We visit the Club Fear haunted house walkthrough called Twisted Manor a Halloween maze filled with spooky props. This inspiring homemade haunted attraction "show and tell" is so detailed and informative that anyone who considers themselves as a home haunter or those thinking of making a homemade haunted house or starting their own home haunt are sure to learn some tips and tricks. This year's Halloween walkthrough located in Santa Clarita, Ca. has some several new additions from the previous years. This video mainly focuses on the design and fabrication process for all the scenic art, props and set dressing, as well as special effects. You will learn the haunted house layout design and some easy to do DIY tricks to fill each space. We even learned some great haunted house DIY decoration ideas if you are on a budget. The haunt is filled with awesome DIY props, homemade walls, as well as creepy props and amazon finds perfect for Halloween haunted houses. We would like to thank Jason and his crew for not only their hospitality and time but for being so open to share their experience and opinions with all of us in this behind the scenes video. They are great examples of people that have a real passion for this hobby and are willing to inspire and help others. The cool thing is if paint does chip off it looks better. With Halloween you can be messy and get away with it

Dude, the hallway that pushes you out of it is a sick idea. I only wish big haunted attractions didn't have a conga line system for pushing guests through the haunt, and could have them go in small groups so more houses could adopt this idea. I would love to experience it first hand

one thing to try for your latch problem is a 12v power door lock for a car. they are typically very slim and can be bought with alot of power

Does your state or county require these haunted houses to be licensed and insured?
As far as we know we don't but I think it's always a good idea to have the insurance that would cover something just incase.
Hollywood Haunter : I was just wondering , I live in Florida and I put on a haunted graveyard the last couple years and I was thinking about putting on a haunted house or even a haunted backyard , you guys have given me so many ideas Thanks for doing what you all love to do. How do you get the city to ok this when I tried it they sent code enforcement to threatened me with fines
Sorry to hear this. Unfortunately every city and neighborhood is different. You would have to talk to your city and see what you can do. If they won't let you at all, maybe try and find another venue that you can temporarily set up at?
Any suggestions where to get the faux hedges?
If you google "faux hedge roll" you will get a good amount of options. There are many different sizes, styles and price points.
How do I find the hallway lights?
Just how big is their garage? Standard 2 car, or oversized. Loved what you did and I'm going to copy a good number of them. Hopefully we will be allowed to have Halloween this year(2020 for those people who might read this in the future)?
Its 3 cars. Two car garage on the right and 1 on the left. I love going in there when its empty and the the walls start going up and is crazy how he literally uses every inch of the garage. The only wasted space is to get the the fridge and 1 spot for scarers. (im the owner btw)
