** My hand was kind of shaky when I originally filmed this so when I uploaded it I let RUclips stabilize it thats why the video looks so wavy.**
This is the latest project Ive been working on. Its a Bendron Titan cargo trailer that I converted into a stealth camper. I didn't want to go out and just buy a pop-up or travel trailer, I wanted something more low key and something that I could design to fit my needs. So i picked up this 2012 12x6 cargo trailer for just under $3,000 and started coverting it. I started by silver sealing the roof then I coated the entire chasis and under carriage with rust-o-leum brand undercoating. As far as insulation I began by removing all the plywood panels from the walls and ceiling then I glued Dow rigid foam insluation to the back of the panels in between the beams. Then I put strips of JM R-19 fiberglass insulation ontop of the rigid foam. Finally, I sealed everything in place with sheets of 10mil vapor barrier and screwed the plywood panels back in place. I also used Tight Seal window flashing tape to cover all the seams of the plywood panels. Then I began finishing the inside esthetically and installing the water and electrical system. I had fun building this camper and definately learned a lot from this project. cargo trailer camper conversion
