70's KISS was kick ass party music!!!.....Things got a lil' weird in the 80's, lol, but the 70's stuff will live forever....And yes their "70's music" have been featured in all kinds of medium, movie, tv, commercials, etc.....

A few Halloweens back, I painted my face as Paul's Star Child. Was a party and broke my ankle. Ambulance ride and admission to hospital still in full face Star Child. It was quite the experience. KISS has been around since 1973. And people can debate about the inner politics of the band, but these guys put on one of the best shows I've been to. KISS ARMY

Saw KISS in '75 and it was one of the best concerts that I have ever been to. The pyrotechnics for that era was awesome. Other songs to react to are Beth, Detroit Rock City, Strutter, Hard Luck Woman, and Deuce to name a few. Great reaction! More KISS please!
The 4 original members you see in the video from the 1970s are Gene Simmons, with the tongue, Paul Stanley with the star on the right eye, Ace Frehley is the other guitarist, Space Ace. And Peter Criss on the drums, The original Catman.
Kiss was commercial with a capital C. When I was growing up in the 70’s, they had a cartoon that played every saturday morning, dolls (Unless you were a boy, then they were “action figures”.) . Gene did a lot of work with other bands as well (VanHalen, Motley Crue) and a few others.
There is a ton of good stuff from the KISS Alive album, i.e. Strutter or Cold Gin. Beth is a nice slow change of pace from KISS, but an excellent song.
I was 14 when this song came out and I was just getting ready to leave for military school after my dad passed away. I just remember everyone in talking about Kiss and I became a fan. Got to see them for the first time in 1976 and saw them 2 years ago and they never disappoint.
Been a member of the KISS Army forever and have been a fan since they came out in 73. I have saw them in concert countless times and they always put out the best
Started college in fall 1975 when this came out. Pretty much the party anthem of that era. I saw them in concert. Lots of fire and lots of craziness. Lol. Fun times
Kisstory has some very cool stories. Like the Cadillac MI high school football team that hadn't won a football game in several years, invited KISS to their homecoming and when the band showed up the whole town including the football team wore KISS makeup the whole weekend and won their homecoming game.
Got to see them 3 times over the years once in the 80"s and twice in the 90"s. Seeing them is more than a concert its a full blown fire breathing, blood spitting, pyrotechnic, loud, Rock experience like you've never seen before. Check out "God of Thunder" where Gene pukes up Blood. 😁✌❤

You guys there’s a Movie based on three Kiss fans (sixteenish) trying to make it across the country to see them in concert “ Detroit Rock City” where I believe (Kiss is from) not 💯 on that. The song is good too! Based in the early to mid seventies. You were either a rocker (Kiss) or Disco (Bee Gees). No in between. It’s hilarious how they treated each other over music. Great memories, Great Movie, Great Music. Covers a lot of things from the 70’s era, besides hippies and war. Actually reminds me of my oldest brother, (by eight years) he and his friends were into kiss, I was little, terrified of the Kiss blackout posters in his room🤣🤣🤣
Gene Simmons (The Demon) is on Bass, singing this song. Peter Criss (The CatMan) on drums, Paul Stanley (The Star Child) and Ace Frehley (The Spaceman) are on guitars. :)

They’re one of the most commercial rock bands in history up there with the Beatles with marketing making their way and name into anything mainstream so kids for generations can know them, you prob grew up hearing their music on soundtracks, seen them in cartoons like Scooby doo, in cartoon movies along side popular cartoons, and sadly tho they turned Kiss into more of a brand licensing the face paint, the original drummer and Ace Freely aren’t even allowed to use their old face paint trademark
You've definitely heard it before. You would have to be living under a rock not to have. They even made a Scooby Doo movie with them, and they performed this song ;)
Gene Simmons with the tongue. 🤪 Signature song! 😎 Many versions. This is the original. Very short. Suggested next video. Rock and Roll Hell. 🇺🇲🇨🇦. See if you can get the Kiss Kruise version. The live version is better than the studio version.
Yes Gene Simmons is the guy with the tongue. But more than that, he is a really cool guy in real life. He and his mother came here from Israel when he was just a little kid. They lived in NYC, they loved being in America. In fact, there are interviews of him talking about those days, he and his mom would stay up late until the networks "signed off" (a thing back then). The National Anthem would air with fireworks and fighter jets. They would stand with their hands over their hearts until it was over and the channel goes to static.
Kiss "I was made for loving you " .their disco song. Beth is another can't miss song by kiss.milder versions of kiss .if you want rock try God of thunder or I love it loud .
Although their first three albums didn't fair to well as far as sales, in 1975 they did something big and put out a double live album which was unheard of at the time. It sold millions and put them on the rock and roll map for good.
Kiss- the most profitable group in history. No other group, can compare to their money making power. no group , no genre, they merchandised everything.
I went in 1975 the Summit in Houston to see them. Some fine chick I didn't even know asked to get on my shoulders. I was like hell yeah get up there girl lol
This song and Twisted Sister’s “We’re Not Going To Take It”

Highly recommend the KISS ALIVE version!! Kicks Ass!!
Awesome in concert 🎸🎸🎸🎤🥁🤘😆🤘
Kiss were never my favorite band, but they have some classics and are really legends in the genre.
Greetings from Germany
The first time I saw them on tv around 1974 I shut it off n went to bed...lol.
A cpl years later I really liked them..
Gene Simmons with the tongue. 🤪
Signature song! 😎 Many versions. This is the original. Very short.
Suggested next video. Rock and Roll Hell. 🇺🇲🇨🇦. See if you can get the Kiss Kruise version. The live version is better than the studio version.
Kiss Is My favorite Band Of All Time
Listen for the "unplugged" version. Ace Frehley was my HS sweetheart!!!
Great guitar player.
Do You Love Me is a classic rocking Kiss song.
This version doesn't have a guitar solo.
Ace got robbed.
True they should have reacted to live version from the MTV music awards in 1997
@@chrissarina981 I would prefer something from the 70's when Ace was in the band.
Kiss has like 6 songs that made any noise on the charts at all. They made a reputation from the live shows.
75 I was in third grade and drew their faces in notebook all day. First records I ever bought.
