Wowwwww, a nail polish lacquer NOT having acetone in it 😂😂😂😂 Two of the higher end brands that I used at my first job was Butter Londontown and Kur (lac-kur) they were both something like 9/13 free polishes. The place I worked at charged extra for the higher end polishes, so they were hardly ever used. Sometimes they'd be shady and not tell about the upcharge (it was a $5 upcharge)

I got BGS kids & the banana brand. The latter is going back & my kids are g2g.

It’s a color you find in Asia where they pretend black people weren’t there first. From India to Australia they were considered Melanesian when I went to Fiji and Samoa I saw my family. Looked like I was from there lol

i bought the 30 spf and its great no mask. so i go buy the 50spf omg white mask alert and i am fair skin black girl. stay away from 50spf go for the kids version. just saying...

I so wish I had seen this before my purchases. I totally agree with you on the make it hybrid's mineral white cast. I was able to get it to fade a little by doing the full application 10 minutes apart and putting a little regular lotion on, but it's not worth the hassle. Glad I also got the kids version, so it will be my go to when I travel. Thanks for this review though ^-^

Love the video. Do you have other sunscreen recommendations for dark oily/dehydrated skin. I have tried BGS and the regular/kids version is a little too oily for me. I have dabbled in Asian sunscreen but I am unsure of whether they are actually effective (I seem to get darker when using them, even after reapplication). Any sunscreen recommendations are appreciated (Asian or non).

I feel you! I'm pale olive and it's impossible to find a shade that matches me. I have to mix in green color corrector and white foundation for every foundation I've ever tried (over 100).

We clearly see that the kids version leaves less of a cast? Or is it because the non-kids one is thicker?

When you're rubbing that much you're not rubbing it in anymore, you're rubbing it out onto your hand and disrupting the protective layer. It's better to apply multiple thin uniform layers than one goopy uneven layer.

The kids version doesn't burn my eyes and is 7 dollars cheaper.

Is there a difference between kids' sunscreen and adults' sunscreen? I only noticed that it usually has less fragrance.

I love the DD semi-cured strips! Thanks for this vid! I bought the starter kit in Hot Tamale and kept them on about 10 days before getting bored w/the color. I also painted over them with my regular Essie and Sally Hansen, later removing the color with non-acetone nail polish remover. They would have definitely lasted longer if I had let them lol. After finding two more boxes at Walgreens on clearance (Abstract Ivy and Cheeful Cheetah), I had to get on google to do some more research. I hit the motherload at TJ Maxx and found some DD Bare Collection (True Mint, Latte Love and Blue Salt) and I'm in love. I can finally do my nails quickly, giving them some protection without doing a full on gel manicure or my fave, the silk wrap, which takes much longer for me to do.

Yup!! I actually figured out my shade by watching an Indian lady… I realized that I was her complexion, but it looked different on me because she had black hair and my hair is brown.

They have a deeper shade called ‘deep’

I’ve tried these for the first time and I’ve had them on a week now and still looking perfect!! I’m in my pool every day doing dishes daily. I love these no more salons for me!!😄😄😄😁😁😁
