so adorable , so can relate to mean dogs , my husband and our dog got attacked and both needed medical attention our Archie needed a opp that is how badly he was injured in the attack, the man who owned the dogs, did not even say sorry, in hence saying safe travel to both Hugs from Melbourne the Yara Valley xo
You’ve likely already found that the Coquihalla is a horribly sterile 4 and 6 lane expressway. Highway 3 from Hope to Osoyoos and Kelowna is a far, far more scenic highway. Please don’t forget Canadas vacation jewel, Vancouver Island.
I'm glad you didn't stay around the sketchy area especially after hearing you had no service. I just subscribed so I don't know but do you use IOverlander for camp spots?
LLYOD AND MANDY, me and my boyfriend just love watching your videos. I wanted to leave you a comment in hopes of saving Lloyd's poor head. I was feeling for him everytime he hit his head on that shelving and thought this bandaid idea may help for short term. Get yourself a pool noodle and cut it to size of the bottom of the shelf and attach it. This would hopefully lesser the pain everytime yall hit your head on that shelf. From your friends in Minnesota!
Hi guys, just discovered your channel...love it...hey lloyd, I'm from tweed (heads) today's temp was 25° or 77° just your average autumn day here in northern nsw...he he...anyway...enjoy that rain...
Yep, the gold can be a pain in the but and even Byron's getting chaotic but those beautiful little towns and villages in the Byron hinterland are just gorgeous. I've got a great friend who lives in a town in Saskatchewan Canada he sends me pictures of winters there...very snowy. Great for skiing
New subscriber! Happy Birthday to your beautiful fur baby! 💞💗 You're a cute couple. I'm probably going to have to do some catching up on your videos. Yay!
I swear.... if I can find a remote or even traveling job... My hometown will never see me again.. all I want is this life. even with all of the hardships... im dying here.
By purchasing a 20+ year old RV, your new title is Nomad/Repairperson. You'll be spending as much time "fixing" as traveling. Think of the various systems you have in your unit: electrical, plumbing, mechanical, structural in addition to the auto system. All contain moving parts that can be as much as 20 years old and now you are "jostling" every day. I hate to be such a downer but these are the reasons my wife and I no longer own an RV.
I have been living in rvs since 2014 in Saskatchewan and Alberta and have spent very little time fixing. It's mostly maintenance to ensure there are no big issues. I will tell you to inspect your roof and the roof seams. Reseal them and make sure no water leaks in your rv. Take care out there.
@Katie T I love the old RVs I had a 1992 28' class c that I loved I had over 200,000km on it when some drunk rear-ended it while it was parked on the street.
Mostly, yes ☺️ As long as you're respectful of our towns and you don't cause any issues or trouble with the locals, then we obviously welcome the business!
If you guys make your way to Niagara Falls please let me know so I can take you to a few wineries in my area and treat you to a lovely dinner. Bear can play with my goldens❤
On the way to that campground and those campers on the side of the road. Those are all homeless people. That's what it looks like in Washington in certain spots. It's like that all over the US. Homeless people everywhere. All the garbage and all that yeah 😢
Well, sometimes we only see what we want to see. I've seen a her attending to a moisture issue, also walking the dog, washing the dog, cooking breakfast, lunch and dinner, washing laundry, folding and putting away laundry, sweeping the floors, washing the floors, washing the cupboards, driving, constructing travel plans and routes.. if this is the only video you've ever seen then of course you're not getting a full picture of their relationship. Even if you have watched all of their videos, you'd still absolutely not have the full picture of their relationship.

What an eye opener this video has been. Amazing countryside and these people are living better in their vans than on the streets. Love you guys!

thank for the advice, we'll try that!
Or a aluminum tray full of charcoal will absorb the moisture
Great parking job in the city!
I recently started full-time RV life in a class C, and parking can be an adventure!
I am enjoying your channel.
Cheers!
Thanks for the video. Spring has arrived and it's only going to get better. Look forward to your adventures.
Cheers Larry

I grew up in Kelowna, it was sleepy then, not any longer! All of BC is amazing but glad you're going there 😀 I love seeing it.
Hit up The Hatch or Crown & Thieves for some vino when you get to Kelowna - safe journey!

You need a dehumidifier to keep the moisture down in RV. Just a floor or tabletop portable one.
I just found your. channel today, and I am looking forward to the adventures to come.
Bear is adorable with his birthday hat.!!

STOP putting baking soda down the RV drains, it turns into a worse clog than the original clog you are trying to fix.
