@@GothicHills New sub here🤗 I luv Halloween!! My profile pic is of a real ghost from Chicago, Mary that gets rides from guys then dissapeares at the grave yard where she askes to be dropped off.
It’s wonderful to see such a well thought-out and constructed haunt. But what I really appreciate most is the camaraderie of the haunting community. Thank you for continuing to post these uplifting videos.
Thanks for this.....as always, i picked up a few things to add to my list of tips and tricks. On a semi-related note, I just love the SoCal haunt community. I can't imagine how awesome it must be having all of these incredible resources so close. It must just be amazing,
Big thumbs up on the usage of the Pi. My previous home haunts were all automated with motion sensors tied into micro controllers to trigger scenes...went through hundreds of zip ties to secure all of the controller wires.
I cant believe they built that on a hill. Colored straw gels!!! Dammit I wish I had thought of that. Beautiful haunt! Nobody addressed the skeleton lady walking up the driveway? Lol
Holy moley, that is a supercool setup!!! So many details - I bet it looks suberb in the dark, with all the lights and effects! Thank you for the video!!
I live in an old Victorian row home in Washington, D.C. (a city with a pretty active haunt scene in some spots!) The past four years I've put on pretty decent Halloween displays in front of our house. A smattering of tombstones, jack o'lanterns, and a show-stealing, life-size witch or headless horseman. But seeing the amazing haunts displayed on this channel makes me want to own my own home someday so I can go all out. In fact, I'm watching this video, in particular, because I wanted to do a haunted mausoleum theme this year, with either a witch or a haunted nun stationed inside. I'm not sure if I have the resources to pull it off, but what these guys produced has really inspired me to try! Simply amazing what they created. Big fan of your content.
OMG!!! I have found the Promised Land! I have to move to someplace like this that has this kind of community I'm all alone and what part of Virginia trying to do it by myself LOL! I'm nowhere near this caliber yet but I will be! I could see me taking a vacation out there around Halloween! Amazing you guys rock!!!
Holy Haunt! That was the most amazing home haunt... from the huge crypt, the vines, the fly-out ghost with back lighting. Is there a video of it in full action at night?
Guys: that’s AWESOME! The Julius puppet is great! Nice attention to the details! I wish I had better knowledge of electronics and stuff like Raspberry Pi because there are SO many effects I'd like to try to develop and perfect. Have a good Hallowe’en! I hope COVID doesn’t impact your haunt too much this year.
Remarkable, home hunt guys. I'm very impressed. It was well thought out. And can tell they spent a lot of time and artistic skill in making it. Like I do. I love the good story line and how all the rooms connect to each other. It is very detailed. I love good home hunts. I'm doing my own home hunt. Not doing the whole house though. I would love to buy a old run down home. And convert it into a full hunted house dinner theater.
That is hands down the best haunted house I've seen. I love the interesting story and consistent theming. The rebar and eye hooks for the tombstones is genius. How did they attach the wood to the back of the tombstones though?
I think it is most likley going to be Kara Walker, and you can find her at instagram.com/kara_walker_designs/, or at Karanormal Props here on RUclips, and her Etsy is www.etsy.com/shop/KaranormalProps. Hope that helps!
So they called it backing rod from amazon but we have purchased simular stuff to make vines from home depot and its called poly foam caulk saver from frost king.
Also, I have a few Halloween Ideas for you all as well. You could add smart Lighting to your Halloween props as well. I'm also hoping to make some props like that to. I'm going to name it....SLUMBERDOWN CEMETRY. Right in the TOWN of SLUMBERDOWN!!.
Joann coupons are gold! I go into the store and use my first coupon, then put on a disguise in my car (glasses and a flannel shirt) to use my second coupon, lol! I’m sure the Joann fabrics people don’t care.
This is such a nice classy haunt! I cannot stand the cheap and trashy garbage gore from Spirit Halloween. I much prefer organic diy decor alot like you guys do on this channel.
I really appreciate the ideas we can gain from your tours and interviews. Its awesome. However, I feel that the both of you constantly say "Yeah" Both of you say it so often and interrupt the people interviewed to say "Yeah", i find it too repetitive. I also feel that, although you both are probably saying it to show you're paying attention, but it may be offensive to the people your interviewing. Please dont take this the wrong way. I sincerely appreciate the work you're doing.
Note taken Bonny we totally get that it can get annoying. Please know we do that mostly out of habit to keep the energy level up and keep the flow going otherwise it tends to trail off. I'm sure they don't take offense because all these guys are our friends and know us pretty well. We all hang out and poor things get to hear us talk all the time. We do notice things we wish we did different but when we are in the moment we forget and we are not pro filmers that's for sure. Thanks for your feedback.

Ha That's just something we get so used to seeing, ya start taking things like that for granted. Its an awesome haunt for sure, thanks Cobwebs
...what skeleton lady? 👀 We didn't see anything... 😂 - Seriously though. That's Lina, one of our artists & volunteers.
@@GothicHills it was funny as hell to see random fully dressed skeleton girl walking up the driveway in full daylight, lol.

They do have a nighttime walkthrough if you're interested. Not sure if you saw that yet.
AWSOME!!! Thank You For Sharing!!! Amazing Work!!! 👍😎

Thanks to the haunt for sharing all their secrets! 😱
The puppet was awesome!
Thank you! 🖤
You could also do monster mud on the tombstones to make a strong covering for the tombstones. The wood on the back of the tombstones is brilliant!!!
Thanks for the suggestion foam tombstone decorations and wind are not a good mixture so you difinatly have to get creative.
@@HollywoodHaunter been victim to the strong winds here.

Great!!! More ideas. Thanks for sharing.
That's an amazing facade! Love it! Where do you store all that until Halloween?
I think some of it stacks up in backyard, garage, and they may have a storage unit as well.
Mostly stacked in our backyard. It all breaks down into small pieces. It looks like a disaster at the moment :) 🖤
Gothic Hills I hope to be able to do stuff like this eventually ❤️
Great set up. I got to go through this at Midsummer Scream 2019 (sad for 2020).

I remember the early days of Universal's HHN. This haunt is more pro than that !!!
Thank you! You're crazy, but thank you! Haha!
How did they make the colored skull light up in the witch room?
An idea how they did the slow opening crypt door?
YOU, sir ... Have a GREAT radio voice!
16:15 - I've never seen those "blank books". I guess that is a "seven stone" book? Anyone have recommendations?
Maybe contact Gothic Hills and ask him for the link?
Hi there! Search "grimoire" on Amazon and you'll find all kinds.
