@@ara_orion 1000000000000% will. Even though I like that the Pulitzer can be very random sometimes. But I think there’s no way they could give it to anything else. Did you read Night Watch?
Greetings from Edinbuurra 🏴 (Edinburgh) - I adored MY FRIENDS and remember the political incident in London very clearly. After reading this book, I bought several more Hisham Matar's back catalogue 😊 I also adored JAMES - have read it twice and will definitely read again. Percival Everett is incredibly talented - have read several of his books and wish to delve into more ❤ 📚
Oh thank you #Edinburgh 🏴 The Trees is such a phenomenal read.. ...humour mixed with horrific atrocities but not the least offensive. Very clever man. 😊
Valid frickin point regarding short stories and how to consume them …… I think I’m going to approach them differently henceforth & read a story periodically rather than all in one go like i would a Novel. Blahdiggityblah ty 📚🪱💚
@@spexi513 I’m really not vibing with Ghoostroots (I’ve made a little further since this video). My favorite short story collection I’ve read this year is Interpreter of Maladies by Jhumpa Lahiri.
Here's hoping James wins the Pulitzer next year 💫💫

I’m with you - James has Pulitzer written all over it imo ; it’s like a new American Classic , an essential upgrade of a former one
@ it’s been a few years since we gotten something like it! Very exciting 😎

@@lindylouwho550 I think I’ll read the Trees next. I was in Edinburgh last summer and loved it so much. What a beautiful city.
