Bands & artists that have been around for 35 - 40 years or more almost always give awesome value for money if or when you get to see them live. I found that out here in Australia in 2010 when I saw The Eagles… And they played for close to 4 hours, with the show ending near enough to midnight 👍😄🦅
Yes... watching BILL & TEDS BOGUS JOURNEY is why i liked this song... they played it all over the radio so the catchiness hooked me. It just holds an nostalgic feeling for me 🤘🏽😎
KISS wrapped up their touring days in December of 2023 after 50 years. This is my band - these are my boys. I've seen them live multiple times and was lucky enough to see them one last time in November of 2023 at the Hollywood Bowl here in Los Angeles. If you get a chance to see a full live performance of theirs, you should check it out. By far the most spectacular live show that you'll see.
KISS’s drummer, Eric CARR sang on the quiet interlude at the end of the guitar solo. This was Eric’s final appearance on a KISS recording. He passed away shortly after from heart cancer. RIP The Fox.
I've been a die hard KISS my entire life. And I've had the privilege of growing up in the 70s. And seeing how they ruled the seventies KISS RULZ always has and always will🤘😎🤘
The official video show old KISS footage all the way back to 1975. It was drummer Eric Carr's last video before he passed away of heart cancer. He died the same day Freddie Mercury (November 24 1991) I hope ya'll will want to revisit this song again, please react to the video “God Gave Rock ‘n’ Roll To You II” 1991
KISS is my cousin’s favorite Rock Band. He’s seen them at least 100 times, I would guess maybe even more. He took me to a KISS Concert right before the pandemic came. They were AWESOME 🤩
This song was originally released by Argent in 1973, covered by the Christian rock band Petra in 1977, then Kiss covered the song in 1991. FUN FACT: All three versions have different lyrics.
Did not know this fact at all thank you for it. Had 0 clue but makes sense as the writing on this album this song stuck out like crazy. Plus in interviews they never claimed another band or writer. So confuses me then and and now kind of. Great comment I didn't know Christian bands existed then either lol😂😂😂
Since you gave me a nice piece of info... my buddy named Josh Heirs who was Christian lead singer check out the song "Witness" my guitar work is on it studio version only and 2 live performances in illinois and Wisconsin. He quit music scene after a freak out from mosquito bite in Africa on missionary trip got very sick. Regardless of how he is now the song is original enough and was amazing. If your a Christian or not worth hearing for our work on the track. The riffs and melody has a total catch and it vibes. He does real-estate these days for his dad. 😂😂😂 but no joke hear it worth it it's my fav Christian song ever I have others but regardless of my playing on it I love the vibe and melody. It just hits right😊
You freaking nailed it. This was the song they played from the tape when the show was over and people were leaving the stadiums. It gave such an emotional cherry on top to what was always a great concert.
Kiss did their last show not to long ago at Madison Square Garden... But it's Kiss, so you never know. I'm mean I think Kiss did a 20-year farewell tour... (That might be an exaggeration)
Good 'Argent' cover. I agree with others...KISS Live was always fun. Luckily, for me, the three times I saw them were with original members; 1979, and then the Reunion (1996) and Farewell (2000) Tours.
This was their drummer (Eric "The Fox" Carr) last performance bc of cancer, and he was wearing a wig in the music vid bc he was already deep into his cancer, He passed in '91, RIP The Fox❤🕊
Asia & BJ, you’ll love their "Shout It Out Loud" and “Beth”!! “Beth” was their only top 10 hit in the US, and only included Peter Criss from the band on lead vocals, with Bob Ezrin: piano and production Dick Wagner: acoustic guitar; and the New York Philharmonic: orchestra!!
Petra, a great contemporary Christian band of the 80s, did a cover of this that was played at a lot of church related events and concerts. They wouldn't play KISS at those venues. Same song, go figure. Doesn't seem like a thing to worry over considering all the problems the Church has. Great memories, thanks.
Kiss retired December 2023. You need to watch the avatar version of this video. I saw Kiss three times. The best one I went to was on mine & Gene Simmons birthday August 25th!! I'll never forget that one!!
I've been a KISS fan since i was 10 years old I'm 59 now seen them in concert many times . Unfortunately I was one of the unlucky ones who had tickets for the final show in Toronto found out the show was cancelled just as we were getting to the arena. I'm not so much bummed that the show was cancelled stuff happens people get sick what did bum me out was the fact that they didn't schedule a make up date especially cancelling 3 of their last 5 shows ever. Would it have hurt to do 3 more shows ? Yes i know they wanted to make NY their last shows ever but still.
I don't know who keeps requesting the same songs. Save your time and forget Beth? Please give me a break. Kiss has so many great rockin hard songs that no one reacts to.
Love the channel, just kinda wish this reaction meant more to ya'll. You guys don't really have any context of KISS. They came up in the early 70's and by the late 70s they literally became THE GROUP of the 70's where kid's had lunch boxes, comic books, & everyone dressed up as KISS. It's so weird that so many people today have no clue how big KISS was in the late 70's. Love the channel but damn. This is so out of context. You guys haven't gone down the KISS journey before this song. But oh well.
I've seen KISS live a few times and regardless of what others may say, they put on one of the best shows I've ever seen.

4 times for me and I concur 👍🏻
Went to their 2000 farewell tour,
Bext experience ever, but also loud af😂

Most excellent.

Yes way, dude!
You may be a King or a little street sweeper... but sooner or later you dance with the REAPER.
KISS was,is & always are my most favorite band on the planet!! ❤❤ them.

They played this song over the PA system as the crowd was leaving for the last few tours...you tapped into the vibe of the song completely!
Brother BJ… If God gave us rock & roll… AYYYYYYMEN BROTHER!!! Praise the Lord!!! 🙏😇🎸

"Forever" went to #8. But while "Beth" is just sappy, "Forever" is just shit.
What a beautiful uplifting song!
awesome song..awesome reaction as always..Loves to you
They wrote the Rock and Roll national anthem!!! Rock and Roll all Nite(and party everyday)!!!
The “Anthem to end all Anthems” 🤘😝🤘
Saw KISS last summer. This song came in after their final show here in Europe. Original from the 70s.
You need to actually watch the video for this song to see KISS in all their glory from all the years. It just makes it that much more powerful!
You should listen to the original by Argent from 1973.
There is a version of this song done by Petra as well.
Awesome cool song yay, seen them live with original line up and replacement guys 🤘😆👍
I like this song it sums up kiss history and tells you that they will rock forever 😊😮🎉🎉
The first time I heard this song was in Bill and Ted’s Bogus Journey. React to the Bill and Ted movies. It’s a great time
Me too!
The just ended their "End of the road" tour. I got to see them in Portland, OR several years ago. The still put on a great show, even at 70 yrs old.

The band called Argent released this song back in 1973
Kiss is always so much better live. Their albums are only teasers for the live event. Especially this song
If I remember right they even added the National Anthem at some point when they did the song live.
You must watch the official videoclip , is so emotive
Kiss retired December 2023. You need to watch the avatar version of this video. I saw Kiss three times. The best one I went to was on mine & Gene Simmons birthday August 25th!! I'll never forget that one!!
This is a cover. The original was written by Russ Ballard and recorded by Argent in 1973
HELL YES! About time!!
Bill and Ted's bogus journey!! I love this song!
You have got to do Rock And Roll All Night. THE Rock and Roll National Anthem!!
The video for this song was Eric Carr's last drum performance he died not to long after the video was made, played the drums hurting so bad. RIP Carr
You've got to react to the Bill and Ted movies guys, this is on the second and its got a very young, Keanu in it!
Interesting song choice...kinda grows on you.
Paul Stanley is so underrated as a rock lead singer….Kiss is great live and Paul can still sing !!
His voice is in bad shape now, but he is in his 70s, back in the 1970s and 1980s though, he was certainly one of Rock's best singers, no doubt.
I did not know about that song until I watched Bill and Ted's bogus journey and I was like wow another kiss song that I love
Im sorry but the best version ever is kiss and steve vai combo from bill and ted 2
I am a huge Kiss fan and have been since the 70s....Not really sure how i reacted first time hearing it but it wasnt good lol
This was usually their last song in a concert
The Video MAKES the song imo

Why with no video? Asia and bj and their lyric videos again...
Watch the end of Bill and Ted's bogus journey
Was the closing song in Bill and Ted's bogus journey.
Its true 👋🙏☮️💫
RIP Eric Carr 🦊
God Gave Rock ‘n’ Roll To You by Tommy Johansson next ?
Petra is this... check it!

Great song. Unfortunately, the audio quality on this lyric video ya'll chose isn't very good.
This is some of the Corniest shizzle I’ve seen yall react to. 😂
try the Petra version
I like the Argent version best, but this is proper.
But the song is wrong.
Chuck Berry gave Rock and Roll to you.
Argents original version is much better than this!
Nah, there’s no energy in the original.
LOL...go figure..the 2 jewish members of that band are worth 200m and 400m $.......the others...5m and 1m. yikes.
Sheesh they dont even watch the video. 👎👎
out of hundreds of great tunes this is one of their worst.
i think rock n roll all night is their worst, if were being honest
No, it really isn't
That may be just your opinion. This and lick it up are two of my favorite Kiss songs
@@michaellynch9550 it is just my opinion. I’m also not that big of a fan of the song lick it up. But I do think that album is great
@@mariamenegalli2321 it's not their best, but it's miles above this one.
Asia, this IS the song they played when the lights came on at the end of their concerts. They just wrapped up touring this past winter. All done.
