    5:15 Warning... those clear flips are a terrible way to store coins for any significant length of time (1 year or more) because they have chemicals that cause PVC damage to the coin. A collector might temporarily store their coins in them, forget about them, and return years later to find their coins ruined. The paper 2x2s shown are excellent.

    Hi, great video! I just started storing my coins properly, but I am not sure which brands to buy supplies from. My main problem is to avoid PVC or any toxic chemicals that can ruin the coin overtime (already ruined some...). can you guys give some suggestions for trustable vendors, or companies on Amazon maybe?

    I have the tubes and capsules from airtite but luckily perth mint stuff generally comes in capsules already. You look super organised with those tubes 👍

    What do I need to get me on the fast track? I've been saving my change and want to put it in the bank, but before I do, I want to check them to see if they are a collectors item. I don't know anything about collecting. Is there a list of the top collectable coins in circulation?

    • @willstreasures7986
      @willstreasures7986  3 года назад +5

      Well any quarter or dime pre 1965 will be worth keeping since they are 90% silver. Then you have the 2019 and 2020 quarters with a W mint Mark which if you find is worth $10 a piece. Otherwise with common change you could look for mint errors that could be valuable. You want to also pull all of your wheat back pennies. 1909 to 1958. Hope this helps. Definitely pick up a red book

    • @willstreasures7986

      If it’s in spectacular condition. Never in circulation it would be worth $1 to a collector. Anything quarters minted 1964 or before was made from 90% silver. Those are the coins you want to find. Even in rough condition they would be a $6 coin depending on the year.
