- i think its literally been over a year since i made a video on a different game that wasn't plants vs zombies. well. lets fix that, shall we?
Lobotomy Corporation is an SCP Management Simulator made by Project Moon, which forces you to manage an ever growing facility of dangerous monsters that would rip your skin of in a heartbeat. It's, uh, very interesting. You also meet hit characters like Angela, your AI secretary, as you attempt to figure out in literally any fashion what the hell is actually going on down here. Its a very difficult game that has earned itself a video because, well, its a monster management simulator game. That's awesome.
This is currently planned to be the first in a small series of videos, so keep an eye on this space. Maybe it would be worth keeping an eye on this space. Wink. Also sending the video around to people who would want to view it, I'd like to make even more videos on this game but that depends entirely on whether people want to watch it. So. Yeah. Wink Wink.

Hey! I made a non-PVZ2 video! this shall now do terribly.
Joking aside, I'm planning to make at least a second video to cover the rest of the first run. I'm not currently planning to make more than that, but if these two videos do well, I see no reason to not. With that being said, next video is currently planned to be related to Eclise so you'll be getting some PVZ2 content too if your here to complain about that.

Don't stress about it, i enjoy watching content that is different then what people regularly make as it introduces me to new things.

The workers (nuggets) dont have set gender, but not because of any agenda - its just since names are designated at random, making all names unisex was smart way to prevent lob points loss to rearrange it. And results in all sorts of headcanons - the same alex will be male for you and female for someone else.
You WILL fall in love with the goobers you led through this hell.

i'm glad creeps actually made a video on this game, cause i'm pretty sure this game doesn't get as much attention as it deserves. (either that or i'm living under a rock, can't tell)
it's a beautifully crafted game. good story, decent gameplay, quite a few bugs but very minor, and a very appealing both in audio and in visuals. if you haven't tried it for yourself, bloody do it, cause it's one of my favourite things i've ever experienced alone
i feel like it's a game that i don't hear much mention of these days, but i truly appreciate that more people are spreading the word of it and, well, allowing more people to experience something that i believe is a fantastic game.
i am now reminded about that time i compared pvz and lob corp's progression system for a writing class in high school

@@drfidelis558 Apologies for the late reply. Yeah it's kinda like what joweeochiclete said. Basically Lob Corp scratched the itch for me about organically getting new stuff alonside challenge as you went through the game. In pvz, you get plants but also zombies at the same time that are meant to interact with each other, making new challenge but also novelty in collection and gameplay. In Lob Corp, you get abnormalities which challenge you, but at the same time by taking on the challenge you get info and gear that can help you and are of equivalent usefulness to the risk of the abnormality (usually)

I’m so fucking happy you played this game. I recently beat the true ending, completed the abno dissolution, and got every piece of ego equipment possible. This game broke my sanity and I couldn’t be more thankful. To anyone who is a video game masochist, play this hidden gem of a game. Also I would honestly advise you not to compare this directly to SCP as even tho they are similar, it feels a bit weird when people compare them.

also, "mirror of adjustment literally just makes your stats worse" -- _heh._ fun fact: lobcorp speedruns rely so heavily on mirror that not getting it ASAP is just a runkiller and an instant reset. you got very lucky! it's just finicky to use.

I like the warnings in the beggining. If you got the game thinking that it looked kinda cute like me, OH BOY YOURE IN FOR A SURPRISE! Lob corp is absolutely horrifying and i love it! Its also kinda funny to me how its tagged pshycological horror on steam lol

I personally viewed this as a nugget training simulator, with some monsters on the side to collect for an optimal training environment
(this really paid off in later days thanks to having very few complicated abnos to split my attention)

Since I played this, I still have a special connection to it. Lobotomy Corp brought me into my favourite videogame-series and that with both sequels being a part of genres I usually really dont like.
The ludonarrative harmony and the stories they tell are so damn compelling, and the devs deserve so much more for what they do. While lobotomy corp struggles with it, the world and especially characters they fleshed out in the followups is soooo good. And all that began with this buggy mess of a game.
Definitely gonna look forward to the second part, I always love it when people I folöow play it.

The alpha was actually much more stressful. The abnos required constant checking and work to be done (Their mood worsened over time and they breached / had their effect). I think, that this is a missed opportunity, because the new design is too easy and tedious (Once you get the hang of it, there are no real challenges besides the last 3 days).

This video lack only 1 thing. That is live reactions to all of the bullshit mechanics that this game doesn't initially tell player about. Like the little bird you should not attack and just let it use staff as punching bags, the "magical girl", pressing the funny button or having an entire department turned to slime by a frickin slime girl.

25:02 I’d argue ‘You Must Be Happy’ is extremely useful, at least early game, and ‘Ring of Greed’ has its uses if done right (day 21 rn, the first abnormality I mentioned I use every run)
