I love reading the classics too! Picture of Dorian Gray is one of my favorites. Curious how you chose these particular classics? You should read Travels with Charley - I see you mention Steinbeck on more than one video
I adore Jane Eyre, My Antonia, and The Age of Innocence. Calling Austen crusty and dusty. 😂 That got me. Love that you loved The Bell Jar, a book that I struggled with.
I loved The Age of Innoncence. Wharton's House of Mirth is also great but not nearly as good imo. And I agree Thomas Hardy is like a Victorian soap opera. I've read Far from the Madding Crowd and Jude, the Obscure. I would recommend EM Forster and Kingsley Amis.
Hi 👋 A question for you , what is your all time favorite book ?. I dont have one , reading isnt a great passion of mine. I 'm passionate about music and im a movie buff. I saw the film Midas Man about Brian Epstein the Beatles manager. Very sad movie . I think he committed suicide , although his death was said to be of an accidental overdose. He was a gay man . Excellent movie to see if you are interested.

From "Jane Eyre" and beyond the pictures stop appearing :( Still gonna push through, thanks for the video.
Thank for letting me know! I’ll see if I can fix it and reupload 😎

Ohhhhh favorite of all time. Hard question but I think I’d say The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt.
