    I really like this. I've been working on something similar in my setup. I noticed your desk camera is offset from your monitor but when you showed the angle you're nice and centered. Do you push yourself over and have the monitor on your left when you're shooting that angle?

    • @KevinKolbe
      @KevinKolbe  5 месяцев назад

      Appreciate that. I've seen some of your pics on X/Twitter and love your space.
      Re: the offset, yep. I tried the monitor and camera centered, with camera over the monitor but didn't like the angle pointing down so much. Plus, depending on what I had on the monitor, the glare in the glasses was at times bad. So put it off center and simply slide over. Took a bit to get used to it, now it's just what I do.

    Really great setup, man 😮 thanks for sharing. Can you please share your workflow for talking head videos? Are you recording the video into the camera and sound somehow separately and then synchronizing it somehow? Or are you using some software, which uses a camera as a webcam? If you need to share some actions on screen, how do you add it? I'm on my way to content creation, want it to look as much good as I can :) and your content looks really professional.

    • @KevinKolbe
      @KevinKolbe  4 месяца назад +1

      Appreciate the comment! Great questions too! The very short answer is I do a combination of things when recording - straight to camera, straight to computer, audio into camera, audio synced in post, etc. Let me kick around how to share that in a video. Thank you!

    Your videos are excellent! I only found you in YT 2 weeks ago. How would you set up the office, camera, etc. for someone teaching crocheting? The camera, i believe should be at the top to film the hands movement specially when crocheting "amigurumi" which is more involved form of crochet. Thank you.
