When you've played this game for over 500 hours and you've skipped the intro so many times it becomes muscle memory you forget just how fucking incredible it is. God, I love this game.
Also the full song is even better. Surprizingly, the cut-out second couplet that didn't get involved in the game at all, still is very related to the story and has some curious phrases
No mention of customization? I had a lot of fun customizing my teams, especially with workshop mods. My two favorites are Gebura wielding Chesed like a sword, and stuffing Roland into a jumbo sized popcorn bag.
Ah yes, so you too have finally realized that PM opened your mind with Lobotomy Corp and then screwed around with your brain juices to addict you to wanting the stuff which they pour their hearts into with Library of Ruina. Can’t wait till they somehow figure out to make their game so interesting, immersive, and cool that it’ll meld our minds into the people of The City.

Hilarious that you reference Slay the Spire in the beginning, because I would never have played Lob corp or Ruina without the excellent Slay the Spire mods that were made for them...I kept seeing cool and unique characters, and I wanted to figure out what it all was about. Their stories are astronomically darker than what I'd normally get into, but I just couldn't help it; my curiosity combined with the fascinating world and characters that Project Moon built has left me as a dedicated fan.

at first i thought the characters were too well made for a simple character mod, then the EGO shit with the emotion and all the pasives and what not, i had to know where the inspiration from the mod come from and my godness, i would have never expected the unholy union of dark souls, random bullshit difficulty and SCP to even exist and even less, it having a follow up as a deck building RPG, that mod should be the definition of the meme "i came here for copper and found gold"
if you had said mili made something of the songs for this game i would have been sold instantly. anything within mili's range that she works on is also filled with just as much love as her work
I wholeheartedly agree that LoR might just be one of the best games out there, especially in terms of theming and setting and writing. At some points, it feels less like you're playing a game and instead more like you're commanding actors within a violent play and it WORKS SO WELL!! If you love RPGs or Deckbuilders or BOTH, than you're going to adore LoR, even if you aren't the kinda guy that likes to sit and read dialogue
As someone with over 1K hours into the game thanks to mods and how much I love the gameplay in general, it's a huge step up from their last game. While I generally recommend skipping LC if you're not into that kind of game (even in context of trying LoR, I think skipping LC is fine for reasons I'll get into below), LoR is a great game to actually play on its own, the story is just a free cake on top of your card cake. The storytelling is amazing here. Since Roland knows all about the City and Angela knows all about the Library and Sephirot, but they know nothing about the other side, the two can regularly exchange information in away that doesn't come off as mindless exposition. This enables newcomers to understand the setting and the characters without having to beat the monster that is LC though it does provide additional context. Moreover, almost everything you encounter doesn't come out of nowhere, there's plenty of foreshadowing and set up for everything until it all comes together. I think the game's very final bit overstays its welcome (too much is thrown at you with no real rewards and you can't do anything else the whole time), but it's an amazing experience nonetheless. Also please read what the game actually tells you. Many players are illiterate. In a LIBRARY. Please, start reading and STOP WINNING CLASHES AGAINST REVERSE SCALE.

You forgot one thing about evade, it can be REUSED. If you roll higher than the opponents attack then the evade die is used again against the enemy's next attack basically allowing you to say "fuck you" to all the enemy's damage alongside recovering an insane amount of stagger. You can use evade die against an enemy's low value attack die to basically use them as a free stagger farm. Did I also mention defensive die stay for the rest of the scene if unused? Like if you attack a staggered enemy with a die that has a block or evade at the end the defensive die are saved. So if you have gigigi which restores light on use and has a defensive die at the end you can attack a staggered enemy from free damage and light while defending yourself from a one sided attack like how bullshit is that huh?
Correction: unused defensive dice are preserved if the enemy doesn't die. Otherwise, all defensive dice on the page you killed them with are lost. That's LobCorp for you. That aside, evade dice are often too weak without Combat Preparation nonsense to buff them into eating 20-27 dice because lol Combat Preparation.
@@crazy338866 you're remembering it correctly, but if the target dies, those defensive dice disappear even on a one-sided attack. LoR isn't devoid of spaghetti coding.
Ive 100% this game, obtained every card three times over, fought every fight save for the Uninvited Guests at least twice, AFKd at each boss at least once in awe at the spectacle or enjoyment at the music, spent 200 hours COMPLETING this amazing game... and the music part of this video alone is seriously tempting me to redownload and screw around with some fights some more. What i love the most about library of ruina is there is countless whacky shit that you can do. You can use enemy mechanic as yours on its full glory and you can even mix all the good stuff into it. In other game maybe you can play as the boss but they are nerfed but in ruina you can play as the boss and make it even better. It just feel so satisfying to mix and match every card on the game and mod also make it way better too
@@lyfed2566 well, except for one set of bosses. God, why does their stuff suck so much? They really come off as rushed in that regard. Every other boss gives you way more sensible rewards. You really have to install a mod like Macrosis' rework to make them more than a cheap passive dump.
the game mechanic is great, the story is amazing, the music is banger, the ptsd is permanent, the art is mesmerizing really recommended, especially for those who already work at LC
Small thing about the music of Keter that you didn't talk about, is about the two mains instruments used on Keter, which are the Piano and Violin, The piano especially is a sort of hint for the story as all themes that are related to roland use piano showing that the pianist is an important event in his life...
After repeatedly play the game There are a lot of small detail in this game like the fact that every end game boss have been mention at least once before the actual fight I like those attention to detail very much or the fact that some of the character have been mention since lobotomy corp 10/10 would kill god for the third time

Just hit 700 a while ago. The modding community does in some cases add a ton of fun to the game, would recommend less easy library of ruina for a new playthrough, it's what it says on the tin. Ruina but far more difficult (both receptions and abno fights) and is beatable with on tier stuff allowing for a fully vanilla playthrough of it (altho it will hurt your soul, as an example red mist has like 5 phases)
This game is, and forever will be, on my top 5 games of all time, sure the gameplay isnt for everyone. But everything in the game is a 10/10. Its absolutly BONKERS how much fanart/fanlove of character there are; for characters that show up for ONE battle. Gebura best girl.

Is it algorithm or the Project Moon fanbase flocking onto any PM content? I saw like a dozen small channels get thousand views on LC videos just for playing those games. Not complaining, mind you.
@@anothenblue2630 Basically the case, every Project Moon fan is so starved for PM related content while waiting for Limbus Company that they will immediately ambush any small RUclipsrs that think “Lobotomy Corporation? A quick episode of a management simulator wouldn’t hurt-” and hit them in the head with 45k views when they usually get like a ratio 90-400 views on average and the views forcing them to play the game and experience every last drop of the nightmare and develop Stockholm syndrome and in my opinion I’m all for it XD
While I'm not gonna ask you to review them, if you really want more Project Moon content, I would highly recommend their webcomics/webnovels, Wonder Lab, Distortion Detective, and Leviathan. Enjoyable reads in their own right imo, and they flesh out The City even more
10:28 - You forgot to mention that you also recover the stagger resist and the evade dice gets recycled, that's the main point of the evade dice, or else it would be just worse than block.
yay! more suffering, more pain inducing gameplay 10/10 would buy again (I forgot but the story is one of the best i've had the pleasure of experiencing in the last years, makes the pain worth it) Oh and dont get me started on how good the music is, its simply orgasmic

Finally, a video review of Library of Ruina. I've been wanting to find a way to talk about this game with other fans, but none of us can read so it was very difficult.
"So you replayed this game several times huh?" "Nahh, I finished it in one go so i can just keep replaying the intro and hear the music of the game for hours"
Fun music fact: out of all of the floor themes, Roland and Hod's themes sound the most similar to each other (especially melody-wise) (Vague spoilers below) If you know about Hod's role in Lobotomy Corp, then compare it to Roland's role in Ruina, then the reasoning as to why that's the case becomes *very* obvious
I’ve played quite a bit but still haven’t reached that point yet. Gonna guess he’s like Akechi or Adachi though, which would be funny, since spoilers for them were also impossible to avoid.
I love the amount of card game references in here, mainly you replacing pages with cards from other games (and a book for a hearthstone pack). Let's hope that limbus company won't be a cash grab, as it is a phone game (and likely a gacha), though I doubt it will be. One thing though. We don't talk about lovetown. 0/10 how dare you talk about lovetown. Seriously though great video, and hope you will keep this up with other games, or whatever else you might plan on reviewing or making in the future. Edit. Apparently it is confirmed to be a gacha (learned/reminded by reply). Only remembered it being confirmed they would try and make it f2p friendly.

@@neroesthepangolinmaster yeah not all gacha are cash grab, take Arknights for example, a gacha tower defense game (that's honestly has a lot of similiar to library of ruina in term of story depression but somewhat lighter tone) has a great character system that let 99% character be useful in battle whether or not they are high rarity(different between high and low rarity isn't giant stats gap but their overall flexibility in skills), so much that people has confirm that you can complete the whole story line (which is has some extremely hard battle that even whale are crying over) with just 3* (lowest gacha rarity) characters. Which means you don't have to spend any money (and i mean it as a f2p player) to finish this game properly, even when your luck is bs (still waiting to get mudrock sendhelp)
Mili's song are a banger man, they made some songs for Deemo II + a lot of their songs are used in other rhythm game, and a song for Limbus Company is also made by them its called "In Hell We Live, Lament" and its a banger
I might be wrong, but I think at some point Roland makes the excuse of "I used to be a high ranking information fixer, somebody who knows a lotta stuff." for why he knows so much.
this game, though got some stupid stage (looks at Binah's realization) are generally fantastic. music for every single part of the game is fantastic (Geburah's EGO is still my favourite esp with how it overrides all bosses song). the gameplay, can be tedious when it comes to grinding the cards if you're unlucky but all in all still great. the community work (mod, fanart, animations) are all fantastic. Binahs fights I think were ones I retried the most on, which is to say screw Punishing Bird, which I eventually decided against my original willing of just using some generic set ups I had and actually just put in everything to hard counter the fight, which worked, but that didn't feel too good. I did most fights including most boss fights in one try Like I did Red Mist without even using more than 1 floor in one attempt, but Binahs... aeugh Other noteworthy annoying fights are like, QoH, Red Hooded (The realization fight ver.) and some other shenanigans that I had issues with, namely like, reading essay challenge on Cheseds realization which took forever.
@@adamxue6096 Haven't done Binah's realization yet (need to re-grind Purple Tear and Iron Lotus to access the next chapter, seeing as I opened all copies of their books for those tasty key pages). Given how much I've hated the rest of her floor's fights I'm not looking forward to it. All the bird's gimmicks are annoying to play around (maybe Big Bird isn't that bad, but the others suck), so doing all of them in a row AND THEN Bird Exodia on top of that sounds like... a real treat. I do like the Arbiter deck, but none of her floor's Abno pages really resonate with me. Being slow and rolling low? Not my cup of tea. That being said, I LOVE the realisations for the other floors. Even Tiphereth's who commited 3 cardinal sins by: - Having the final stage of a long boss rush have wipe mechanics (I can't be the only one who was stunlocked by the Greed mass attack the first time round) - Replacing my custom characters with prebuilt ones - Being fairly heavily scripted in a game that usually lets you approach bosses in at least a few different ways (especially because his passives require you to 1v1 him in each stage rather than mixing attackers) By all rights I should have hated Nix, but it was such a good finale for the floor as a whole I didn't even care. That being said... why are none of her E.G.O. cards Synchronization ones? LET ME PLAY AS KING OF GREED IN NORMAL RECEPTIONS YOU COWARDS!
@@connorshaw7649 Binahs fight is really tough and like Apobirb is really ridiculous :/ Also, Tiphereth realization fight I think I fought while being too overprepared, which made the fight a big cake walk. But the Despair phase of Nix almost gave me some issues as I almost accidentally got someone killed, made it just fine tho. In general the fight is quite incredible and I love it a lot. It feels kinda well earned that you finally awake the magical girls for good.
@@connorshaw7649 synch EGOs are severely underused, but also most of them suck. Magic Bullet is the only one worth using in any serious capacity. I don't think you'd like what they'd do with Gold Rush. But there are mods for this kind of stuff.
God it was a blast playing the game twice Once because I bought it the moment it was released early access on steam (UPDATE FRIDAY MY BOYS) And a second time to replay it once it came out of early access
I played it only after release, but I did it twice anyway because I wanted to experience it again with better understanding of the game. God bless puppets and Combat Preparation.
We all have to acknowledge that Binah got a *glowup* in Library of Ruina. Also, yeah. I have too many hours in this one given I 100%'d it too. :/ The fact that I won't be around for Limbus Company makes me so sad.
Pause, why won't you be around for Limbus? Also, technically everyone got a glowup because the Cognition Filter got busted after Angela cut down the tree.
@@omnibeta1876I now realize that my Limbus Company comment could sound concerning. I just have some obligations that I'll be handling over the next two years that means I won't be able to do things like gaming on my phone. Perhaps to clarify, I should have said the launch of Limbus Company. In regards to the glowups, on one hand, yes. On the other hand, their general aesthetic still changed regardless of the Cognition Filter when Angela gave them human bodies again, like Binah's long hair with the yellow underside, etc.
Your video quality is great and deserved so much more attention! As a fellow PJM fan, I understand how hard it is to talk about Library of Ruina without spoiling Lobotomy Corporation, especially when the ENTIRE CAST are there. And it's even HARDER to explain the mechanics to someone who is completely new to the game without making them either get brain exploded from information overloaded, or fell asleep in the process. The mechanic is so damn dense and complicated that it is probably easier letting them jump right in and learn through trails and errors to some point before properly explains it. At first, I get into the fandom because of the abnormality, then slowly get attached to the story and the cast. But LC's lore is pretty much just a few first chapter of this world. Library of Ruina's story expanded a lot on the world itself, which really shows how much love PJM puts into this universe. Not to mentioned Wonderlab, Distortion Detective, and recently Leviathan. I really fall in love with this world they created, and get attached to the main cast much more than I thought. As a first-week beta player, I really missed the feeling of "Update Friday." Sitting there, excited what's about to come next. How the story would progress? What kind of folks we are going to face? How would these new guests introduced us the aspect of The City? What kind of place would we be seeing? And lots more. And god damn, when they added the first "Boss fight," it was a phenomenal. From the "back"story to the difficulty of the actual fight, the theme and stuff. It was so impactful that everyone starts to meme around it. [We don't talk about Love Town] We all know the struggle of not having a wiki page to help us figure out what the frick these are, as well as several mechanic reworks (remember the old burn/bleed? Or how broken the counter dice are when they got first introduced?) But one of the best moments I remembered about the mechanic rework is when they added "Abnormality fight." I just love how they still incorporate the gimmicks of each abnormality in a completely different genre of game, but still managed to pull it out perfectly. The Bloodbath gives me a PTSD because it looks a little bit familiar to "a certain abnormality." * cough * GOODBYE * cough * And there are some of the new faces we've never seen before too! Which makes it even more exciting. And when we thought we kinda figured out how the pattern is going, we got twisted in the face. [You thought that would be over? Nah, here's more. Have fun.] [So you thought we'd lay it out in that order? Nah.] [Seems like you guys are excited to see **** in ****. Guess what? We have another plan!] I still remember when my perspective about Angela slowly shifted as the story progress. From seemingly unforgivable to justifiable, and becomes one of my favorite character. PJM really pulled our heart strings with their story.

"Stagger Damage is the best" wait until you fully build Gebura, she can (if-not-all) fuck everyone equally, alone Also dont forget you can alter enemy's original target if your dice speed is higher than enemy's Evade can be REUSED if it win against Offensive dice, until it lose or clashing other defensive dice Also how dare you talk about Love Town, nobody speak about Love Town
Gebura is for beginners. Real unga is Yesod with even MORE power stacking that doesn't go away after one act or require sacrifices. Seriously, he's objectively the best floor in the game, not even power null shenanigans can stop him when he has Regret to casually delete 60% of stagger resist regardless of resistances and max SR. Don't even get me started on the sheer absurdity of Lament, there are very few things that can survive a properly built Yesod with Lament.
@@anothenblue2630 Yeps, for long fight, Yesod is the best if you hate farming Negative Emotion Farming like me Power by Speed difference Power when Light full Power on Blunt with cost of losing defensive dice Damage bonus by Request Seal enemies into Coffin also, Ding ! Gebura for fast fight, with near instant offensive buff, solo healing and anti-staggered
@@mystrallsnowlight Coffin is often overshadowed by Dark Flame on bosses since it breaks them in half. You don't get Power on full light, only Haste and damage increase. You also don't get Blunt Power at the cost of defensive dice, that's the general Power buff, the Blunt buff sets all speed dice to 1, which all become infinite with Gebura's Strongest slapped on him because lol. But he reaches full potential way before Gebura in a short fight anyway with zero effort. As soon as Myongest Purple Tear Yesod gets Chained Wrath, that's it, no need for him to reach Emotion Level 4 or sacrifice anyone.
@@mystrallsnowlight ironically, playing Yesod rots your brain further. Also a little tip: use Serpent's Descent combat page on Blunt PT and any other Blunt-focused build, it's great for staggering people, especially when combined with Concussion I think.

That gameplay explanation made me have a sensory overload after which i had a blackout because it was too much for me to handle. Or in other words i fell asleep.
I didn't count some because they were artificially created to further the educational value of the video. 6:58, 7:03, 8:38, 11:13 these are the 'I didn't read the enemy passives/resistances' or miss-play moments. Not bad all things considered. Very good video.
Library of Ruina is my first card game ever, and I have to say that it isn't confusing in the slightest. They did a good job building the foundation you need. And I like that they introduced each element of the system slowly.
Damn someone's reviewing LoR and actually appreciates the music part, especially the Early Battle theme and Kether, which often times overshadowed by other banger bgms in this game

Hey! I don't know if you know this or if you would care but the musical theming that you were so excited about has a name! It's called a 'motif' (moh-teef)! They're meant to be musical story telling and it's super cool that you noticed it! I really love music in video games and you're for sure correct on them making or breaking a game! Sound design is super important and I really appreciate more and more game channels recognizing the importance of it in creating suspense and hyping up the story telling! I know this video is a year old at this point, but I only just found your videos and I watched the previous LobCorp video so I wanted to say that I really appreciated it. Also, the thing about the gun sound effect hidden in the song was an awesome detail! I don't know much about guns so I probably wouldn't have realized what it was but after you mentioned it, I made a point to listen for it! I really appreciate the work you so obviously put into your videos! Keep up the great work!
I thought I had no idea what this was until you mentioned people becoming books in the library if they died. I listed to the song "Iron Lotus" a while back and looked up the lyrics on Genius and got a bunch of lore stuff and didn't understand. I couldn't figure out what it was from, and just moved on with my life. Wow. somehow, I'm back
Glad you absolutely love this game too. what you feel, is what i believe we all pretty much exactly felt, coming onto the PM group's works, it's so good!!! How did you forget to neglect to mention the fact that the next title, Limbus Company is going to be pretty much a korean gacha? also more or less mili is in the soundtrack? or link the project moon twitter, where they keep updating on the complex and interesting as hell new combat system as well as the new and more involved tie-in to LC story???? I am in shambles and my day is ruined. absolute in utter disapproval! (jokes aside, congrats on suddenly rising in the sub count. here's to soon hitting that benchmark 1K subs. cheers!)
Just gonna leave a like and a comment for this video. I'm not planning on watching this until i myself have finished both games, but I would also like to send my support to you! May your blessings be bountiful.
Actually playing video until the end gives more support than anything else, you can do it without volume and on 2x speed, and you just don't even have to physically watch it, but would help the algorithm, instead of just leaving and making youtube think you're not interested in this video.
If you ever wanna learn korean, its actually really easy to learn. At least the written part. Its a dead language so you wont get anything out of it, but its got very simple rules that let you almost directly translate korean to english and back once you figure them out.
You seem to have missed the part in the game where yesod rolls a 20 on a 1-6 8 times in a row Or the part where chesed uses 28 lights worth of cards in a single turn for free Or the part where [spoilers]

Yoo same, the Ruina mod that adds in total 5 custom floor made me discover Project Moon's treasure trove of games
at first i thought the characters were too well made for a simple character mod, then the EGO shit with the emotion and all the pasives and what not, i had to know where the inspiration from the mod come from and my godness, i would have never expected the unholy union of dark souls, random bullshit difficulty and SCP to even exist and even less, it having a follow up as a deck building RPG, that mod should be the definition of the meme "i came here for copper and found gold"

Please, start reading and STOP WINNING CLASHES AGAINST REVERSE SCALE.
you can't tell me what to do, ill keep winning clashes against reverse scale and burn to death like a true gamer--

Turbulence Office my beloved
I spent about two hours fighting the crying children. the music did not get old ONCE.
@@anothenblue2630 Are you sure? Because I remember all unused defensive die gets saved for the next one sided attacks.
@@crazy338866 you're remembering it correctly, but if the target dies, those defensive dice disappear even on a one-sided attack. LoR isn't devoid of spaghetti coding.

What i love the most about library of ruina is there is countless whacky shit that you can do. You can use enemy mechanic as yours on its full glory and you can even mix all the good stuff into it.
In other game maybe you can play as the boss but they are nerfed but in ruina you can play as the boss and make it even better.

@@lyfed2566 well, except for one set of bosses. God, why does their stuff suck so much? They really come off as rushed in that regard. Every other boss gives you way more sensible rewards. You really have to install a mod like Macrosis' rework to make them more than a cheap passive dump.

Speaking of Piano, I like how almost all songs have a bunch of Instruments playing but for Spoiler
"Gone Angels" the only thing that plays is a Piano
Thats the same about his realization themes and gone angels song, there is mainly piano.

Binahs fights I think were ones I retried the most on, which is to say screw Punishing Bird, which I eventually decided against my original willing of just using some generic set ups I had and actually just put in everything to hard counter the fight, which worked, but that didn't feel too good.
I did most fights including most boss fights in one try
Like I did Red Mist without even using more than 1 floor in one attempt, but Binahs... aeugh
Other noteworthy annoying fights are like, QoH, Red Hooded (The realization fight ver.) and some other shenanigans that I had issues with, namely like, reading essay challenge on Cheseds realization which took forever.
Even Tiphereth's who commited 3 cardinal sins by:
- Having the final stage of a long boss rush have wipe mechanics (I can't be the only one who was stunlocked by the Greed mass attack the first time round)
- Replacing my custom characters with prebuilt ones
- Being fairly heavily scripted in a game that usually lets you approach bosses in at least a few different ways (especially because his passives require you to 1v1 him in each stage rather than mixing attackers)
By all rights I should have hated Nix, but it was such a good finale for the floor as a whole I didn't even care. That being said... why are none of her E.G.O. cards Synchronization ones? LET ME PLAY AS KING OF GREED IN NORMAL RECEPTIONS YOU COWARDS!

Binahs fight is really tough and like Apobirb is really ridiculous :/
Also, Tiphereth realization fight I think I fought while being too overprepared, which made the fight a big cake walk.

The fact that I won't be around for Limbus Company makes me so sad.
Pause, why won't you be around for Limbus?

As a first-week beta player, I really missed the feeling of "Update Friday."
Sitting there, excited what's about to come next.
[We don't talk about Love Town]
We all know the struggle of not having a wiki page to help us figure out what the frick these are, as well as several mechanic reworks (remember the old burn/bleed? Or how broken the counter dice are when they got first introduced?)
But one of the best moments I remembered about the mechanic rework is when they added "Abnormality fight."
I just love how they still incorporate the gimmicks of each abnormality in a completely different genre of game, but still managed to pull it out perfectly.
The Bloodbath gives me a PTSD because it looks a little bit familiar to "a certain abnormality." * cough * GOODBYE * cough *
And there are some of the new faces we've never seen before too! Which makes it even more exciting.
And when we thought we kinda figured out how the pattern is going, we got twisted in the face.
[You thought that would be over? Nah, here's more. Have fun.]
[So you thought we'd lay it out in that order? Nah.]
[Seems like you guys are excited to see **** in ****. Guess what? We have another plan!]
I still remember when my perspective about Angela slowly shifted as the story progress. From seemingly unforgivable to justifiable, and becomes one of my favorite character. PJM really pulled our heart strings with their story.
How i define the PM (Project Moon) games:
L.Corp: Cock and ball torture while you try to understand what the fuck are you doing
(Please old man let me PAUSE PLEASE, DOOR IS STUC-)
L. Of Ruina: Cock and ball torture while you try to understand what the fuck are you doing^2
(Also: why Binah got 30 stacks of burn? I was fighting Xiao and i looked away for a second)
(Still to launch) Limbus Company: Cock and ball torture while you try to understand what the fuck are you doing^3 but now your wallet isnt safe from gacha gambling
Limbus company is .. a trip o-o
I'm just gonna leave it at that
Also Dante is a mood
@@keegansakura1307 well im glad my comment didnt age that well...
_well except walpurgis, those still steal our wallets_
"Stagger Damage is the best"
wait until you fully build Gebura, she can (if-not-all) fuck everyone equally, alone
Also dont forget you can alter enemy's original target if your dice speed is higher than enemy's
Evade can be REUSED if it win against Offensive dice, until it lose or clashing other defensive dice
Also how dare you talk about Love Town, nobody speak about Love Town
Gebura is for beginners. Real unga is Yesod with even MORE power stacking that doesn't go away after one act or require sacrifices. Seriously, he's objectively the best floor in the game, not even power null shenanigans can stop him when he has Regret to casually delete 60% of stagger resist regardless of resistances and max SR. Don't even get me started on the sheer absurdity of Lament, there are very few things that can survive a properly built Yesod with Lament.
@@anothenblue2630
Yeps, for long fight, Yesod is the best if you hate farming Negative Emotion Farming like me
Power by Speed difference
Power when Light full
Power on Blunt with cost of losing defensive dice
Damage bonus by Request
Seal enemies into Coffin
also, Ding !
@@anothenblue2630 with these amount of wrong answer, guess i should replay on yesod stage again to refresh my rotten brain, lmfao
@@mystrallsnowlight ironically, playing Yesod rots your brain further.
Also a little tip: use Serpent's Descent combat page on Blunt PT and any other Blunt-focused build, it's great for staggering people, especially when combined with Concussion I think.
Ah yes, my favorite Library of Ruina card... Charizard (11:45)
Can't forget about the Blue Eyes White Dragon (12:28) neither
Got not clue what this one (13:00) is
Its a colossal dreadmaw from mtg
SEE YOU ALL ON BOARD OF THE LIMBUS TRAIN, FELLOW SINNER-LIBRARIANS~
Library of Ruina in a nutshell:
“The difficulty spike is vertical” -Random guy in the steam comments
That gameplay explanation made me have a sensory overload after which i had a blackout because it was too much for me to handle.
Or in other words i fell asleep.
Although i'm already an old LoR fan, this video fills me even more with love into this game.
Keter 2nd emotion music will always be my favorite
I didn't count some because they were artificially created to further the educational value of the video.
6:58, 7:03, 8:38, 11:13 these are the 'I didn't read the enemy passives/resistances' or miss-play moments. Not bad all things considered.
Very good video.
Library of Ruina is my first card game ever, and I have to say that it isn't confusing in the slightest. They did a good job building the foundation you need. And I like that they introduced each element of the system slowly.
When the level 2/3 prep theme plays during battle i like to call that the "you lost give up" theme
Damn someone's reviewing LoR and actually appreciates the music part, especially the Early Battle theme and Kether, which often times overshadowed by other banger bgms in this game
So glad these games got more attention since your videos lmao

Quick note: Acts contain the guests, and scenes increment after combat takes place I think, not 100% sure
did not go over mili or hod floor
immediate booking rn.
that legendary sound just makes me wanna play heartstone again
Him : some of the later boss take up to 30 minutes.
That one guy who solo Black silence in under 7 minutes with Yesod floor: Ok
Edit: Also he didn't talk about any of the boss theme =^=
You know I feel like this game could be a board game
Regarding evade dice if you evade an attack you also gain stagger resist equal to the difference
this is what wouldve happened if scp's escaped into korea
I thought I had no idea what this was until you mentioned people becoming books in the library if they died. I listed to the song "Iron Lotus" a while back and looked up the lyrics on Genius and got a bunch of lore stuff and didn't understand. I couldn't figure out what it was from, and just moved on with my life. Wow. somehow, I'm back
3:36
OK Hod lets calm down for a second
I will do that whole thing later but for now i'm curious
25:35 Death Parade but they're stuck in an SCP Dimension
hey when you finish the game, atleast there's a bucketloads of mods that adds a ton of replayability
Can you recommend some for me ?
Actually playing video until the end gives more support than anything else, you can do it without volume and on 2x speed, and you just don't even have to physically watch it, but would help the algorithm, instead of just leaving and making youtube think you're not interested in this video.
welp... at least they aren't in SCP-4001, because in there you can alter what happens in the books, which correlates to a change in history
If you ever wanna learn korean, its actually really easy to learn. At least the written part. Its a dead language so you wont get anything out of it, but its got very simple rules that let you almost directly translate korean to english and back once you figure them out.
Character Customization AND Exciting Gameplay? For the low price of 30$ and lifelong trauma from horror aspects?
And it was 66% off
Wonderful reveiw for the uneducated, nice to see we got another project moon enjoyer!
Glad to see this channel grow. Can't remember when I subbed with this account, but I've occasionally seen your stuff pop up over the past few years.
Thanks to this video I graduated form Havard University
I think the most important question is... where is the mythical bang Angela cutscene?
Newgrounds, I think
I can't believe you didn't even mention the vocal battle themes
Library is an amazing game; if it weren´t for the floor relisations id play it again; they are a bit like the water temple in zelda
17:21 I AM FIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIRRREEEE
You seem to have missed the part in the game where yesod rolls a 20 on a 1-6 8 times in a row
Or the part where chesed uses 28 lights worth of cards in a single turn for free
Or the part where [spoilers]
"The difficulty spikeS are vertical."
I already got the game, yet you've convinced me to buy it twice.
