The song was fitting. But i think it really stands out after you beat the game. You hear it and the tone of the song is very similar to the tone of the game: eerie but strangely calming, almost like your turning into one of the monsters in the game

Because development on games has more care put to it than movies. Nowadays movies are low-budget because they're trying to limit that budget as well as trying to sell it to people much more easily.

The game is the thing meant to make money. Not the music. The music is meant to enhance the game, and set the tone. The atmosphere. The music in a game has a purpose. Sometimes that alone is enough to make an artist really give it their all. If the music wasn't specifically meant for the game, it's usually chosen because it enhances the game. And usually, they don't choose things the player has already heard.
Because as Misaka Mikoto said - the music in a game is meant to enhance shit. It's a lot harder to paint a picture in a song without vocals, than it is to have lyrics that spells everything out for you. To me, orchestration and instrumental will always be the most superior form of music, because music itself speaks more volumes than any words could. So when composers for such music make songs to really pull an audience member in, they generally do a way better job at captivating and portraying the emotions or the atmosphere of a place/scene/etc with only the simple sound of music for the viewers/players to experience. It's really amazing - extraordinary, actually.
Dont forget its a japanese game.They usually pay attention to music.

Luís Mesquita Oh hell no! I've tried Akumu mode and it's a one hit kill. I barely made past chapter 4. And I must have already died a 100 times. So I quit. The survival mode in this game is equal to hard mode and akumu is equal to very hard. Did you beat the game in akumu?

Josh Brolin killed it as Sebastian. He actually co wrote the scene with the chainsaw monster at the start of the game and said it was based on a nightmare he had about being chased through an abandoned building.

I know that this game came out three years ago, but i just played the entire game. Tbh its a very difficult game, and I feel like this song does a great job at making you say, " damn, i just went through all that shit". I was planning on doing a Akuma playthrough and beat it. I beat the second game on classic mode, but i know that this game will be a hell lot harder.
The ending was shite tho :( that boss fight was just stupid

Perfect lyrics, perfect tone and I love how they only play the first verse in the intro and once you hear the song in the credits and you feel the shift of power when the chorus comes on for the first time and those violins coming in in full power ...just no words, absolute art!

@@TheEvilWithinFan I thought both games were poorly written, I followed next to nothing in the first game aside from ruvik and Laura got burnt by villagers and now ruvik is a crazy bastard, second game was more straight forward but still weirdly written.
Both have enjoyable moments, neither were really that scary, had scary moments yes but overall package wasn't scary.
I still love Tango and I think they make great games, haven't beat ghost wire yet, took a break from it for a little it because it gets sort of repetitive but presentation and lore is fun, really like the dumb tanukis hiding around 😂, Ghost wire is slightly better written and it started life as Evil within 3 (hope we still see that) but turned into its own thing kinda like how devil may cry started as RE4 but was just too different.
