- This is a walk through of my 2007 8x16 Pace cargo trailer that i converted to a camper/toy hauler with most amenities found in a conventional camp trailer.

I have been in construction 22 years, and home builders cannot even match the precision an thinking compared to all you put into this. Absolutely incredible! you could surely make one heck of a living doing these everyday.

I've been working the rv industry since '89 and this has to be one of the best cargo trailer conversions I've seen.

I thought so to. Get the toy hauler capacity without actually sacrificing a bed to sleep on. I'm curious as how much weight it can support.

The problem is, this probably took a decent amount of time and cost a lot to make it that nice so at the end of the day this is a diy project or you could take your money and buy a name brand camping trailer. By the time you paid this guy to convert yours into something like this you could have probably just bought an actual trailer since your savings would go to him in the labor.
@@AlecBig This is a far superior product to what you call "an actual trailer". It should command a higher price than a travel trailer.
At first look, I thought it was another build that passed on the bathroom shower. I was happy to see one in there! Awesome set up! Everything you need to live in it if you wanted to!

That is without a doubt the best cargo/camper conversion/toy hauler I have seen. Have been checking out several as I would like to do on that will haul my Can Am as well as provide comfortable camping. You hit this one out of the park.

After reading more I see you a custom cabinet maker, that's cool. That source gave you the exact skills for that sort of thing. Wish you were in Texas. I'd consider helping you financially for a coversion business. My self have been in interior commercial finish out and carpentry for years. But have recently moved into the tech industry. You should be very proud of what you've accomplished, well deserved attention should be paid to your abilities. Brain you deserve it.
Ron Perkins just move to Utah lol. I really appreciate the attention my trailer has recieved. For as long as I can remember I've always loved creating things unique and useful. I enjoy building these trailers because they become my blank canvas and allows me to express my creativity. I've always been a perfectionist though not perfect i try really hard to be lol. Dude I normally never comment on videos but let me just say as another avid camper who spent tons of money on campers you Rock. I have seen a lot of hacked up conversions but this is the first one I have seen that I would be proud to own. My standards are very high and for you to have exceeded my expectations in a camper that's saying something. Anyone who knows me will say I am extremely picky. You Sir have outdone the camping manufactures themselves. I give you a huge thumbs up. Awesome just freaking Awesome!!!

And one of the main things I tried to focus on was the accessibility of anything that might need service or maintenance at some point anywhere there is a wire connection, plumbing, and propane line . Gorgeous conversion. Love how spacious it feels. Most campers, motorhomes and caravans always seem so cramped. This one looks like you could park a bus in it. Especially love the huge (compared to normal ones) shower room. Very talented guy. Well done and thanks for sharing.

iIhave been scouring RUclips and watching all kinds of video's on conversions - this is SO professional! You did a fantastic job on this, it is much nicer than the Attitude toy hauler I used to have. So many good ideas - thank you!
This is the cleanest build I have ever seen, and I've watched hundreds of hours worth of tiny builds. This is clean, but not sterile to the point where it feels like it has little charm or character to it. It looks durable, well thought-out, but homely still. Honestly as @Sara Ellman said below, if you aren't already designing, you should be. This is the best design i've seen yet, and probably ever will do. Good job.

I have watched so many of these videos and nobody even comes close to the craftsmanship on this one. Nuts. My only criticism is the name of the video... Can you add "toy hauler" to the title so people know what they're looking at?
But that is what it's called; an 'enclosed cargo trailer'.
This is one of the best convention trailers that I have seen done. Looks better than production units! You should be extremely proud of your amazing craftsmanship!

@@Brianrogers86 I 100% believe you could sell the cabinets in parts that can just screw together after the person receives them. I think when people buy these trailers that is probably the hardest part for them. Its not hard to find someone to do small electrical jobs for a reasonable price and plumbing is not as hard as it looks with an uncomplicated layout, flooring is not real complicated to lay and the wood you cut for your walls could be replaced with typical indoor wood siding for someone with less wood/painting skills but cabinetry and the bed lift are something that would require more tools than most people have. That is where companies such as yours would offer a great service.
Bang up job on this build out, better than any commercial builder out there.

I currently own a factory made toyhauler ( my second one ) and your little trailer is just awesome. When you pointed out the location of the climate controls being by the bed, I was like, BOOM! I hate getting up on a cold night to get to the controls. All the attention to detail, wow. The cutting board, the collapsible table with the boat style cup holders. Great job man!

Victor Boucher Thank you! I really appreciate that. I actually forgot to mention the insulation in the video. But i used a combination of XPS and polyiso insulation. The polyiso I believe has R-6 value per inch and the xps R-5
Oh and as for weight. Last time I weighed it was 4500lb but I've added a few things since. Probably closer to 4800 dry

@@susananderson1071 I used a combination of polyiso and XPS I believe the polyiso has an r value of 6 per inch and XPS is 5 per inch. Without any of my labor I've spent around 8500 plus the 4500 on the trailer.

WOW!!! You did an amazing job on this trailer. Love the stain color on the walls, cabinets, lighting, storage box, and all the thought you put into it. Looks professionally done. We used your wheel channel idea on our bed but did it on all 4 corners.

That is the best looking and most throughly designed conversion I've ever seen...it's on par if not better than any of the units the major manufacturers build...your attention to detail is incredible
This is by far, one of the best Trailer Conversions that has been done. Use of every spot available, with a top notch design. The pull down bed, thats up and out of the way till you need it. It goes up and down with little effort. Thats a big plus. The little fold down table with cup holders. Spice rack inserted in an area at the nose of trailer where you utilized a few extra inches of the curve, wow!!! The bathroom, is just fantastic as the Kitchen area. This trailer would set you apart from the rest of the trailer conversions. It is the Bomb. I would love one. Great Job!!
