I've seen people complain a lot about Hokma suppression but I also thought it was one of the chillest effects, as what really does test you is your patience, self-control and ability to plan ahead. It does not require crazy micro like gebura, or is as heavily rng-based as chesed, not to mention it is much kinder than binah. If you do not roll a violet midnight it can be one of the easiest as long as you know how to manage your facility properly. Also, the confrontation against Hokma before the suppression when you just keep standing your ground as the clock ticks faster and faster is one of my favorite moments in the story of Lobcorp. As for the story I've noticed a trend with the meltdowns: The upper sephirah all meltdown due to a past trauma boiling over and lashing out their emotions towards others. The middle sephirah all meltdown because they are rebelling against the manager, wanting to see a change on how things are handled. The lower sephirah all meltdown not out of dissatisfaction, but rather as a way to try to test if the manager really has what is needed to move onwards. I also like that the lower sephirah's seed of light quotes reference the subtitle of the game "Face the fear (Eye facing the fear, breaking the cycle), build the future (the eye embracing the past, building the future)" Really makes me appreciate Project Moon's care for their themes. Now the stage is set, have good luck on those last five days, keep persevering and you'll end up seeing the light at the end of the tunel!
THAT CONFRONTATION WAS SO COOL It definitely has to be one of my favorite moments as well. This suppression just felt so good, it was so simple but so GOOD I really liked it. Of course, like the ones where you fight the Sephriah, oh yeah, those were cool, but for some reason, just the music, the strange feeling, time moving faster as you approach the end, I just love it. I won't give it my absolute favorite but 100% up there until I decide if I wanna do a concrete list. I like how the end Sephirah are a test to see if you are ready for what's to come since we are coming upon the hardest moments of lobotomy corporation. I noticed that part at the end also thats nice that the two end sephriah have those as their quotes. Project moon really has an amazing story here, and I am so excited to see more and the conclusion of this one. Thank you for the luck! I hope I'll be able to make it.
The thing with Hokma suppression is that it would be bad enough if you couldnt pause But it lets you pause at the cost of your nuggets dying But because youre so far into the game, you have already internalized pausing as much as you can I had to remove my space key from the Keyboard

0:48 Many ordeals may appear at be at that spot for 1 frame (it's at 0,0) 0:59 The reason that they jump in is that EGO gift acquisition happens before an abnormalities end of work ability (in Singing Machine's case, where it check the employee's Fort level). It's a rather silly bug. (I have fixed it in my mod by moving EGO gift acquisition to after everything else) Each of the 2 Amber Midnights can only spawn 6 (at least I think it's 6) Dusks (suppressing a Dusk does not let a new Dusk spawn), and after that they no longer spawn any Dusks. Also, I agree. "090909090" and "Circle Rombed-Oxygen" are 2 of my favorite tracks in the game. (yes, those are their real names, right at home with the likes of " never frozen bottom flows" and "untitled9877645623413123325")
Ah I remember that happening before! That's funny that ordeals just show up sometimes up there. And UGH YEAH WHY THAT REALLY SUCKS do you have that mod for download? I'd like people to actually get that gift and not die a horrible death directly after that that's so ugh. Oh I thought they would eventually respawn the dusks but if it's more simple like that then I have a lot less to worry about, thankyou for letting me know! Yaku just holds their head, it's throbbing. "Sentinel..." Though after a certain deaths, is this how fragile life is truly, despite their efforts to try to facing forward, they will be lying if they say they aren't scared and is actually want to live also. Their shoulder was patted by Hokma. "It would seem the time is troubling you." Yaku jolted and shaking, Alinia flaps Yaku's cheek to calm. Yaku holding their chest. "It's you grandpa- I mean Mr. Hokma! Hokma!" Hokma looks rather calm about it. "We are all the same in the eyes of the Time itself, so whatever happens is fine even being called as you fit. This is the first time we talked, have we?" Yaku nods. "Yes... I haven't approach you beca-" Hokma knew already. "I reminded of your lost loved one. Uri was it?" Yaku starts to lose their composure. "That-" Hokma reassures them. "The grandchild of light with a companion of light is a bearer of darkness, quite ironically poetic. You been chasing the answer since the beginning." Yaku just bite their lip. "It is true, I wouldn't have already died if it weren't for that stupid of motivation of mine." Hokma sighs. "Is it really from what you are standing now? In fact you are one of the people here with the most desire." Yaku just stay silent and wonders. "Am I deserve such title? I'm not different from the city." Hokma just smiles softly. "As everyone else in this facility, we come from outside in the first place after all. No one can stop the changing flow of time." Yaku did notice people changing inside the facility no matter how gruesome and terrible it might have been. "Jeez, everywhere that reminds me of my grandpa, I can't escape." Hokma with such determined expression. "As people also changes with time, you capture his essence slowly." Yaku calms down now and realize they want to check something first. "Thanks grandpa but I have something to do." Hokma nods. "Go now, Sentinel, do your duty the moment you all step into this place." Yaku waves. "I know!" They immediately went to the grave with full of cakes and one specific chocolate drink. "I'm sorry, I couldn't approach you, I realized I'm a coward than I thought." towards a newest tombstone of troublemakers. They notice on the monitor as they went back, the manager is injured from someone and immediately rushes to the scene.
As the day ended with another completed Core Suppression, Ky simply wandered the hallways wondering what he should do now. Syvvis wasn't annoyed at him for once, simply dancing in the air as it followed him. It was a pretty good day, all things considered. Hod didn't have any tasks, Quennie didn't want to hang out and the Birds were resting. Maybe it was a good time for a nap? Nodding to himself he decided a nap sounded pretty good right about now, when suddenly a cold shiver ran down his spine. Immediately he stopped in his tracks, and looked around confused. Syvvis entranced in its dance didn't notice and bumped into him, instantly becoming annoyed, making a cacophony of noise and repeatedly bumping against his head. Suddenly he heard a couple of bangs some odd floors below. An alarm began to ring out as he rushed to the scene, Justitia in hand. When he arrived he found several dismembered corpses belonging to clerks and caved in Containment doors. "What the...?" Ky stared at the scene before him, looking at all the roaming Abnormalities, when suddenly huge claw marks ran down his arm. Grunting in pain, he simply stared at it in confusion until it hit him, his eyes widening. Quickly freezing the wound, he gave an Agent that just arrived a nod, and Frost Dashed past the Abnormalities to try and find the Manager. Running towards another hallway, its door suddenly opened and a stone-faced Dies Irae walked past him. Seeing the bleeding Manager through the door, he gave Dies a glare and rushed to assist the Manager. "Heya, Manager! You alright?" Grabbing her injured arm he froze the wound to stop the bleeding. "What happened?"
The manager sat there for a moment, like she didn't really know what she was supposed to do at this moment. She didn't really realize where she was until her arm was grabbed by Ky and her wounds frozen over, which gave her a bit of a chill and shiver. She looked to Ky, down to the ground and up to Dies leaving. It took a few moments before she spoke. "Clavis is dead, so Dies... did this." She held up her arms, and she looked around at the hallway stained in blood and the bodies of clerks. She was shocked seeing all of these bodies, her heart beat faster. Something called to her in this moment, she touched the hilt of her blade, which seemed to make her feel more familiarized with this kind of scene. She felt calm in this moment. She looked towards Ky once more, "I'm fine, but we need to deal with this situation. Dies seems like he's done for now, but we need to handle the abnormalities." It was as if all of her emotions took a backseat. She held a straightforward look and knew she had a job to do despite all that has happened in this moment.
Yaku immediately went to the scene with first aid and other things, they start to treat the injury. "Ky, look after manager, I have something to take care of." They head to a certain pathway.
Ky gave Yaku an appreciative nod. "As if I wouldn't have done that anyway." He chuckled, as Yaku took off. Taking a look around Ky estimated the amount of escaped Abnormalities. Most of the corpses seem to be from Dies, there might be around a hallway or two worth of Abno's roaming the facility. The attack was centered around Welfare and Central. Meaning 5 to 10 escapees. Manageable. Standing up, he held his hand out to help the Manager to her feet. "Never had much contact with Dies Irae, but he didn't strike me like someone who would rampage..." Ky looked to the side in shame, his tails hanging limp. "...Not like I can talk." Syvvis bumped against his head, snapping him out of it. Shaking it off the fox gave the Manager a determined look, and unsheathed Justitia and created an Ice dagger in his off-hand. "Most of the Abnormalities are being handled by the others, but it looks like we have visitors." Turning around, he observed as a indescribable lump of mass hobbled its way through the door, followed by a bigger four-legged mass. Ky held his head in pain and looked back at the Manager, seems like she took a huge amount of white damage... Her first real fight against an Abnormality and it had to have been Censored, huh... Glancing at the bramble around her arm, he got an idea. If the gift gives only the halved damage to him, what would happen if he took the entirety of it? ...Or maybe even extra? Would it heal her? Ky sighed and closed his eyes, only one way to find out. She is going to need all the help she can get, and if he died he'll just wake up again... [E.G.O Gift Glacial Selflessness: SP+10, 150% Damage reduction, heal by 50% of Damage taken, Damage given to Abnormality instead.] The bramble suddenly grew tight around the Manager's arm, its frozen thorns growing, piercing her but not hurting. Small wounds appeared on Ky's arm instead. His head pounding from the constant white damage he was receiving, as she healed. "...Let's get this over with as fast as possible... Two people against Censored and its groupies are not good chances. Oh, and don't let it grab you yeah?" Ky took his stance beside the Manager. "Ready?"
"Dies wouldn't bring destruction like this outright- this has become a predicament. But we can handle this." The manager gave Ky a confident but nervous smile. Knowing the place they are in at the moment, there could be a couple of abnormalities that she never wants to encounter in her life. She'd rather keep it that way but there might be no other choice in this situation. She fully unsheathed her blade after she got back up and kept it out close to her. With it in her hands she felt more comfortable with the idea of battle. For the first time, the manager saw what she could not describe in the slightest. It was blobs of meat, but this just defied every rule she thought was put in place for any being she took a massive mental hit, she intensely shivered at the sight that such a creature actually existed in this world. She was getting close to losing her mind at the sheer sight of it. But before she did, her body experienced a change. Her hair changed completely white for a moment. It seemed like a transformation was occurring. But it was stopped in its tracks once Ky upgraded the bramble on her arm. Her body twitched at it sinking deeper into her skin, her hair returned back to its original purple color. Her heart was beating very fast, but she felt like she had come back to her senses. She feels okay even though she sees the worst creature you could ever lay your eyes on. She looked at Ky with a brave smile, "I'm good, Ky, thank you for helping me. I'll be careful, let's get this done and over with." She held her sword with both hands, squeezing the handle tightly as she looked at the enemy before them.
Ky smiled as he saw the determination in her eyes. Maybe this isn't going to go as badly as he thought. Looking back at the abominations that shuffled towards them and simply said "Take out the small ones, negate as much damage as you can or this is going to get really ugly for me. Back me up when you're finished.", before dashing towards the main creature. Lifting his blade just in time to clash with one of the creatures grotesque limbs, at a standstill Ky stabbed it with his dagger making it recoil. Taking advantage of the opening he puffed into a frost cloud and dashed onto its back to stab its head, he however lost his balance after reforming due to a sudden pang of pain and stumbled off. Falling to the ground he regained his bearings just in time to frost dash out of the way of a stomp from Censored. Wobbling back on his feet he held his head, all he could hear was his heart in his ears and the clangs from the Manager's sword. Taking a deep breath he refocused just in time to lean out of the way of a bite, stabbing it through its head from the bottom. Censored let out an eldritch sounding wail, pulling back ripping Justitia out of Ky's hand in the process. Forming another dagger, he lowered his stance. His whole body was writhing with pain, and his mind wasn't doing much better. His tails flowed around uncontrollably and his ears were twitching like mad. He could see his breath as his eyes dimmed and a feral grin formed on his face. A snow storm started raging through the room, Icicles getting thrown around stabbing at the inhabitants. [Aleph Breach!] A large Fox stood in Ky's place, its grin however was replaced by a serious scowl and its eyes shone brightly. Its frozen tails impaling the Eldritch Horror through its head and front legs, holding it down. An impressive feat considering that it was considerably smaller than its opponent. Occasionally twitching with pain, it stared towards the Manager with expectation.
depending on what abnormalities you have at that moment, the suppression of hokma can be quite "Chill" or practically hell. When I did it, I specifically had an abnormality (worse, it was the most dangerous abnormality I had), that constantly needs attention so that it doesn't breach and the fact that it "can't" pause which by default was annoying, now i have to work while hokma increases my game speed by two. just thinking about it gives me PTSD😣
I think I know what you're talking about... that must have been absolute hell for you I am sorry. You probably had to always keep eyes on that no matter what or else it was just over for you. But yeah it can definitely just be a chill day if you don't have really attention hungry abnormalities that are time sensitive. It's a very nice suppression.
I CAN’T BELIEVE CLAVIS IS DEAD JUST AS SHE BEGAN TO ALLOW MANAGER TO LIVE NORMALLY, HAHAH. Anyways, I was expecting one of them to die, as cruel as that is. So it’s absolutely fine to keep her dead. Lore reasons, anyways I hope you enjoy Dies Irae about to absorb Clavis Aurea’s rage and distort HAH. - Part I: Psi A familiar connects through the corporation, as once again Psi appears on the screens. “I wasn’t expecting to come back so soon, but.. This time it’s important. One of the apocrypha duo is dead, as.. Sad, as it is.” “Clavis Aurea.. She did just start to forgive you too, she was making new friends as well… Don’t worry about her mangled body, since she’s dead she’ll return back here with me - all safe and sound. Though, I was doubting how worried you’d be, since y’know.. Us managers let people die quite often.” She seems to be looking afar, then sighs. “She wanted to apologize, there’s a note on your desk she had. It’s the one thing I could get before that stupid iron box tore her asunder. (Don’t ask why or how, just open it.)” “Anyways, you have another problem on your hands, since those two are connected Dies already knows about it. He’s not at all pleased, rather he’s a lot more violent as what I’ve seen..” “Good luck handling him, toodaloo..” The screen shuts off forcibly, and time unfreezes. One grabbing the letter, it has several smudges and erases marks. > Dear Manager Golex, This is the first letter I’ve written to you without any violent warnings, funny. Anyways, I just wanted to say, I’m sorry. I apologize for trying to kill you. I thought that maybe you were similar to those vile gods that we’ve killed so much before, but after awhile I realized that you were just surviving too. You tried to keep many alive despite the circumstances, and I’m sorry I didn’t realize that sooner. Im not asking you to be friends with me, because obviously if someone who tried to kill you asked to friends you’d definitely say no, haha. Just.. Saying sorry. It’s hard for me to do. Thanks for keeping me alive, despite what I’ve done to you. Sincerely, Clavis. At the end there’s a noticeable blood smear on it. - Part II: Dies Irae There were several dead clerks on the floor, as Dies slammed Sound of a Star into them. There was no emotion in his face, it was completely devoid of anything. His regular smile was gone, almost like.. He was a statue. He didn’t understand. Why of all people? Why did Clavis die? *Again?* There was another cry and another inevitable splatter against the ground. He glared at the succumbing of corpses as he suddenly annihilated several abnormalities’ doors letting them free roam as he just simply pushed pass them. “I’ll let you all die..” He whispered, a bloody step following each stride he took. “All of you don’t matter anymore.” Another body. “Did you want to live?” Another limb. “That’s too bad, huh?” The moment he caught the sight of the manager, he lunged. Bloody red claws snapping into her direction. He remembered when he protected her from Clavis, similar a situation as this. How funny. He should’ve let her die, huh? When lunges at her he does aim for a killing blow rather just several sharp gash against her arms. “Going reset, huh manager? That’ll fix all your problems right? Go ahead. Fix your problems. Leave the rest of us behind. That’s what managers are for right?” He seethes, glaring at her. He then brushes it off and walks away. “Don’t feel like killing you, not like Clavis did. I’ll let you simmer. I’m done for today.”
MANN NOOOOOOOOO IM SO MAD I NEVER REALIZED SHE DIED EITHER I THOUGHT SHE WAS OKAY SINCE SHE WAS STILL ALIVE BUT BETWITCHED PEOPLE JUST DIIIEEEE UUUGGHHHHH So sad... we could have maybe been friends... Man Dies is about to be an issue and a half now. -- The manager expected this pause to come, she held a pained expression on her face with her elbows to the desk, her fingers connected together. Although the one that caused her so many scares while in the facility was now gone, that person was warming up to the manager. The manager could see that they could maybe be at peace with each other. But that opportunity is now gone. "Maybe this is what they meant, huh. Don't feel too attached." The manager couldn't really look Psi in the eye since Psi is their creator and all. Upon hearing the possibility that she's still alive, the manager managed to lighten up a bit. Not all hope was lost of her being gone. But that didn't really change the fact that she was. What would Dies think of this? Does he know that she's still out there? But at the same time, is she even the same Clavis we knew? The manager only had so many questions in her mind, and it was only until the end of the call that she vocalized one of them. "Wait, could you bring her back-" The screen shut off. The manager could only sit in cold silence. She looked over at the letter covered in smudges, eraser marks, and a tinge of blood. She picked up the letter and read it word for word. To read such a letter from the now dead was more painful than any of the stresses she experienced here. The last line that she read led her towards despair. The letter that only held graphite, blood, and eraser shavings held something new. The tears of the manager spread across it. She sat at her desk for a few moments before knowing that she had to see and check up on someone. -- The manager walked the blood-stained walls of the facility. Noticing that this was likely Dies' doing. She could hear the screams of people being ripped to shreds, abnormalities breaching containment, she shouldn't be out here, it was very likely that she could go crazy, get hurt, or worse in these circumstances. But that didn't really matter to her. She spotted Dies and Dies spotted her. She attempted to avoid Dies' attack but was still injured. She stumbled back and onto the floor as she held both of her arms in pain. She could only look at Dies at this point. She could see the anger, the pain within his eyes. She could only be out here regardless because she could do what he said. If only she could've she thought. What combination of words could she say to help him? Was there anything she could do? As he walked away, she let out the only thing she could muster. "I'm sorry, Dies Irae..."

Dies kept walking along, clicking his tongue as Yaku followed behind him shouting at him. “Ding-ding-ding.. You got the point. Though, I appreciate you lot for saving her. Truly,” A bitter laugh coming from him, turning his head towards Yaku. His eyes dimmed, almost dead looking but as well his face looked tired and defeated. “Maybe she can take the time to figure out the pain that Clavis had often vouched for, seeing as she died. Maybe it’ll finally rupture in her brain. Maybe not, seeing as many people died and she just moved on like it meant nothing.” “Suppose it did mean nothing. Nothing matters anymore. Not you, Not I, Not this revolting ramshackle of a facility all of it can be consumed in hellfire for all I care..” All of a sudden something bounces off of Yaku’s forehead and tumbles to the ground. A bag of chips. “Those snacks I promised you, when I tried to stop Clavis from spearing the manager. Pft, should’ve let her.” He keeps shambling forward, up to the top. “Stop me or try to, don’t care. Just one less employee to worry about.”

THAT CONFRONTATION WAS SO COOL It definitely has to be one of my favorite moments as well. This suppression just felt so good, it was so simple but so GOOD I really liked it. Of course, like the ones where you fight the Sephriah, oh yeah, those were cool, but for some reason, just the music, the strange feeling, time moving faster as you approach the end, I just love it. I won't give it my absolute favorite but 100% up there until I decide if I wanna do a concrete list.
I like how the end Sephirah are a test to see if you are ready for what's to come since we are coming upon the hardest moments of lobotomy corporation. I noticed that part at the end also thats nice that the two end sephriah have those as their quotes. Project moon really has an amazing story here, and I am so excited to see more and the conclusion of this one.

But it lets you pause at the cost of your nuggets dying

0:59 The reason that they jump in is that EGO gift acquisition happens before an abnormalities end of work ability (in Singing Machine's case, where it check the employee's Fort level). It's a rather silly bug. (I have fixed it in my mod by moving EGO gift acquisition to after everything else)
Each of the 2 Amber Midnights can only spawn 6 (at least I think it's 6) Dusks (suppressing a Dusk does not let a new Dusk spawn), and after that they no longer spawn any Dusks.
Also, I agree. "090909090" and "Circle Rombed-Oxygen" are 2 of my favorite tracks in the game. (yes, those are their real names, right at home with the likes of " never frozen bottom flows" and "untitled9877645623413123325")

Yaku just holds their head, it's throbbing. "Sentinel..." Though after a certain deaths, is this how fragile life is truly, despite their efforts to try to facing forward, they will be lying if they say they aren't scared and is actually want to live also. Their shoulder was patted by Hokma. "It would seem the time is troubling you." Yaku jolted and shaking, Alinia flaps Yaku's cheek to calm. Yaku holding their chest. "It's you grandpa- I mean Mr. Hokma! Hokma!" Hokma looks rather calm about it. "We are all the same in the eyes of the Time itself, so whatever happens is fine even being called as you fit. This is the first time we talked, have we?"
Yaku nods. "Yes... I haven't approach you beca-" Hokma knew already. "I reminded of your lost loved one. Uri was it?" Yaku starts to lose their composure. "That-" Hokma reassures them. "The grandchild of light with a companion of light is a bearer of darkness, quite ironically poetic. You been chasing the answer since the beginning."
Yaku just bite their lip. "It is true, I wouldn't have already died if it weren't for that stupid of motivation of mine." Hokma sighs. "Is it really from what you are standing now? In fact you are one of the people here with the most desire." Yaku just stay silent and wonders. "Am I deserve such title? I'm not different from the city." Hokma just smiles softly. "As everyone else in this facility, we come from outside in the first place after all. No one can stop the changing flow of time."
Yaku did notice people changing inside the facility no matter how gruesome and terrible it might have been. "Jeez, everywhere that reminds me of my grandpa, I can't escape." Hokma with such determined expression. "As people also changes with time, you capture his essence slowly."
Yaku calms down now and realize they want to check something first. "Thanks grandpa but I have something to do." Hokma nods. "Go now, Sentinel, do your duty the moment you all step into this place."
Yaku waves. "I know!" They immediately went to the grave with full of cakes and one specific chocolate drink. "I'm sorry, I couldn't approach you, I realized I'm a coward than I thought." towards a newest tombstone of troublemakers.
They notice on the monitor as they went back, the manager is injured from someone and immediately rushes to the scene.

As the day ended with another completed Core Suppression, Ky simply wandered the hallways wondering what he should do now. Syvvis wasn't annoyed at him for once, simply dancing in the air as it followed him. It was a pretty good day, all things considered. Hod didn't have any tasks, Quennie didn't want to hang out and the Birds were resting. Maybe it was a good time for a nap?
Nodding to himself he decided a nap sounded pretty good right about now, when suddenly a cold shiver ran down his spine. Immediately he stopped in his tracks, and looked around confused. Syvvis entranced in its dance didn't notice and bumped into him, instantly becoming annoyed, making a cacophony of noise and repeatedly bumping against his head. Suddenly he heard a couple of bangs some odd floors below. An alarm began to ring out as he rushed to the scene, Justitia in hand.
When he arrived he found several dismembered corpses belonging to clerks and caved in Containment doors. "What the...?" Ky stared at the scene before him, looking at all the roaming Abnormalities, when suddenly huge claw marks ran down his arm. Grunting in pain, he simply stared at it in confusion until it hit him, his eyes widening. Quickly freezing the wound, he gave an Agent that just arrived a nod, and Frost Dashed past the Abnormalities to try and find the Manager.
Running towards another hallway, its door suddenly opened and a stone-faced Dies Irae walked past him. Seeing the bleeding Manager through the door, he gave Dies a glare and rushed to assist the Manager.
"Heya, Manager! You alright?" Grabbing her injured arm he froze the wound to stop the bleeding. "What happened?"
The manager sat there for a moment, like she didn't really know what she was supposed to do at this moment. She didn't really realize where she was until her arm was grabbed by Ky and her wounds frozen over, which gave her a bit of a chill and shiver. She looked to Ky, down to the ground and up to Dies leaving. It took a few moments before she spoke. "Clavis is dead, so Dies... did this."
She held up her arms, and she looked around at the hallway stained in blood and the bodies of clerks. She was shocked seeing all of these bodies, her heart beat faster. Something called to her in this moment, she touched the hilt of her blade, which seemed to make her feel more familiarized with this kind of scene. She felt calm in this moment.
She looked towards Ky once more, "I'm fine, but we need to deal with this situation. Dies seems like he's done for now, but we need to handle the abnormalities." It was as if all of her emotions took a backseat. She held a straightforward look and knew she had a job to do despite all that has happened in this moment.
Yaku immediately went to the scene with first aid and other things, they start to treat the injury. "Ky, look after manager, I have something to take care of." They head to a certain pathway.
Ky gave Yaku an appreciative nod. "As if I wouldn't have done that anyway." He chuckled, as Yaku took off.
Taking a look around Ky estimated the amount of escaped Abnormalities. Most of the corpses seem to be from Dies, there might be around a hallway or two worth of Abno's roaming the facility. The attack was centered around Welfare and Central. Meaning 5 to 10 escapees. Manageable.
Standing up, he held his hand out to help the Manager to her feet. "Never had much contact with Dies Irae, but he didn't strike me like someone who would rampage..." Ky looked to the side in shame, his tails hanging limp. "...Not like I can talk."
Syvvis bumped against his head, snapping him out of it. Shaking it off the fox gave the Manager a determined look, and unsheathed Justitia and created an Ice dagger in his off-hand. "Most of the Abnormalities are being handled by the others, but it looks like we have visitors." Turning around, he observed as a indescribable lump of mass hobbled its way through the door, followed by a bigger four-legged mass. Ky held his head in pain and looked back at the Manager, seems like she took a huge amount of white damage... Her first real fight against an Abnormality and it had to have been Censored, huh...
Glancing at the bramble around her arm, he got an idea. If the gift gives only the halved damage to him, what would happen if he took the entirety of it? ...Or maybe even extra? Would it heal her? Ky sighed and closed his eyes, only one way to find out. She is going to need all the help she can get, and if he died he'll just wake up again...
[E.G.O Gift Glacial Selflessness: SP+10, 150% Damage reduction, heal by 50% of Damage taken, Damage given to Abnormality instead.]
The bramble suddenly grew tight around the Manager's arm, its frozen thorns growing, piercing her but not hurting. Small wounds appeared on Ky's arm instead. His head pounding from the constant white damage he was receiving, as she healed. "...Let's get this over with as fast as possible... Two people against Censored and its groupies are not good chances. Oh, and don't let it grab you yeah?" Ky took his stance beside the Manager. "Ready?"
"Dies wouldn't bring destruction like this outright- this has become a predicament. But we can handle this." The manager gave Ky a confident but nervous smile. Knowing the place they are in at the moment, there could be a couple of abnormalities that she never wants to encounter in her life. She'd rather keep it that way but there might be no other choice in this situation.
She fully unsheathed her blade after she got back up and kept it out close to her. With it in her hands she felt more comfortable with the idea of battle.
For the first time, the manager saw what she could not describe in the slightest. It was blobs of meat, but this just defied every rule she thought was put in place for any being she took a massive mental hit, she intensely shivered at the sight that such a creature actually existed in this world. She was getting close to losing her mind at the sheer sight of it. But before she did, her body experienced a change.
Her hair changed completely white for a moment. It seemed like a transformation was occurring. But it was stopped in its tracks once Ky upgraded the bramble on her arm. Her body twitched at it sinking deeper into her skin, her hair returned back to its original purple color. Her heart was beating very fast, but she felt like she had come back to her senses. She feels okay even though she sees the worst creature you could ever lay your eyes on.
She looked at Ky with a brave smile, "I'm good, Ky, thank you for helping me. I'll be careful, let's get this done and over with." She held her sword with both hands, squeezing the handle tightly as she looked at the enemy before them.
Ky smiled as he saw the determination in her eyes. Maybe this isn't going to go as badly as he thought. Looking back at the abominations that shuffled towards them and simply said "Take out the small ones, negate as much damage as you can or this is going to get really ugly for me. Back me up when you're finished.", before dashing towards the main creature.
Lifting his blade just in time to clash with one of the creatures grotesque limbs, at a standstill Ky stabbed it with his dagger making it recoil. Taking advantage of the opening he puffed into a frost cloud and dashed onto its back to stab its head, he however lost his balance after reforming due to a sudden pang of pain and stumbled off. Falling to the ground he regained his bearings just in time to frost dash out of the way of a stomp from Censored.
Wobbling back on his feet he held his head, all he could hear was his heart in his ears and the clangs from the Manager's sword. Taking a deep breath he refocused just in time to lean out of the way of a bite, stabbing it through its head from the bottom. Censored let out an eldritch sounding wail, pulling back ripping Justitia out of Ky's hand in the process. Forming another dagger, he lowered his stance. His whole body was writhing with pain, and his mind wasn't doing much better. His tails flowed around uncontrollably and his ears were twitching like mad. He could see his breath as his eyes dimmed and a feral grin formed on his face.
A snow storm started raging through the room, Icicles getting thrown around stabbing at the inhabitants.

A large Fox stood in Ky's place, its grin however was replaced by a serious scowl and its eyes shone brightly. Its frozen tails impaling the Eldritch Horror through its head and front legs, holding it down. An impressive feat considering that it was considerably smaller than its opponent. Occasionally twitching with pain, it stared towards the Manager with expectation.
depending on what abnormalities you have at that moment, the suppression of hokma can be quite "Chill" or practically hell.
When I did it, I specifically had an abnormality (worse, it was the most dangerous abnormality I had), that constantly needs attention so that it doesn't breach and the fact that it "can't" pause which by default was annoying, now i have to work while hokma increases my game speed by two. just thinking about it gives me PTSD😣
I think I know what you're talking about... that must have been absolute hell for you I am sorry. You probably had to always keep eyes on that no matter what or else it was just over for you. But yeah it can definitely just be a chill day if you don't have really attention hungry abnormalities that are time sensitive. It's a very nice suppression.

Part I: Psi
A familiar connects through the corporation, as once again Psi appears on the screens.
“I wasn’t expecting to come back so soon, but.. This time it’s important. One of the apocrypha duo is dead, as.. Sad, as it is.”
“Clavis Aurea.. She did just start to forgive you too, she was making new friends as well… Don’t worry about her mangled body, since she’s dead she’ll return back here with me - all safe and sound. Though, I was doubting how worried you’d be, since y’know.. Us managers let people die quite often.”
She seems to be looking afar, then sighs.
“She wanted to apologize, there’s a note on your desk she had. It’s the one thing I could get before that stupid iron box tore her asunder. (Don’t ask why or how, just open it.)”
“Anyways, you have another problem on your hands, since those two are connected Dies already knows about it. He’s not at all pleased, rather he’s a lot more violent as what I’ve seen..”
“Good luck handling him, toodaloo..”
The screen shuts off forcibly, and time unfreezes. One grabbing the letter, it has several smudges and erases marks.

This is the first letter I’ve written to you without any violent warnings, funny. Anyways, I just wanted to say, I’m sorry. I apologize for trying to kill you.
I thought that maybe you were similar to those vile gods that we’ve killed so much before, but after awhile I realized that you were just surviving too. You tried to keep many alive despite the circumstances, and I’m sorry I didn’t realize that sooner. Im not asking you to be friends with me, because obviously if someone who tried to kill you asked to friends you’d definitely say no, haha. Just.. Saying sorry. It’s hard for me to do.

Part II: Dies Irae
There were several dead clerks on the floor, as Dies slammed Sound of a Star into them. There was no emotion in his face, it was completely devoid of anything. His regular smile was gone, almost like.. He was a statue.
He didn’t understand. Why of all people? Why did Clavis die? *Again?*
There was another cry and another inevitable splatter against the ground. He glared at the succumbing of corpses as he suddenly annihilated several abnormalities’ doors letting them free roam as he just simply pushed pass them.
“I’ll let you all die..”
He whispered, a bloody step following each stride he took.
“All of you don’t matter anymore.”
Another body.
“Did you want to live?”
Another limb.
“That’s too bad, huh?”
The moment he caught the sight of the manager, he lunged. Bloody red claws snapping into her direction. He remembered when he protected her from Clavis, similar a situation as this.
How funny. He should’ve let her die, huh?

“Going reset, huh manager? That’ll fix all your problems right? Go ahead. Fix your problems. Leave the rest of us behind. That’s what managers are for right?”
He seethes, glaring at her. He then brushes it off and walks away.
“Don’t feel like killing you, not like Clavis did. I’ll let you simmer. I’m done for today.”

The manager expected this pause to come, she held a pained expression on her face with her elbows to the desk, her fingers connected together. Although the one that caused her so many scares while in the facility was now gone, that person was warming up to the manager. The manager could see that they could maybe be at peace with each other. But that opportunity is now gone. "Maybe this is what they meant, huh. Don't feel too attached."
The manager couldn't really look Psi in the eye since Psi is their creator and all. Upon hearing the possibility that she's still alive, the manager managed to lighten up a bit. Not all hope was lost of her being gone. But that didn't really change the fact that she was. What would Dies think of this? Does he know that she's still out there? But at the same time, is she even the same Clavis we knew?
The manager only had so many questions in her mind, and it was only until the end of the call that she vocalized one of them. "Wait, could you bring her back-" The screen shut off. The manager could only sit in cold silence. She looked over at the letter covered in smudges, eraser marks, and a tinge of blood. She picked up the letter and read it word for word.
To read such a letter from the now dead was more painful than any of the stresses she experienced here. The last line that she read led her towards despair. The letter that only held graphite, blood, and eraser shavings held something new. The tears of the manager spread across it. She sat at her desk for a few moments before knowing that she had to see and check up on someone.

The manager walked the blood-stained walls of the facility. Noticing that this was likely Dies' doing. She could hear the screams of people being ripped to shreds, abnormalities breaching containment, she shouldn't be out here, it was very likely that she could go crazy, get hurt, or worse in these circumstances.
But that didn't really matter to her. She spotted Dies and Dies spotted her. She attempted to avoid Dies' attack but was still injured. She stumbled back and onto the floor as she held both of her arms in pain.
She could only look at Dies at this point. She could see the anger, the pain within his eyes. She could only be out here regardless because she could do what he said. If only she could've she thought. What combination of words could she say to help him? Was there anything she could do?
As he walked away, she let out the only thing she could muster. "I'm sorry, Dies Irae..."
Because I’m a dumbdumb and did not reread this, this has mistakes (I promise I’m good at writing, I did a fifteen page essay 😭) so here are some clarifications:

Dies Irae spoke as he felt the presence of Yaku appear. Dies kept walking along, clicking his tongue as Yaku followed behind him shouting at him.
“Ding-ding-ding.. You got the point. Though, I appreciate you lot for saving her. Truly,”
A bitter laugh coming from him, turning his head towards Yaku. His eyes dimmed, almost dead looking but as well his face looked tired and defeated.
“Maybe she can take the time to figure out the pain that Clavis had often vouched for, seeing as she died. Maybe it’ll finally rupture in her brain. Maybe not, seeing as many people died and she just moved on like it meant nothing.”
“Suppose it did mean nothing. Nothing matters anymore. Not you, Not I, Not this revolting ramshackle of a facility all of it can be consumed in hellfire for all I care..”
All of a sudden something bounces off of Yaku’s forehead and tumbles to the ground. A bag of chips.
“Those snacks I promised you, when I tried to stop Clavis from spearing the manager. Pft, should’ve let her.”
He keeps shambling forward, up to the top.
