- Here is a night time haunted house walkthrough of one of our Halloween haunts. A Halloween haunted house facade full of Halloween decorations, & animated DIY props in a large Halloween display we designed and fabricated from the ground up. This large Halloween yard display was to be the entrance to a spooky haunted house walkthrough Halloween maze. The homemade haunted attraction never was used by us again due to moving locations but was sold to other haunt to live on and help keep the people screaming for many more Halloweens. This haunted house stands three stories high and is littered with spooky skeletons and corpses who reside in this lovely old haunted mansion. Some of the animated, motorized, or pneumatic props are haunted trash cans, water fountains, doorbell air basters, moving rocking chairs, fog chillers plumbed for low lying fog through two levels of the home. A motorized breathing grave rustles in the dead leaves. Tombstone grave poppers and other plastic skeletons strapped to oscillating fans. crows perched up in homemade trees made from real tree parts. Lightning and sound effects etc. This Halloween build was super fun for us to do but the time frame to do it in was crazy fast. This night time video took us awhile to post as in years but hey we finally got around to posting it. Hope you enjoy and as always thanks for watching and giving us feedback.

To me, this was the Sistine Chapel of Halloween displays...a monumental achievement in terms of its sheer scale, and gorgeous in every one of its innumerable details.

Not only is it an awesome set but the inclusion of a story to go along with it. I loved seeing some of the props from the past. My favorites are the “glowing mice eyes” and the “breathing grave”.
You and your husband do such amazing work. I wish you guys would do a series on how to build some of the props you use.

I still say you should have won that Haunted builders judging show, I can't remember what it was called. But ya, you did an amazing job!!

I stumbled on this house on accident one day when I was going to Griffith Park. This house has been the screen saver on my phone since 2014!! This is the haunt that inspired my (now annual) Halloween night Haunt drive around with friends!!! Thank you guys. Thanks for sharing!!

Even though this haunt was from years ago it inspired me to build lost souls cematary.
This year I'm planning to extend my hunt to the main house as well so both houses get to the stars of the show. The front house will be known as patch's pumpkin patch, and it will have most of the pumpkins there the middle walkway "forest" will be know as the island of the dolls hunted forest where there will be hanging dolls from the trees and bushes. The third part will be the cemetery/hotel fasade. (also known as my house.)

You guys inspire me. I'm doing our bit to put Halloween on the holiday calendar in the UK. Our haunt managed to get we believe over 200 people last year with a queue of 30 mins to enter. Hoping for more this year.

Great display. The set pieces are top notch and probably took a very long time. I do a 15 hour Halloween setup and tear down this I could never pull off.

Thank you, it actually lasted a lot longer than we thought it would sitting out in the elements year after year. We built it with hollywood flat style construction using pretty thin plywood so it was not designed to last forever. It was a pleasure meeting them and we were happy they were able to make use of the facade.
