- Bringing you another nail review: this time, it's the Dashing Diva Glaze gel nail polish strips. These claim to give gel-strong nails that are chip-proof, scratch-resistant, and last up to 14 days, so I put those claims to the test!

I’ve tried these for the first time and I’ve had them on a week now and still looking perfect!! I’m in my pool every day doing dishes daily. I love these no more salons for me!!😄😄😄😁😁😁
Your real nails look healthier after to me. Thank you for the review.
Your video is the one that made me pull the trigger and buy these. Thank you! Excellent video!!!
Thank you for this video! I have a set of Dashing Diva in my drawer that I am going to use this weekend!! I hope they turn out as good as yours did!!
Thank you, I learned alot, love that you explained each step, since I am new to press on. Thanks again
I love the DD semi-cured strips! Thanks for this vid! I bought the starter kit in Hot Tamale and kept them on about 10 days before getting bored w/the color. I also painted over them with my regular Essie and Sally Hansen, later removing the color with non-acetone nail polish remover. They would have definitely lasted longer if I had let them lol. After finding two more boxes at Walgreens on clearance (Abstract Ivy and Cheeful Cheetah), I had to get on google to do some more research. I hit the motherload at TJ Maxx and found some DD Bare Collection (True Mint, Latte Love and Blue Salt) and I'm in love. I can finally do my nails quickly, giving them some protection without doing a full on gel manicure or my fave, the silk wrap, which takes much longer for me to do.
Fabulous explanations! Thank you so much! 💕
I really appreciate your review of this product. Your review is the most authentic and real review I have seen. Also, your nails are like mine with the peeling and issues which was super helpful for me. Thank you.😊
Thank you so much!
Wow! They lasted well! Definitely goingbto try these out.
Awesome review. Thank you for doing this 💜
You helped me apply the glaze properly. Thanks
Awesome review! Thank you.
Great review! Super helpful to see that your nails weren't perfectly clear before you applied. I feel like I'm prepping mine til they're bruised! Yours lasted so well- looked great
Good review, thanks, I may actually try these
Awesome video!!
That is a great review, thank you!! I have square, straight nail beds too on my thumbs lol appreciate that tip about trimming ahead of time!
Great review! Good tips on removal. I think one end of the strip is more square than other end.
These gel glaze are awesome! I'm loving mine!
Great video! Thank you for the review🙌🏼
You're welcome! Hope it helped!
Great review! I just used the glaze strips for the first time and I was very concerned about removal. So, I really appreciate your video for those instructions.
Funny I just tried these nail strips this week to see if I would like them as well. I used to do dips but I think they are very harsh on the nails. I went back to normal nail polish for a while to try and have my nails recover a little. Then I was trying the regular Dashing Diva nail strips and found them to be very easy to apply and heck they stayed put for over 3 weeks! So now I am trying these ones that you need the UV lamp on and I must say they look very nice! Almost like I had gel nails done professionally at a salon! Like you I want to test to see how long they will last on and also how hard they are to then take off. With the normal nail strips, I just apply acetone with a cotton ball and they wipe off. I have a feeling these will be a bit harder to get off. Thanks for your review! Very well done! ~Life According to Maria ~ 😃
Great job and your nails turned out beautifully. I simply apply a light coat of clear polish or a top coat to mine to maintain the shine and combat it getting matte with time and wear. Thanks for your review.
Great review!
Lol love the Jagged Edge reference, because that’s literally what I thought in my head!
Great review, just bought and tried, after 1 week right hand chipped. I had a horrible time getting off.
Your nails look great!!! With regular polish, I barely get a couple of days.
My nails are like that too. Always peeling and breaking. I tried these Glaze strips for the first time a week ago. Still looking just as good as the day I put them on.
Great review and gorgeous color on you. I am a new subscriber! For both these and the regular polish strips, I do suggest a top coat (I'd do a no cure top for the regular strips and a no wipe gel top for the semi cured) and definitely cap your free edges. Also, a top coat will seal in the sides where the natural nail is and keep the polish (or gel) from lifting.
So I didn't have a proper orange stick. I used the wedged plastic end of a cuticle cutter. Started with olive oil 👎. Then tried acetone but because my wedge was non-absorbent 👎. Soooooo, I tried Goo Gone. Pretty decent results 👍. I've gotta get the orange sticks. The tug on the nailbed is real!! I feel and see what appears to be glue residue --- or is it shaved layers off my nail bed 🙄 Getting into shower with a nail brush. Like you, while wearing, my nails grew like hotcakes!! Love this fresh, slick option to polish!!
Great video. Your left hand looked great but for me the chips on your right hand would drive me nuts. I just bought three DD glaze packs and a gel cure top coat made for the UV strips. Trying to give it the best shot possible. I’ve been using Impress press on’s up to now with no additional glue just relying on the pre applied adhesive tabs and for me they have worked really well, but I have been careful about using gloves when in water (dishwashing, cleaning, showering). My hope is that the glaze strips will wear as well. This video is very helpful. Thanks again for sharing.
Great video I used a product called dashing diva red therapy remove magic off. They came off nicely. You get two bottles for about $7 from Walgreens.
excellent advice, I bought the same product a few nights ago.
Another great review. Maybe try Ohora next?
I used artificial nail remover and they came off pretty good without damage. Dashing diva calls theirs magic off.
If you want a little tip for the regular nail strips. You can encapsulate them but applying a gel top coat and sticking your hands under a small uv lamp. This will make them last. The ones that you demonstrated in this video are a great concept but they just don’t last on me. They definitely will not last if you apply a cuticle oil. They will pop off with in a few minutes if you apply oil . Thank you so much for your review.
Hmmmm. That's interesting that they didn't last. Once I work through these gloss strips, I'll try the glaze with gel top coat as you recommend 😉
They lasted three hours 😢 I will try a gel coat next time to see if that works better
Sorry they didn't last on you! I know they're not for everyone. The gel top coat is a good idea if they don't last on their own
Loved the J.E. pop in😂! They're one of my fav groups- still bumping that album💿..
glad someone noticed it! 😂
I have wide nails and often the sticker polish never fits :( I really want to try this
Surprised that Target had anything gel nail related.. they've went all boho on nails lately-vegan and such.. I don't really shop there anymore except for house decor.
I understand not to use cuticle oil while you have them on but can i still use hand lotion, etc?
I do! I use oils too and just know that the product might not last as long, but I'd rather keep my hands and nails moisturized
I cured them without taking the top layer off 😳
Collagen powder supplement helped my hair and nails so much. They are still not perfect but much much better.
i use organic collagen (5 types in one powder)
ancient nutrition multi collagen protein powder
I didn’t know there was a clear coat on top.
Did you use your own light for the nails or use the one for the brand?
I used my own, I don't have their lamp yet
Glaze verse gloss? Which do you recommend?
I think they're both good, but I liked glaze better. If you don't mind using the lamp to cure them, glaze strips held up better and gave my nails more strength
I cannot get the clear backing off 😭
Do not use the nail oil they will fall off immediately
Great review! ✨️🫶🏼💚 I just got mine in today and can't wait to try them after my Dashing Diva Gloss Gel ones grow out a bit. 🥰🥰
Great review!
