I had the same realization when I first started dialysis at the clinic. So many horribly obese people, usually diabetic and often missing a leg (or two). Me, I have kidney disease and am about 20 pounds overweight, but in comparison, I'm doing great.
And that's how Gabriel met Jabba the Hutt.

I saw Fluffy's show in Anaheim back in December, he definitely looks a lot better off than he was before. He's still Fluffy, but he doesn't look obese anymore. It's a difficult thing to get a weight problem like that under control and that takes a lot of self discipline and support. He definitely moved down like 2 levels of fatness, he may not even really be fluffy anymore, maybe just husky. Good, he definitely extended his lifespan and he'll get to stay alive to be there for his son and to share his comedic gifts with us for a while longer. He's got a lot of funny stories left to live and he deserves that much.

I remember being in the seminar for gastric bypass and looking around at all the desks with fat people chairs and all the morbid people sitting in them(myself included) getting sad because then I realized what I looked like to the rest of the world. Was definitely a depressing moment in my journey.
Bet it was one of the final wake up calls you needed to help you with it though, so there would at least be that silver lining.

I've done the gastric bypass operation and I know exactly what he is talking about with the clinic. I honestly don't think I've laughed this hard in a very very long time I relate so much to this story I couldn't breath from laughter.

I was tempted to get a new seat.
But I thought 2.5 hour flight. I got this.
Guys elbow in my side entire flight. That’s him trying to make room for me. Due to his girth that was all he could do.
