If I get wrinkles at the side it's usually if my hands and/or the wraps are cold. Now I keep them warm on a heated pad, but if the wrinkles appear I find that if I rub them with a finger to get some heat/friction, they disappear. Thanks for your vlog, such a pity I cannot get those brands shipped to France from the USA. Jo in France 🇫🇷 X
No, these are actually gel strips that harden over the nail like a sticker, but they aren't made to be extensions. Hope that answers your question. Thanks so much for watching! ♥ Jenny
I appreciate your support always! These are a fun option to try out, too! I love changing my manicure every 2 days so these last way longer than that! Hahaha! ♥ Jenny
May I ask which brand of top coat you used? I know some of them tend to cause a bit of shrinkage. I also recently learned that you may get more longevity by waiting several hours- or overnight- before applying your top coat over the applied wraps. It gives the wraps a chance to "settle in", expand & contract a bit & so forth. Also, I've seen that the rubber tipped cuticle pshers can help smooth out wrinkles while applying.
@@JennyStone Awesome~ thanks Jenny! I've definitely experienced shrinkage w/Seche Vite over regular nail polish~ but I love the stuff, so I deal w/it. =)
I like the nails besides the wrinkles on the sides of the nail and I'm still trying to figure out how to get them to where they don't wrinkle like that
Thank you for sharing! The strips I got are not the ones that need to be cured so I just followed the instructions for these. But they do have others that are Glaze and need to be cured with a lamp. ♥ Jenny
@@JennyStone oh cool. I didn't know that.. I think mi l my wife was gonna get those. But I told her no. Cuz she didn't have a lamp.. I guess I'll have to surprise her and get them. Lol
Thank you so much! I try to protect my nails from soaking in water as much as possible by wearing gloves. I apply cuticle oil all day every day! It's my addiction, but I know it's really good for my nails and cuticles, too! And try to always have my nails polished even if it's just a few coats of base coat to keep them protected! Hope that helps! ♥ Jenny
Hi Jenny, Did it hurt at all, or irritate your nail bed when you peeled them off? I tried press-ons, and they looked pretty good but it was a huge pain removing them and soaking in acetone (which can't be healthy) so I'm going to try these. Thanks for sharing this info.
Hi Alison! Thank you so much for watching! Although it didn't hurt when I peeled that 1 nail off, I personally prefer to remove these by applying cuticle oil all over my fingertips, then placing a small piece of cotton (soaked in acetone) directly over each nail and cover them with a clip. Afer a few minutes, I just remove and wipe off with a clean papertowel. Then wash my hands with soap. In the past, when I have peeled up other products, I find I can accidentaly peel up thin layers of my nail and I find the acetone works quickly and makes it easier for me. Hope that helps! ♥ Jenny
Thank you so much for sharing this tip with us! I've only tried using my silicone tip tool which is very flexible because I don't have a rubber tip cuticle pusher, but it sounds like a great tool to use! ♥ Jenny
Hi! They recommend using their "Red Therapy Base Seal Treatment for Gloss to protect and strengthen natural nails before application..." but it's not required. 0:54 I used my own base coat and it worked just fine, but they can be applied directly over dry clean nails. ♥ Jenny
If your natural nails are short, you might be able to cut the strips in half and use the other half of each strip on the opposite hand. I've done it with other nail strips but haven't tried with these because my nails are too long. ♥ Jenny
Oh wow! I know most products don't work exactly the same on everyone, but 5 hours is not that much time at all. Did you use a base coat or just apply them directly to your clean nails? ♥ Jenny
@@JennyStone I know I was so sad bc the designs are so cute that I got and they were a good price! I applied directly after buffing my nail and using the wipe that came included in the package

Rubber tip cuticle pusher helps smooth out the wrinkles when applying.
FYI. There's a lamp that comes with a kit.. to harden the gel strip..

Try using a rubber tip cuticle pusher to smooth down the strips over your nails.
