  • If you've been in the beauty section of Target lately, you may have seen these Dashing Diva nail polish strips that claim to last up to 14 days. I questioned that claim, so I bought a pack and put them to the test! Keep watching to see how these nail polish strips applied, if they give a salon quality gel manicure, how long they lasted on my nails, and my full review on this $7 product.

That color pallet is one of my favorites. I bought mine at Walmart and they stayed on until I had to take them off because my nails grew out too much. I used them 3 years ago then recently found the leftovers and used them again. Still stayed on over 3 weeks. I do rough up my nails slightly with a nail file for better adhesion or in case I have oils on my nails. while my nails are short I also cut the strips in half so I can use it for two nails. Normally nail polish never lasts on my nails, more than a couple of days, not matter what I do. I have used top coat and base coat. Using the oil to remove them is a great idea! I will try that.

Excellent review. Very thorough, and I loved the close-ups you took of the finished manicure. You had great suggestions. I was thinking don’t just peel them like the box says. And then you brought out the oil, and I was like, “She’s got this.” I bought a couple packages of the Gloss strips and will be trying them soon. I also got a bottle of Seche Vive to try and achieve that gel manicure look. We’ll see how it goes. Thanks for the great tutorial.

Best photos/detail/angles shown~ finally! So grateful to you, as I can't seem to find anyone showing OR explaining the minutia I find critical when reviewing such things. Plus, your nails are nearly identical in shape to mine, so it's a good look at how they will lay/fit.
My nails are also peely, which is why I considered using these wraps to begin with- to help strengthen them.
So far, I've only done these twice~ once w/"ColorStreet", which didn't last a week & they were fairly thin. I also tried "ToughGirls" brand, & had really good longevity w/them. They are thicker, which some people do not like~ I do. I also used my glass file to smooth out the edges that were snaggy near the cuticle, as they grew out.
That being said, I'm still very new to these, so I don't want to rush to judge the ColorStreet either. I've noticed the glitter ones tend to be more forgiving, thicker of course, & don't show the 'oops' or wrinkles easily, etc.
Excellent review Sharana~THANK YOU!🙋‍♀️ Samantha in AZ

*Forgot to mention~ I used a base & a top coat both times I used the wraps, which did seem to cut down on the chipping & peeling of polish.
It also really kept any of my nails underneath from breaking, minus my "problem child" right thumb. Typically, I would have had at least 3-4 actual nail breaks/splits in two weeks time~ so I count that a win also🎈🤸‍♀️

Definitely going to try this brand. I used some amazon strips they were very thin but they did work. I never knew about these type of strips and thanks for the thorough review and testing!

Thanks for your video! I am using these now but I keep getting bubbles on the edges. So I was looking at videos to learn how to do a better application. I think I like the strips better than the press on nails but like you said, you do need to practice in order to perfect the technique.

I have really thin nails that easily bend and even just running my hands through my hair tears my fingernails. I have to keep them short. They look like Frankenstein nails with fingernail polish. I got a pack of these..don't have beautiful long nails. I put them on my short fingernails. Did u have healthy nails prior to application? I thought u looked like u had lovely nails before u applied the stickers. Were the stickers the cause of ur fragile broken nails?
