It's two angels, one looking like more of an angel and one looking like their hot topic counterpart, fighting ghosts and demons with the final battle being against a very powerful demon, and killing them with one giant final blow.
Plus, their hot topic counterpart wants to kill them.

I absolutely just love how batshit insane this show is. Is Panty the worst Angel ever? Probably yeah... definitely... She's fucking bad... but it's SO fucking entertaining from start to finish. It's so funny to just see how much wacky shit they can do with this. You said it yourself Stuart. This is basically an anime magical girl show mixed wtih Ren and Stimpy. And sometimes I just want something chaotic like this show to consume as a popcorn, s hut your braiin off show.
Ah and the voice actress was originally the one voice acting as Barbie in the animated movies, she then moved onto Revy from Black Lagoon, and ended up as Panty. That must have been a wild ride and I can only imagine the possibilities of shenanigans in a blooper reel.
And she should have stayed as nothing…given her nasty ass personality. But ghen I guess this role was perfect for her given she didn’t have to act at all. 😏

I love how Stocking and Tanya both have the same voice actress. Thats Tanya from Youjo Senki. They really do an awesome job with the characters. It just fits.

Her alignment is Chaotic POs
Much like most of the VA’s in the show.
Well she’s definitely Chaotic but I feel like it’s Chaotic Neutral. Definitely not a Chaotic Good until the latter half of the series. But Panty is also such a fun character to watch XD.
Also super excited for that reboot that’s coming ^_^

She's actually a proper Chaotic Neutral too and none of that early D&D bullshit version of "Neutral" defined by either flipping a coin whether to be good or evil or actively keeping track of your good and evil deeds to create a perfect balance. She's got some very striking and consistent flaws and vices but also is ultimately on the side of good even if she needs a push sometimes and cares very much about the people close to her even if she spends most of the time bickering with them.

Fun fact, its heavily implied that the size of ones... junk, determines the size of the gun that their underwear turns into. Which means Brief canonically is hung like a horse.

I don't think any of the "Sisters were rude to each other" moments should get evil alignements. Siblings are almost always dicks to each other, but that doesn't make them evil. The only one I'd say deserves it would be stealing the pudding.
Also Gluttony specifically refers to eating and drinking in excess. The sin of lust is technically anything from being horny in general to banging half the town, because religion and it's inconsistency of extremism when it comes to this kinda stuff
Historically "Gluttony" was any form of indulgence in excess and was closely tied to Greed and Lust in concept.
I mean you are not wrong, out of the two Stocking is the more likeable character.
But hey everyone have preference and not liking the show is 100 percent understandable

Yeah, I definitely preferred Stocking over Panty. While yes, she is Greedy and gluttonous, she also kinda showed in the Romance episode that if she finds someone she cares about, she will move heaven, earth, and hell to make them happy. And won't just sleep around. As for the Daemon sisters. Yeah, they are more enjoyable and kinda wish we got a series on them too even if they are demons.

I never watched this series as I just didn't have access to civilization when it was popular and by the time I even learned that it was more than just a Japanese gag, it was way too late for me to even consider putting into my already full watch schedule.
I am curious about and would like to try watching it at some point though

the writers of this show just didn't give a fuck did they. they just decided to fully embrace the chaos.
This show is the purest form of Chaotic, that is something you can't deny.
The comment on what kind of protagonists you usually like makes me want to asl again: Have you ever considered doing a Bojack Horseman alignment video? Come to think of it, a line the character Diane says in season one seems to share how you do alignment: "That's the thing. I don't think I believe in 'deep down'. I kind of think all you are is just the things that you do."

Well, the trailer for the possible season 2 did indeed start off with the post-credit spoiler, so I think if they do try it, they will start off or at least reference the cliffhanger.
As much as I love PSG I am very concerned with trying to revive this concept in 2023. As fun as the show was, it really was a product of its time, and even back then it was hella controversial.
People have already given post-hoc complaints about things like the humor and even saying the art style is "problematic" and other stupid stuff, and I fear that this type of negative publicity would cause the staff to change things about an English localization if it were to actually be produced.
The Japanese don't really give a fuck like that, but still, I would be remise not to think it would have a social impact.
Well, then it wouldn't be PSG, because even back then it was intentionally made offensive as part of the shock and charm of the series. If Studio Trigger wants their version to have the spirit and the soul of PSG, it pretty much has to go out of its way to be just as offensive as last time.
Honestly, I say it's far past time that a comedy like this come out and smack the shit outta everyone's faces. We need it every so often, tbh.
I suspect it will either be handwaved away as some fever-dream like the Zombie episode was or start things off by saying that it was resolved off-screen or, at most, it will be resolved in episode 1. Because what would be the point of making Panty and Stocking without Panty and Stocking? The end of the original series would make it the "Brief with Garterbelt" series. Which is probably fine for an episode, but not the whole season.

Because I find both entertaining and they probably have enough morraly opposite and contrasting moments for an alighnment video of their own.
This show was inspired by Drawn Together after the creators got trashed and binge watched the series.
i currently have brainrot for Kid Icarus: Uprising. i honestly think its one of Nintendo’s best games ever made, don’t get me thinking about what if there was a video made about them.

Well, she kind of does. Although-- one limiter that this video didn't explain is that her gun doesn't actually work on humans at all.
Besides-- she is a daughter of god and not just some human who swore allegiance, so she is given a fair bit more leeway and is forgiven pretty quickly once she recommits herself.

I love the series myself. In small doses. Just watch one of the clips from time to time. And yeah, my favorite girls are Skanty and Kneesocks, but Stocking is great to. We're not really supposed to like Panty. She's literally the worst. But she does pay for her behavior a lot.

While I am a sucker for magical girl transformations..... I'm with you, this show didn't do it for me. Unlike Kill La Kill which had some overall depth to the series's message it was trying to convey to the point where after a while, the nudity of the series no longer felt sexual in any way, this series.... never did it for me. Its wacky good humor and fun I suppose but its overraunchy for my tastes outside of a few youtube shorts.
The fight between Panty and Stocking vs Scanty and Kneesocks was way-past-cool however. And yes I get the joke that the two Angels act like self-absorbed Demons and the two Demons are more organized and proper Angels. Still meh.
i love PSG as a show, and while the Anarchy sisters are the protagonists, i actually prefer the Demon sisters, Kneesocks being my favorite character

The fact that she (presumably) can't get pregnant by humans pretty much means-- why the hell shouldn't she?
The only possible reason to "slut shame" is really to warn someone against getting pregnant early in life and the responsibilities that entails or catching VDs. Take those out of the picture and well-- what's the issue?
