Thank you for sharing and teaching this. I am starting one now! New baby girl coming to the extended family - a granddaughter😊. I am using a variegated pink color and so far (after 3 rows) it looks great!! 👍
I used a light weight 3 yarn but you can use any weight yarn want as long as the hook and yarn match. The overall size of the blanket will very due to the different size yarn.
I am on the process of almost completing this chevron blanket, but can you show how to make straight border for this, a tutorial would be of great help, thanks
I love this really I do but I do not ch3 use as a stich I have learned you don't have to just vh1 turn and go into 1 st chain and no gap and you will do 5 as u did at each end I kept thinking this is not the way I want to do a afghan I finally found where u can eliminate ch2 or ch3 just at beginning of second roll ch1 go in first stich no more worrying about ch3 sides are very straight I thought a thought about it and finally did it and it is gorgeous on my afghan but I honestly have not done a chevron but with your tutorial I will be using your tutorial for the chevron but elimating ch3 I will do one extra foundation chain and turn it really works everybody has thete own way and I understand it but it made it easier for me so no stich markers and very straight sides but I fid use a stich marker for last row before changing colors this I cannot wait to try it
Cool. As you probably already know the size of the blanket will be different. The multiple is 10+3 so you really can make your blanket any size you want. I would love to see it. If you want you can join my Facebook group to post pictures. Ninja Bunny Crochet Chat.
The multiple is 10+3. You chain the width you want in multiples or sets of 10 than add 3 more chains. Crib blankets are usually 40x60, receiving blankets are 40x40. The length is determined by the number of rows you make.
I guess I didnt follow well enough, my end of row 1 is not the same as your swatch. I am doing the whole 193 . I end up doing chain 2, 4 DC then only have 3 stitches remaining
If you have not frogged it yet, try counting back over the row. Maybe you missed a stitch. You can frog back to the missed stitch and not have rework the entire row.
I counted back and found the stitch that I missed and it is working perfectly now. Thank you again for the tutorial. I am very new to crochet and your demonstration was perfect and easy for me to understand and gave me a little confidence

Good tips. I recently discovered how to not use ch.3, and end up with the gaps at the side.
Thanks for the tips. 🥷🐰🧶
Is Thére a way to make a ribing around to finish it…?
Good job of illustrating. I don't think you told us the finished size if we started with 193 chains.
38x48
I will be using 4 ply and possibly 5 chunky

At the beginning could I change to the size I want as I want to do 60cmx60cm?
Yep. You were just need to adjust the starting chain length
Do you have written I structions?

Did you use two full balls? If doing one color, is one ball @ 1000 yards enough?
I used most of both balls. I would estimate between 1600 to 1800 yards.
❤❤
How many chains would I use for a receiving or crib blanket?

Where can I find the pattern. The link does not take me to it and couldn’t locate it on your Etsy page.

It is hard to find info for Left handers
Agreed. Unfortunately I am not a lefty.
Just put in your search bar left handed crochet, you can put 1 or 2 row repeat pattern too, there are loads to make , good luck😊
Thank you!! That is great information!!
4.37 I would have preferred your swatch to be a bit bigger. I couldn't remember the different bits.
