- Make A Haunted House - Gothic Hills Cemetery Walkthrough Tour - DIY Halloween Prop Ideas We get some great DIY Halloween props and decoration ideas from Gothic Hills Cemetery home haunt haunted house walkthrough. Located in Sylmar California this home haunt is loaded with details. The front yard display is filled with a Halloween prop cemetery fence, custom made cemetery gate that has Gothic Hills with several carved and customized Styrofoam tombstones. Pumpkins, jack-o-lanterns, skeletons, and other spooky Halloween decorations haunt the front yard. There is a few projections and video played in monitors scattered throughout this haunt. An old abandoned and overgrown gravesite on a hill. They have a huge Halloween façade of a giant mausoleum that has been covered with overgrown plants. The Mausoleum façade has a walk in crypt chambers with secret automated moving doors that lead you into a witch room and overgrown vine covered busted up crypt walls. There is so much detail and DIY Halloween prop ideas to give you inspiration. I loved their huge rotunda room with the grand finale show which had an amazing light show and a jib operated black skeleton. This cool moving prop was operated by a person using a homemade wooden camera boom. Be sure to check out more of our Cal haunts, SoCal valley haunters, and other Los Angeles haunt friends in our other haunted house walkthrough videos to get more tips, tricks, and how to make a haunted attraction.

Thank you guys for the love and spending so much time with us. We are honored to have the spotlight from Hollywood Haunter! :D
That’s the most elaborate home haunt I’ve ever seen! Loved it at Midsummer Scream 🎃
You got a shout out too! ❤
It’s wonderful to see such a well thought-out and constructed haunt. But what I really appreciate most is the camaraderie of the haunting community. Thank you for continuing to post these uplifting videos.
It’s barely the end of June and this already gets me excited for Halloween!
So glad to hear it!
@@GothicHills New sub here🤗
I luv Halloween!! My profile pic is of a real ghost from Chicago, Mary that gets rides from guys then dissapeares at the grave yard where she askes to be dropped off.
AWESOME HAUNTED HOUSE!!!! AWESOME!!!! Now checking the night walk through!!!
Such a great, fun haunt. I love the hidden, sliding panel doors. Thanks so much guys!
YES!!!!! THIS MEANS IT'S GETTING CLOSER TO SPOOKY MONTH
@Daniel Holmes sad how covid might cancel it this year. And I work. But I can always call out, either way, I'm dressing up this year.
Thanks for this.....as always, i picked up a few things to add to my list of tips and tricks.
On a semi-related note, I just love the SoCal haunt community. I can't imagine how awesome it must be having all of these incredible resources so close. It must just be amazing,
It truly is wonderful. We are very blessed 😊
Thanks to the haunt for sharing all their secrets! 😱
Very cool haunt! Loved the use od XLights and FPP to control everything. It's magical when haunters and Christmas light enthusiasts collide!
Holy moley, that is a supercool setup!!! So many details - I bet it looks suberb in the dark, with all the lights and effects! Thank you for the video!!
They do have a nighttime walkthrough if you're interested. Not sure if you saw that yet.
OMG!!!!
These guys need to make spooky rides and haunted houses for a living! Their ideas and execution are amazing!!!!!
They are a great team. I know they would love that too!
Thank you!
Amazing
I cant believe they built that on a hill. Colored straw gels!!! Dammit I wish I had thought of that. Beautiful haunt! Nobody addressed the skeleton lady walking up the driveway? Lol
Ha That's just something we get so used to seeing, ya start taking things like that for granted. Its an awesome haunt for sure, thanks Cobwebs
...what skeleton lady? 👀 We didn't see anything... 😂 - Seriously though. That's Lina, one of our artists & volunteers.
@@GothicHills it was funny as hell to see random fully dressed skeleton girl walking up the driveway in full daylight, lol.
Love the video guys we’ll want more videos y’all are some good vibes ppl god bless yall
AWSOME!!! Thank You For Sharing!!! Amazing Work!!! 👍😎
THAT PLACE IS SUPER BAD ASS
No, YOU ARE! 🖤
Been following you guys for years love the videos keep it up
Thanks for sticking around with us
You guys are awesome
Big thumbs up on the usage of the Pi. My previous home haunts were all automated with motion sensors tied into micro controllers to trigger scenes...went through hundreds of zip ties to secure all of the controller wires.
Home Haunters here in Sio Cal are such nice people. :-) ^^^V^^^
Beyond excellent!
Thank you ! 🖤
I live in an old Victorian row home in Washington, D.C. (a city with a pretty active haunt scene in some spots!) The past four years I've put on pretty decent Halloween displays in front of our house. A smattering of tombstones, jack o'lanterns, and a show-stealing, life-size witch or headless horseman. But seeing the amazing haunts displayed on this channel makes me want to own my own home someday so I can go all out. In fact, I'm watching this video, in particular, because I wanted to do a haunted mausoleum theme this year, with either a witch or a haunted nun stationed inside. I'm not sure if I have the resources to pull it off, but what these guys produced has really inspired me to try! Simply amazing what they created. Big fan of your content.
So cool!
So funny where you guys are just chatting out front and a skeleton girl walks up the driveway.
Totally normal right? Lol!
Amazing job guys!
Thank you! 🖤
Very cool!
Good grief, I'd almost drive to California just to take the kids haunting!
The BOOM! That's genius!!!!! Now I want to make a bunch of those!!!
DAMN!!! THAT was really impressive!!! Well done Gothic Hills Cemetery...would be so fun to take the real tour!
Yes they're attention to detail, telling their story, and the commitment they have putting their haunt together is amazing!
Great video and great haunt!
Thank you!!!
Thank you! 🖤
Amazing.
This was awesome to see! great video.
FAV CHANNEL!!!!!!!!!!
So excited to see a new video from you guys. This was such an amazing haunt. Love all the details and work they must have put into this 💜👻🎃
Thank you!
Wow! Super cool home haunt. There always seems to be an endless amount of creativity and detail in these videos. Very inspiring. Excellent job!
This was fun! Technical AND Halloween excitement at every turn!
Great!!! More ideas. Thanks for sharing.
Great job a amazing amount of detail.
Lots of great detail and ingenuity!))🎃🔪
Awesome! Lots of inspiration here. 😁
This is awesome! It's like a horror, diy version of Poseidon's fury in universal Orlando. The fact it's in someones backyard is the best part
OMG!!! I have found the Promised Land! I have to move to someplace like this that has this kind of community I'm all alone and what part of Virginia trying to do it by myself LOL! I'm nowhere near this caliber yet but I will be! I could see me taking a vacation out there around Halloween! Amazing you guys rock!!!
Great set up. I got to go through this at Midsummer Scream 2019 (sad for 2020).
We are sad too :( But we're cooking up something for RUclips.
Guys: that’s AWESOME! The Julius puppet is great! Nice attention to the details! I wish I had better knowledge of electronics and stuff like Raspberry Pi because there are SO many effects I'd like to try to develop and perfect. Have a good Hallowe’en! I hope COVID doesn’t impact your haunt too much this year.
Awwwsome....Very good job!!!!!!
The puppet was awesome!
Thank you! 🖤
I absolutely love this! Great job!
excellent!!
God bless
Thank you!
WOW!!! What a inspiration you are
so many great ideas!
I remember the early days of Universal's HHN. This haunt is more pro than that !!!
Thank you! You're crazy, but thank you! Haha!
Very cool and awesome inspirational 🎃
Holy Haunt! That was the most amazing home haunt... from the huge crypt, the vines, the fly-out ghost with back lighting. Is there a video of it in full action at night?
Found it. Stunning!
Yes, go to the about section and the links to view theirs and Epic Home Haunts version are posted 😊
This is amazing I love it

This was awesome 👌 👏
Thank you! 🖤
This is awesome! I want one in my neighborhood 😊
Totally mind blown
Awesome Haunt love the puppet ...gives me some ideas now LOL !! HFL!!
I wish I lived in their neighborhood.
Remarkable, home hunt guys. I'm very impressed. It was well thought out. And can tell they spent a lot of time and artistic skill in making it. Like I do.
I love the good story line and how all the rooms connect to each other. It is very detailed.
I love good home hunts. I'm doing my own home hunt. Not doing the whole house though.
I would love to buy a old run down home. And convert it into a full hunted house dinner theater.
This is so inspiring
Thank you! We're happy to inspire! 🖤
You could also do monster mud on the tombstones to make a strong covering for the tombstones. The wood on the back of the tombstones is brilliant!!!
Thanks for the suggestion foam tombstone decorations and wind are not a good mixture so you difinatly have to get creative.
@@HollywoodHaunter been victim to the strong winds here.
YOU, sir ... Have a GREAT radio voice!
How is it I spent almost 2 hrs on an almost 1 hr video? Oh ....yeah...because it was AWSOME!!! Good job!🤗🤗🤗
Very interesting video
That's an amazing facade! Love it! Where do you store all that until Halloween?
I think some of it stacks up in backyard, garage, and they may have a storage unit as well.
Mostly stacked in our backyard. It all breaks down into small pieces. It looks like a disaster at the moment :) 🖤
Gothic Hills I hope to be able to do stuff like this eventually ❤️
My Favorite Time Of The Year Thats My Holiday year round👻😈💀🎃🦇🕷🐞🐝🕸🐲👽🦄
No one:
Not even the ghost in the mausoleum:
Me: *here in March*
Cool vlog channel on RUclips
That is hands down the best haunted house I've seen. I love the interesting story and consistent theming. The rebar and eye hooks for the tombstones is genius. How did they attach the wood to the back of the tombstones though?
I'll ask them.
How did they make the colored skull light up in the witch room?
I'm taking notes.
An idea how they did the slow opening crypt door?
Joann coupons are gold! I go into the store and use my first coupon, then put on a disguise in my car (glasses and a flannel shirt) to use my second coupon, lol! I’m sure the Joann fabrics people don’t care.
Lol!!!
🖤
Chris Guerrero We see you. 🤣😂🤣😁
Poseidon's fury but better!♥️🤘💀
I loved the lighting effects in that "finale room." What was the material used for the vines? Those are awesome.
Caulk saver foam sealer is another name you can google
💖💖💖
This is such a nice classy haunt! I cannot stand the cheap and trashy garbage gore from Spirit Halloween. I much prefer organic diy decor alot like you guys do on this channel.
What product was used for the vines? Thanks!
So they called it backing rod from amazon but we have purchased simular stuff to make vines from home depot and its called poly foam caulk saver from frost king.
Did anyone happen to catch where he said you could buy those bulbs?
shop.evilmadscientist.com/
33:11 Revenge of The Mummy Hollywood? (Orlando is way different)
16:15 - I've never seen those "blank books". I guess that is a "seven stone" book? Anyone have recommendations?
Maybe contact Gothic Hills and ask him for the link?
Hi there! Search "grimoire" on Amazon and you'll find all kinds.
Walking Skeleton lady coming thru says; " Does this outfit make me look FAT?" (😃😂😁😀) 👻🤘💖
Do you have a link for Carol Walker Studio?
I think it is most likley going to be Kara Walker, and you can find her at instagram.com/kara_walker_designs/, or at Karanormal Props here on RUclips, and her Etsy is www.etsy.com/shop/KaranormalProps.
Hope that helps!

Who Are You I’m happy Halloween Pumpkin Is Fun
Looks great but all I can think of is fire hazard
Yes all this stuff can be a big hazard most of us either spray a clear theater grade fire retardant on all the props, walls, and netting. We mix retardant into the paints, and place exits and extinguishers all over. its not perfect vetter than nothing.
Somebody saw like a flux of light at the back between the spider webs?
Minute 16:52
Just leave it there all year.
I want to make friends with you, how?
