Appreciate the video, Gregor. Gonna be in Florence in October. Still planning all the things to do in the city and Tuscany. This helped a good bit in the planning.
OMG!I'm heading there next week! I'll be staying in Rome first then a few days in Florence, just wanna take it slow and see how it goes, thanks for the tips! Can't wait!!!!
Gregor, I have been looking for you for two days! Yesterday, we went to Uffizzi to see David. We skipped the line, I highly recommend paying for this ticket. Today, we did a "skip the line" of the church and a timestamp for the Duomo climb. But first, we had a leisurely breakfast at Gilli. It was all perfect! We accidentally stumbled across to the Ponte Vecchio bridge on our way to dinner at Trattoria 4Leoni. Seemed they were working through some new help that didn't end well for a new waitress but our service and meal was excellent. We are here for three more days, and we hope we see you among the crowds.
@@GregorBrown Next time then! Have a wonderful time in Zurich (wow!) and please know we are referring to your videos constantly. They have been so helpful. We are doing the sunset at Piazzale Michelangelo tomorrow!
Thanks so much Christina, I love the community here and meeting people in real life. Bumped into a subscriber from Canada here in Zurich the other day!
We took a very similar approach to our day in Florence, but: - visited Santa Croce to visit the graves of Italy’s heroes - walked around the city and grabbed lunch - at 1 pm visited the Galleria degli Uffizi to escape from the heat. The pictures are amazing, but that ceiling…. For non meat eaters, Toscan Pici in Tomato and Aligone sauce is amazing! I do wish we had more time to visit the market though! Two to three days in Florence would be ideal. Great video!
Another great video Gregor, I tried a Panino Lampredotto last year when we were there it is so, so delicious my wife said yuk but I persuaded her to try some and she ended up having one to herself. Excellent advice once again. Grazie
Hi Gregor, new to the channel, already in love with italy but love your take on it! Cant travel at the moment as im waiting on double hip replacement surgery but once im fixed, i can't wait to start traveling again! Great video, have just subscribed!👍👏👏♥️
Enjoy your content and your videos. Question.. since it is recommended to order coffee and pastry at the bar, can you order and still take a seat afterwards?
Italy has so much to be offer! 🇮🇹🙏🇮🇹
That is right
Ma quanta è bella Firenze e la Toscana ❤❤ ,grazie tu spieghi molto bene tutto 💯👏👏 ,io sono lontana e mi manca tanto
Seeing the Uffizi Art Gallery in person was amazing! For anyone with even an inkling of artistic leanings, Uffizi is a must! ❤️🔥
Thanks so much 🙏
After watching a handful of Gregor Brown's videos, I was not surprised to see that he sleeps in his sunglasses. Thanks for all your info!
I love the new orleans style jazz music for the background ❤🎉🎉
I felt in love with Florence when I visited on 2019, just magnificent! Gorgeous city

I've never seen it like that. But you sill still have fun.

If you're paying first, they normally ask you that question
I have a motortized wheel chair. Will I be able to navigate around Florence
I'm not sure but frankly.I think it would be kind of difficult because the sidewalks and roads here are bad
What are the best restaurants to try the wild boar pasta?
It's hard to say because you can find delicious wild boar sauce everywhere in Florence.
@@GregorBrown Could you give a few options? I couldn't tell the name of the place in the video
@@mangeshkulkarni598 That place is Osteria Antica Mescita San Niccolò, in via S. Niccolò 60
Is Florence nice to visit in January?
It will definitely be cold, but you could have some clear, beautiful days, or you could have some rain as well. In other words, it's hit-or-miss.
Many thanks @GregorBrown
January is summer in Australia, try to escape the heat.
@@uyennguyen8102 I prefer it in winter autumn or spring.. in summer it's too hot for me.. 🥵
